Congrats on the birth of your baby.

You would need to contact IRCC notifying them of the birth of your baby, try to send them lots of messages until you hear from them, meanwhile what you can do now is to get a new international passport and a birth certificate for your newborn while you wait for further directive from the Canadian authorities.

I am not too sure about starting a new application, but I know the IRCC should be aware of your situation so they can process to ur little ones visa much faster.

hope others can give their inputs. Thanks.

Thank you

Cheers to your little one. I had a similar experience as yours. My SP PPR came on Feb 2021 (i didn't inform IRCC about my pregnancy when i applied) my intake was for May 2021, my baby's due date was July 2021 and my spouse's OWP was not yet in process at that time.

What i did was contacted my school and postponed to September 2021 intake stating my reason due to child birth. I gave birth and a month after i applied for his international passport and submitted a visiting visa application which was processed on the old portal. Also you will need to update everyone's file by uploading the family form (i can't remember the form's name) and report your newborn.

When you submit your baby's Visiting Visa application few days or weeks after, send an emotional email and webform stating a good reason why you need your baby's application expedited, apart from emotions you need to state facts too and let your email subject be "URGENT"

When i get home i can check the documents i uploaded for my baby. it's basically just your documents, his passport, birth certificate, vaccination card/ baby book, letter of intent, and a few addition funds

Thank you so much

Please, i need guidance regarding visa application for my daughter.

My family was approved of our Visa application (mine was study permit). However, i just had a baby in April and the school is billed to resume in September. My question...

1. Should i apply separately for my baby using the new portal since my previous application had been approved?

2. What supporting documents should i attach?

3. What is the best way to go about the application?

Someone should kindly advise.
