Time is a major part of human life, once a baby is born his time start counting. Webster dictionary define Time as the measured or measurable period during which an action, process or condition exists or continuous. There is a popular scripture saying: To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven Eccl 3vs 1.Someone said Time is God’s way of keeping everything from happening at one. So many people waste their precious 24hours on non-profitable investment which leads to unfulfilled of purpose. One of the wisest things we can do is to live life on purpose. We are told in scripture to redeem the time (Eph. 5:16). We are to intentional with how we spend our time. Everyone in the universe has been given the same quantity of time: we all get twenty-four hours per day whether we live in Aso-rock or ghetto. What we do with twenty-four hours determines what we accomplish in our lifetime. In psalm 90:12, Moses made this request: Teach us to number our days that we may gain a hearth of wisdom. We are to take into account each day and not squander the time we have. Wisdom redeems the time and makes the most of every opportunity. We have all heard Benjamin Franklin’s famous quip, “Early to bed, early to rise, makes a Man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” In an age of time saving, Modern conveniences such as automatic dishwashers and microwave ovens, we also have major time- depleter such as television and internet. What would Ben Franklin have thought about the masses who stay up watching cable TV until all hours of the night, channel surfing from one infomercial to another because they are too tired to go to bed? Effective time management requires getting God’s heart on what is worth “investing” time in versus what we should not be “spending” or even “wasting” time on. As with any financial investment, you must ask what kind of return your time investments are yielding. Time “spend” is a cost and you must be mindful of the benefit you are exchanging for the cost you are incurring. continue reading https:// horladtop./2015/08/13/apply- wisdom-with-your-24hours/

Agriculture / You’re Thinking About Starting A Farm? by horladtop(m): 10:23pm On Nov 18, 2014
You’re thinking about starting a farm?

What to Consider?

Vision and Values : A farm is both an extension of
the vision and values of the individual(s) who start
(s) it, and it has to be carefully planned to make
sure that it fits within that vision as well as within
the particular confines of the place where it is
established.

Place Matters : Direct market farms typically aren’t
well suited for the rural heartland, and rice farming
is not going to be successful on the arid plains or northern. These are extreme examples,
but there are important subtleties to every market
and every plot of land.

Planning : New farms need to have a well
designed business plan that takes into
consideration individual infrastructure and financial
needs, the viability of marketing strategies, and the
farmer’s production capacity and knowledge .

Education and Experience : Preparation, knowledge,
and training are essential. But so is being able
adapt quickly to the unexpected, to persevere when
factors beyond one’s control conspire against you,
and knowing how/when/what/where to expend
time, energy, and resources.

Managing risk: It is helpful to plan careful to manage
risk through diversification, financial management,
and the ability to withstand a couple of bad years.

Start small : For most beginning farmers, we advise
starting small to allow time for details to be worked
out, for additional learning to occur, and to mitigate
the size and scope of problems that will inevitably
arise.
