For God so loved the world(humanity including atheists) that He gave His only begotten Son(Jesus) that whosoever (atheists inclusive) believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. In the time of ignorance God overlooked but now commandeth all men to repent. For what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his never dying soul? Think about this!
