A Gothic hip-hop artist charged with killing a London breakdancer with an illegal buttocks injection name-dropped her way through testimony Friday (Feb. 27), claiming that one of the celebrities who sought her out became "a walking billboard" for her work.

Black Madam (real name: Padge-Victoria Windslowe) claimed model Amber Rose started receiving injections from her before she became famous and continued until two days before the 20-year-old woman's 2011 death at an airport hotel.

She said under cross-examination that Kanye West dropped Rose off for one procedure when the two were dating and that she was supposed to perform a "correction" on Nicki Minaj that never happened.

Representatives for Rose and Minaj did not immediately respond to emails requesting comment.

Windslowe, 45, talked of the dizzying array of names, addresses, careers and identities she has assumed in the 20 years she admits doing underground cosmetic surgery on the side.

Clients from rappers to strippers to fellow transgender women paid thousands to plump their posteriors, Windslowe said.

"Amber was like a walking billboard," she said of Rose, who was raised in Philadelphia. "She brought a lot of girls from VH1."

Asked by Assistant District Attorney Carlos Vega why they would choose an unlicensed practitioner over an L.A. plastic surgeon, Windslowe said, "I was the best, and I don't mean that to be cocky."

Her "Black Madam" moniker, she said, came from many lucrative years running an escort service employing male, female and transgender sex workers.

"It's set up like a friendly date, but I'm not naive about what goes on," she said. "They're doing something. It's not just escorting."

She said she kept half their take and made good money. But she stopped after her father died in 2003 because she "didn't feel good about it anymore."

The names she used on bank cards and mail deliveries before and after Aderotimi's death included birth name Forrest Gordon, the more feminine Foreest Leona Gordon, and Foreest Leona Giordani.

"I thought it sounded like a movie star name, so I liked it," she said of the last name.

Windslowe is charged with third-degree murder for the death of Claudia Aderotimi after she was injected with low-grade silicone at a Philadelphia airport hotel.

Doctors have told jurors during the two-week trial that the syringe hit a vein and sent silicone to the woman's lungs. Two other women testified they spent months in the hospital with similar injuries after visits with Windslowe, including one who received an injection on a dining room table at a "pumping party."

Defense lawyer David Rudenstein seemingly hoped to show jurors through Windslowe's testimony that she prepped them with alcohol before and after the injections and took other safety measures.

However, prosecutors say she mostly used nonsterile, industrial silicone, not the medical-grade silicone that is encased in implants during standard cosmetic surgeries.

"I told [clients] I've been doing this for years, I've done it to myself and my friends, and I was trained by a nurse up in Washington Heights [in New York City] back in 1995," Windslowe said Friday, explaining her credentials.

On the stand Thursday, Windslowe said she was trained by a doctor in Thailand and another in South America who performed her sex-change operation.

She said she started doing body sculpting two decades ago to help transgender friends. Transgender women often want to plump up an indent in the side of the buttocks they call "the boy pocket," she said.

Windslowe charged about $1,000 to $2,000 depending on the amount of silicone requested. Some clients, including a pole dancer she discussed Friday, saw her a half-dozen times.

Windslowe told jurors Thursday that she has worked on thousands of people, earning the title "the Michelangelo of buttocks injections," and uses the same products on herself.

A knife-wielding mob has hacked to death a US-Bangladeshi blogger whose writing on religion had brought threats from Islamist hardliners.
Avijit Roy, an atheist who advocated secularism, was attacked in Dhaka as he walked back from a book fair with his wife, who was hurt in the attack.
No-one has been arrested but police say they are investigating a local Islamist group that praised the killing.
Hundreds of students gathered in Dhaka to mourn the blogger's death.
Mr Roy's family say he had received threats after publishing articles promoting secular views, science and social issues on his Bengali-language blog, Mukto-mona, or Free Mind.
The website was inaccessible on Friday.
He defended atheism in a recent Facebook post, calling it "a rational concept to oppose any unscientific and irrational belief".
The killing of another secular blogger in early 2013, which was blamed on religious hardliners, sparked protests from free-speech supports and counter-protests from Islamists.
The police said the attack on Mr Roy was similar to the 2013 murder.
A group of men ambushed the couple, who live in the US and were visiting Dhaka only to attend the book festival, as they walked toward a roadside tea stall.
At least two of the attackers hit them with meat cleavers, police chief Sirajul Islam told the AP news agency.
The attackers dropped their weapons and ran away, disappearing into the crowds.
The police told the BBC they were investigating a local hard-line religious group that had praised the killing in an online message.
Death threats against atheist writers and bloggers are nothing new in Bangladesh.
Prominent writer Taslima Nasreen had to leave Bangladesh after she received death threats from hard-line Islamists in the mid-1990s.
She wrote on her blog: "Avijit Roy has been killed the way other free thinker writers were killed in Bangladesh. No freethinker is safe in Bangladesh.
"Islamic terrorists can do whatever they like. They can kill people with no qualms whatsoever."

Akinsanya says that normal body temperature of the body is between 34 and 37 oC while that of cold water is usually between zero and two degrees Celsius and this sudden change in temperature levels, which usually happens when we drink cold water, shocks the body, leading to chronic diseases in those who drink it over time.

“The body is made up of 70 per cent of warm water. Water is the most important fluid in the body because it is the medium blood uses. It is the medium which circulates nutrients around the body. If the 30 per cent we drink is against the normal temperature of the body, we see how hard it is for the body to make use of it. Cold water causes distress in the tissues and blood vessels.

“The body has to warm up the cold water you drink every time to an acceptable temperature before it can take it up for digestion, nutrient and blood circulation. That is why we advise people not, take drugs with cold water. The drugs will not digest on time; it means you won’t get the best of the drugs because the water did not dissolve on time.”

Family health physician and author of Ten Habits To Drop Right Now, Dr. Vasant Lad, adds that drinking cold water after a meal has adverse effects on the digestive system. Lad also warns against drinking cold water immediately before a meal.

For Dr. Lucia John, a major reason why we should ditch cold water for tepid or warm one is its effect on the heart.

According to the healthy living expert, the heart labours more to restore blood circulation when we drink cold water that is not compatible with the body’s temperature.

“The brain is fairly sensitive to temperature change, that is why it freezes when you drink cold water at first. This continuous seizure is not good for it.

The brain is one of the relatively important organs in the body, and it needs to be working all the time. We should avoid anything that will make it freeze,” he adds.

To know the right temperature of water to drink, Akinsanya says, “Put one finger in your mouth and close it. The temperature of what you feel is the temperature of water or food that you eat most times. That is what the body is used to and that is what you should give it.”

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has told Sport magazine he has had to adapt to "getting kicked more" since arriving in the Premier League and insisted: "My challenges on the ball are strong but noble at the same time."
Former Atletico Madrid star Costa developed a reputation as one of the game's more aggressive players during his time in La Liga and, having just completed a three-match suspension after being found guilty of stamping on Liverpool's Emre Can last month, there has been fresh criticism of his approach.
However, the Brazil-born Spain international said he was still trying to adapt to the increased physicality of English football.
"I am getting used to getting kicked more than before," he said. "Premier League defenders are really strong and physical. In England, the referees don't call many fouls, as opposed to Spanish football. Consequently, you must be really strong all through the 90 minutes."
Asked whether he retained the mentality of a "street" footballer, he said: "It depends on the point of view.
"Some of the kicks I suffer in England would be punished with a red card in Spain. My challenges on the ball are strong but noble at the same time. If you check my records, you will find out that I've never caused a bad injury to any player.
"The bottom line is that sometimes the little things I do on the pitch provoke exaggerated reactions. But if you rewind a bit and go through what they did to me, you may have another point of view. I consider myself a player who fights and gives everything on the pitch. Those who know me and appreciate those values understand what I say."
Despite having to cope with a more physical style of play in England, Costa has excelled at Chelsea and currently leads the Premier League scoring charts with 17 goals from 19 games.
