PRINTED! It will be ready for pickup by next Friday at the latest.

Man, recovering from the computer glitches is more stressful than the computer glitches! But you are all more than worth it! grin

Just seeing this, thank you so much ma.

Thank You for prompt response, that's reassuring. I can only keep checking. CEAC to see if it eventually changes. Thank You again

We are mostly back to normal processing -- still dealing with some lingering issues. Your visa's been delayed by a "normal" technical issue, though -- the sort of thing we see even without the worldwide computer glitch. We'll get it printed as soon as we can.

Good Morning V.O,

I was interviewed on July 2nd and asked to collect my passport today. On CEAC site, my status reads Administrative processing, after approval It's so confusing. Then the DHL phone number written on the collection paper never goes through. Does that mean the Embasy has not gone back to normal processing? I wish I can pick up by Monday, I need to leave Lagos as soon as possible. My case number is LGS2014529006. Thank You Ma for your time.

Good Morning V.O,

I had my interview on July 02, I was told to collect my visa this coming Friday. I checked my case status and it still says ready. Is this normal? Out of curiosity I tracked my passport although I know it is too soon, it gives even a more confusing information " there is no status update available for the passport number submitted" after the technical glitch, are passport ready after 5 business days as initially stated. How would I know if my passport is ready for pick up. Thank You Ma for your time.

Good Morning V.O,

I trust you had a safe trip, welcome back Ma! I sent an e-mail to LagosIV@state.gov since Thursday last week, to re-confirm my interview which has been scheduled for next week. I am yet to get a response. Thank You Ma for your continued assistance.

Good Afternoon V.O,

I am happy to announce that my interview has been scheduled for July 2nd. Thank You Ma. Just a little curious why are some interviews rescheduled? Thank You Ma for your continued assistance.

Good Morning V.O,

I just sent an e-mail to LagosIV@state.gov requesting for the status of my case, case was completed since 30th April, been on queue since 2013 and am current for June. When you said July is already filled up, I am trying to be positive that I would still get an interview date soonest. How many days is the response time for e-mails sent to LagosIV@state.gov. Thank you ma for your continued assistance.

Unfortunately it is impossible to get an earlier date (unless there is a true emergency). Remember, all the people with earlier interview dates have been waiting longer than you have! We've added appointment slots and will even be interviewing on a Saturday next month to make sure we see people as quickly as possible.

The consulate is working on Saturdays, that is indeed selfless. I would wait and hope it won't be too long from now, Thank You Ma.

GOOD MORNING MA,

Dear V.O,

Thank You for your continued selfless service on this forum, I still do not have IL for June, I am assuming I might be scheduled for July interview, Is it impossible to get an earlier date when NVC finally schedules my interview, can I do my medicals and then request for an earlier interview at Lagos Embassy? We would appreciate an earlier date, we have been in this process since 2013. Thank You.

For our purposes, police certificates are valid for a year after issuance. Medical reports are usually good for six months (unless there's a medical condition that requires monitoring, such as active tuberculosis -- then it's three months). I believe all June appointment dates have been filled, and July interviews should be announced soon. Hope this helps!

You are always helpful, it really does help. Thanks again.

Good Afternoon V.O

Please I would like to find out how long a police report is valid for? I sent a police report to NVC with in Feb, It would expire this May as it is boldly written it is valid for 3 months, I am yet too be scheduled for interview, am not certain if it would be June or July, do I need another police report for the interview? How long are medical reports valid for? As I read in one of your response that it is linked to visa expiry date. Are June interview scheduling still on going? And when does July interview commence? Thank You Ma.

We just nearly doubled our number of available appointments in June and even added a full appointment schedule on a Saturday -- so it's very possible!

This is really impressive, knowing the Consulate is working hard to reduce backlogs. My happiness would know no bounds if I still make it for June, Especially when it is my birth month. Thank You for the quick response.

Thank you for your selfless services here on nairaland, our case was completed at NVC on 30th of last month, am wondering if we would still make it to the June interview? Is NVC still scheduling interviews for June? I am a spouse of a US LPR. And my case is current in June. I have seen several people get interview dates after my priority date. In other consulates not Lagos. Is Lagos embassy completely filled up for June? Thank you again. We have been waiting for so long.

I'm afraid I can't help you with this. I don't know what documents you need to get a new Nigerian passport.

Thank You for your respond, I can as well use my passport in my maiden name, since a marriage certificate would so just fine. Thank You again for an amazing work you do here.

Hello V O,

Thank You for the amazing work you are doing , selfless service! My husband filed an i130 petition for me in my maiden name, we are about to submit documents to NVC and I want to procure a new passport in my married name, so that my green card and other docs would be in my married name. What do I do to make this possible. Thank Youn

That will be an issue as the success of application is not 100 percent certain. Why not wait until his application outcome is known?
The success of his citizenship application is certain, every non immigrant application is a gamble, I would go ahead and apply, if a VO thinks all the evidence I have provided is insufficient, we would pick another country for the trip, early next yr, I shall be having my US visa interview. Tnx Bro, would let u know the outcome wen I apply. Tnx anyway.

Maybe Yes, Maybe not, we would move the date forward if I get a visa and his passport is not ready. My visa would still be valid. but for the application I have to apply on time. Our travel date can always be adjusted. This is my challenge, do I include his receipt letter from USCIS saying citizenship app is in progress. Thank You

His US citizenship application is still in process? Will it be ready before the travel date?

Hopeful1987: U guyz are doing a great job here. Tnx in advance. I am currently employed here in Nigeria I am married to a US permanent resident with a pending immigrant visa approval to live permanently in the US. I am awaiting my immigrant visa interview. Hubby resides abroad. Am about applying for UK visitors visa for our wedding anniversary celebration in Dec. Preferably I would like to submit my application in Teleperformance in V.I. My questions are as follows.
* on the application form online, two questions confuse me " [b]The total amount of money you have for this trip" and "what is the total cost of your trip including money other maybe giving u in GBP" is it the name question but difference in currency?
* how many photocopies are needed at Teleperformance
* I would only be providing half of my expense hubby would sort the rest out. I would be using my statement as well as his. Does he need to add any other thing apart from his statement of account it is a Nigerian account. He does not have his US passport yet, his citizenship is in process. Would this affect my application as he is to meet me in London, he does not need a visa wen he becomes a US citizen. The application is in progress.
* I have included my employment letter, offer letter, pay slipd for 6 months, FIRS tax card, employee I.D card, introduction letter from my company, landed doc and car papers, pending US immigrant visa approval, travel itinerary, employment confirmation letter, hotel booking, health insurance card, National Housing fund passbook, wedding I.V n program, wedding certificate, honey moon in Dubai pics and shopping receipts. What more can I add. I also added hubby's tax clearnce in the US, permanent resident card n visa stamps to other countries in his passport. What more do I need to know about Teleperformance. What's their procedure. They don't have a phone number on their website. Thank You.

Nov visa bulletin's cut off is same as that of Oct no movement, what factors affect approvals of i130 petitioned by US LPR, this wait is killing. Thank You
