xkobans: So i just used the Teleperformance online tracking website and I see the status changed from transferred to ukvi for a decision to this,

"Your application was recieved by UK Visas & Immigration for a decision on 20/08/2014"

I don't understand what they expect me to do with this information, like seriously, I already know a decision has been made and your just updating that it was received!? Are these guys this insensitive and mismanaged? It's pitiable.

Just a tiny bit more patience Stag wink It's almost done, at least you already know a decision has been made. Don't let the irredeemable incompetence of teleperformance affect your joy even in the slightest way.

I guess so. but the surprising thing is that Victoria Island Centre is the only office on Teleperformance website. Nothing about the Abuja office as at the time this morning. I just hope VFS release other appointment date for the month. I can't afford to enter a deadlock situation with teleperformance. *Prayer time*

Seriously? They don't even have the Abuja office up on their website na wa for teleperformance. Let's be hopeful for more dates at VFS for next week till even end of month like Ikeja office. Prayer is key.

perfect08: I hail all my oga in the house. Anybody know why there is no appointment date in VFS Abuja from next monday?

Based on the rumor that VFS might soon stop handling visa applications to the UK I personally think UKBA is trying to hand over visa processing to teleperformance fully that's why a new Abuja office for teleperformance just opened.

Personal opinion tho nothing official.

please and please do not submit CAS statement, those people can be so lazy to check their system for such. at times they at contented with hard copies u submitted. I'm talking from experience. Follow your school's advice.

Honestly you completely get my fear of laziness on their end! Anyways just to be safe I submitted the CAS with the update attached and a hand written additional note attached to it explaining myself well. I no fit shout. Thanks man!

Ur skol ought to have send u an updated CAS..I also paid initial of £7000 then pay my remaining tuition later...my school sent me an updated CAS..thou my application form had £7000 I just attached an additional note so as to make sure dey see dat full tuition was paid....u just have to submit your CAS as spikec said..

Thanks brother! Did as spikesC advised.

Yeah, quite true as i just checked the guidance document.
But at all times, they would ask for your CAS while submitting the docs. Even the schools ask for your CAS document when registering.
It won't hurt you to submit it.

For the fees declaration, you can add your school fees receipt and/or a note in the additional section

Thanks bro I did as you said just to be safe even tho dey didn't ask for it when I was submitting. Better safe than sorry cheesy
Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by HudsonBanks(m): 1:42am On Sep 08, 2014
See extract from Supporting Documents Guideline below. What was specified was "Write CAS reference number", no submission of actual CAS stated.

Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by HudsonBanks(m): 1:31am On Sep 08, 2014
spikesC:

You need to include the CAS.
It is a requirement for tier-4 visa application.

Bro actually eh I decided to stick with the instruction from my school because the Full CAS statement was issued when I had only made a £2k deposit, so it shows only £2k tuition paid. But now I've paid my full tuition and I got an email confirming it has been updated on my CAS with UKVI from my school CAS team but no fresh CAS statement reflecting the full tuition on paper(see the update email I got below). I don't just want to confuse the ECO with my Full CAS statement showing only £2k meanwhile my CAS on their system shows fully paid.

"....Please find the updated information below.

CAS Number: XXXXXXXXXXXX

Course Title: MSc Process Systems Engineering

Course Fees for 1st Year (£): 16345

Course Fees Paid (£): 16345

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Yours sincerely,

Do i need to fill the appendix 8 form?

I mean i thought it was for those that didnt apply online.
What i'm asking is do i fill both the appendix 8 form even though i've completed the online form and printed?

DO I FILL AND SUBMIT BOTH FORMS?

where can i download the appendix 8 form?

Thanks

cc justwise cc spikesc

Yes get it and fill it then submit with your application, if they don't need it they'll remove it and give back to you. Just the appendix 8 form,no need for VAF 9 form.

Get it here https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/261462/vaf9-app81.pdf

My people! I'm heading out to VFS Abuja tomorrow morning to submit my application finally smiley

Please I have a few final questions. I have all my documents put in a big envelope but I was wondering the exact format of addressing the envelope?

Below is my checklist of supporting documents in envelope;

1. Appointment Confirmation
2. Online Application Print-out
3. Appendix 8 Self-Assessment form (Filled)
4. e-Receipt for Accommodation Payment
5. 29 days Personal Bank Statement
6. Oanda Currency Converter Print-out for Application date
7. Original Degree Transcript
8. Original Degree Statement of Result
9. ATAS Certificate
10. TB Certificate
11. International Passport
12. 2 passport photos according to UKVI spec

Notice I didn't include a copy of my CAS statement as my school specifically advised that I do not submit the CAS statement with my application but should only fill in the correct CAS reference number(see an extract of my CAS statement from my school)

Am I good to go my Bosses??

@Mhoreh, no mind me joor. I am working on a paper that I want to publish in IEEE Journal, been busy.

To the house, I got an approval email from the embassy last night saying

"Your application has been approved and the visa has been issued. We aim to return passports to the VAC within 2 working days. You can check the location of your passport at www.ukvac-ng.com."

Thank you so much for the support, advise and help. I am eternally grateful. For those who want extra information, I submitted in Abuja on the 27th of August and got the approval on the 4th of September i.e. 5 working days.

TeamclicksAir: if your program is over a year then you can book one-way, however if anything less then you need a return. you might be able to cancel and get your funds back or extend for a fee.
Royal maroc is no different and its worse for tall people.
Ah that's the end of Maroc for me then sad, I value my leg room cos I'm over 6ft+. But the price for one way tho shocked

Bros flying Iberia is like flying Molue oo, forget its a Spanish airline. My brother had a horrible experience with them just in May this year, I'll suggest you take Air Maroc since its very cheap so you wouldn't be too disappointed with average service.
