Hi Kigari. This is a wonderful thread and we re learning a lot. How much is tickets to Los Angeles for a group of 8. 4 adults and 4 children. We re looking at the first weekend in December. And would flying to New York be cheaper for us before connecting LA. Please help us look at the cheapest alternative routes. Thanks.

Vo: Am approving your visa because you qualify and pulls out a white paper and circles where we re to pick and even joked that Isolo is her town

I must also state that I filled the Ds160 forms myself. I didn't use any agent. I honestly filled the truth to the best of my ability.
Meanwhile there was a lot of blue paper flying around and at a point I was so scared and nervous.
Then my son while being interviewed started crying mummy am hungry, mummy am hungry, my tummy arches. Infact I thank God for his favour because this is our second time. The first time I had not discovered this forum and we used an agent.

. The girl bad sha, she did not even ask for any documents from me...didn't even 5mins with us...I was pissed I had to just drive back to delta from the embassy today... We arrived Lagos since Sunday and lodged in a hotel at muri okunola str so we can be at the embassy early..wasted 50k on hotel and dis woman just melted my spirit o..I still de vex now sef

Sorry bro that was how my hubby was so angry when we were denied last year and he said he is not going to that embassy again....
I think somehow they missed it cause I know people who have no intention of coming back being granted visa and genuine people are being turned back..

Sorry about the denial I will suggest you try another country since you have plan to travel for vacation in the first place... this will also help your next U.S application.

@seyewest.My family was denied last year and we just went to London at the same time we were ment to be in the US. I hope this helps our next application??

Good evening all. Just started following this travel section late last year. We were at the embassy in Jan 2017 as a family and we were denied. Here goes our transcript :

Vo noticed my hubby just renewed his 2yrs UK visa and he took his passport and went to check something out.
Vo: directed his question at me have you travelled outside the country before?
Me:yes pls
Vo: When?

Vo: Where
Me:UK
Vo took our passport and confirmed the previous travel visa.
Vo: What are you going to do in the US?
Hubby: we re going get on vacation
VO: Where?
Hubby:Houston
Vo: Any family in Houston?
Hubby:No
Vo: What would you do there
Hubby : we would visit bla bla bla

Hubby: I work with bla bla

Vo: looked at the four of us and said am sorry but you do not qualify for a visa today and hands over the blue paper. Hubby was stunned
We had promised our kids we would take them to the US in April 2017 during the Easter period and my kids didn't understand we were not given visa, they just want a vacation. So I applied for UK visa along with my kids since my hubby had already and we went to the UK for our Easter vacation.
Now we're ready to visit again this time in summer. I want to change our destination to Disney land florida, would this raise any question on why the change of destination and is our ties strong enough to get the visa because we re still going as a family.
