AKURE GREENLAND PROJECT
I am writing to declare the launching of Akure Greenland Project (a Cassava Farming Initiative) to save youth from poverty and unemployment.
This project is starting at Akure and it's immediate environment. Invitation as been on for sometime to youth and other interested group of people from this place to show their interest in this project. Just drop your number (preferable WhatsApp number) here and we will get back to you.
The project is bringing people together to work on Cassava Farming to leverage on the economy value of Cassava to put an end to poverty in our state. There are so many companies that are now operating around us that need Cassava for their production, but supply of the crop is at the lowest level of it. And the most fearing part is most farmers will prefer planting other crops and of they will consider cassava, it will just be for food processing.
Coming together here will be an advantage to us to have access to the various government and non government loan around which are difficult to access for individuals.
We are planning against next farming season to have individual farm or group farms, where we can come together to achieve the great aim.
Together we can achieve so many great things.

Procastination as for many generation deprived men from attaining their success from ages to ages.
The ugly demon that kill men ambition to be great is still roaming around today. This project has so for suffer a lot for the melice called procastination.
Some times ago I come here to announce my intention to come together with youth who may be residing at Akure and / or her environ and start Akure Greenland Project. A cassava farming and processing dream, then some people signified their interest but the number been few scared me off. But I went ahead and start a little cassava farm within the space of land available for me.
Am come back here again to ask for the hand of interest people to join me as we launch Akure Greenland Cassava Project soon.
The project is a dream to come together, have a planned work where interested people form a coalition of young farmers who start something on cassava. We will start small, with a big dream, we will work toward eradicate poverty and make unemployed youth become employers. This project will not limit us to cassava farming and processing for food only, but we move a step further to know what are other economical value of Cassava.
There is no stopping again. This time we are committed to starting, come what may, we are starting.

Let me use this opportunity to State clearly that i am still very much on Akure Greenland Project which I discuss here sometime ago and that though I have not post anything on the Rpoject for many months but that the dream is still on.
O wish to tender my apologies for those few who showed their interest then that I didn't get back to then, seriously am sorry, it's because of certain reason.
Akure Nairaland Project, a agriculture initiatives that intends to bring together Youth within Akure and it's environment together to work to eradicate poverty and unemployment from our land starting with Cassava Farming and processing.
This is another Clarion Call for those who feel we can work together and make Akure Green thus became our own green pastures. Where other can come into to find solitudes.

Some years ago, I think around 2017 I come up with an idea on farming and agriculture in Akure, I ask for youth and people to let's come together and work on Akure Greenland Project, but due to some unforeseen issues it was aborted since then.

Still on Akure Greenland Project, I stand to let Nairalanders to know that the world we are is a world where you stand up to decide you destiny. At Akure Greenland, we are looking forward to a situation where the youth in Akure area will come together to make a life out of our ever green land.
Government have so many policies even as we think Nigeria is bad that we can explore to start something.
The first step we are going to take is to bring together all interested youths (Nairalander or not) most especially those in Akure area, we shall first meet online, show our interested area in Agric (both planting and animal raering), see what policy of government we can tap into, then start from there.
As we earlier wrote, we realise with little researches we made that the best thing is have a group to access government policies on agric. The first thing each one should have in mind is our coming together is for a purpose. All we need is interest, a goal, a mind to make it. Akure Greenland Project is proposed project to make life easy for interested youth. The project is to enable youth in Akure area to come together share idea, research together, start new things in any field of Agriculture and finally to become the successful Farmer that we desired.

Akure Greenland Project is an idea that we come up with after trying a lot of things and embark on lot of researches on our to make something in Agric as youth.

We realised that individual effort will not bring the best result on any endervour in Nigeria. Those that will have help raise one find it difficult to trust just a hand.

A old farmer we met in course of searcing for knowledge let us know that his best achievement in farming was the one he achieve through joint effort. We are now looking forward to a small group of youth who will come together, reason together, plan together and work together to become achievers.

This is a clarion call to all Youth who really have interest in making it big in Agriculture in 2017 and who also reside in Akure to show interest in a group that will take some step to better our lot this year. Cassava Farming is in my mind
I have been thinking all this while of a way out, I have try so many things, some were successful and some were not. I realise after a lot of research and personal thinking that the only way out is to invest in agriculture, as much as I would love to start a large farming of cocoa, palm, rice and the like because of the profits level, I know it demand big start, thus I will like to settled for CASSAVA.

Am here once and am back no, as a novice, but interested farm, soliciting for help, assistance and more information to kick start. What can I do so as not to regret doing this.

Am in Akure, Ondo State capital, I will be ready to go any where not to far away to start, my hope for 2017 is on having a farm to start my agriculture investment. All sort of assistance, help and information will be welcome.

On irrigation, I am ready to farm all year round if I get a land. I am ready to partner with land owner if possible. I need a piece of land, buying or rent will require cash, but now my financial state make that hard. I need a land I will pay for later as soon as I have the cash.....

my guy this is a nice work, people who are yet to realise themselves may not appreciate this, and on a serious note we all need it, in an environment like ours, almost everyone can fall victim of anger, people around, economy, even government can make you mad. Though am a man, but I have a mother, a sister, a daughter, (& funningly) a step sister. Most mother are cruiel with their females kids, not because they hate their daughter but because they are afraid what is missing in them may also be missing in their daughter, they feel the inability, incompetent and what they lack may affect those girls. But in my home am working on women self esteem to avoid such. Self Esteem is the problem.
