Travel / Re: Spain Schengen Visa by hunee: 9:08am On Mar 09
It is not compulsory to pay for Hotels for spain. DO YOUR NORMAL RESERVATION
msbaileyz:
Hello

Since paying for hotel reservations is crucial for a Spanish visa.

Can I just pay for a night deposit, balance to be paid on arrival?

Plus I’ve had a Spanish visa refusal in the past and am a frequent flyer through Italy, is it possible to get a Spanish one year visa?

But pls don't think of going into production presently with the present Nigeria situation , instead U can lease it out for any big manufacturing company then, then sign ur agreement with them till when things balance back in Nigeria.
Exactly 💯
I no go even advise my enemy to go into production now.

Life is both a journey and a process. If you are well beyond some landmarks and busy asking some who have not started the journey how to continue with your navigation then, something is wrong with you.
How do you justify a final year student in the Uni. asking a primary 3 pupil how to prepare for his semester exam?

Well , you can as well wonder why youths are becoming part of the system. Let the man breathe biko and let him ask questions.

You have the resources to build a warehouse.

You have the resources to go into manufacturing.

And you now come to Nairaland asking what to do. A platform populated by youths that are still being fed.

With all due respect sir, why not ask for a brain first.

Sorry sir if I sound rude.

Youths also have their own contributions. Everyone's opinion matters, be respectful and responsible.

Bro, since u have all kind of drinks distributors arround u, convert ur wearhouse into event center. But still do ur reached with the location b4 u set up even center.
Event centers are not sited just anywhere. The likeness of it's thriving in that environment is slim. I think he should do a long term lease and just relax.

Moneyboyz, too many ideas I can suggest you. But first feasibility study has to be done in that environment. So far so good, everyone has spoken well, but I don't think any of those businesses will thrive there.
What part of sango Otta is this place. Remember there is also the issue of road network in Ogun State , so do not consider a logistics business, however Ogun State is a business hub for manufacturers especially Sango axis and Sagamu because of it's closeness to Agbara and South west on the other end.
Why not consider leasing that place out to one of these big companies around there. All you need do is inform the rental guys. You own the building, just do a long term lease , sign an agreement and relax . Every 5 years, your alert is sure.

Lastly, Ogun State has a very good business fortune, but doing business in Ogun State is not easy. There are alot of limitations.

Goodmorning

Lol. I used Intercape, those people slow die. I'm travelling by Easter.
Ok, Easter is ok. If I will be in SA will let you know. Safe
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 11:32pm On Mar 06
Lol. I had botswanans around me on my last trip, they said 4hrs, whichever way, maybe you enter Council taxi for Marabstad grin
Africankel:

It's actually more than 4 hours. I think I left JHB by 10:30am and arrived Gaborone by 7pm. They have speed limits so the travel time is longer than what Google map says.

There's really nothing to see in the capital. Those interested in wild life will have to drive 13 - 15 hours up north to Karsana, it is amazing!!!
Yeah, i learnt they have good wild life. On my next sa trip, i will do all those regions hopefully. when are you traveling kel?
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 11:03pm On Mar 06
Maybe we should begin to encourage those intending SA applicants to consider Botswana too. It is just 4hr journey by road to SA. lol On my Last trip to SA, met so many Botswanans. Kel to flashed my memory back.
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 10:49pm On Mar 06
Ok, its in Mai. Nice, I will follow up. Thank you boss
Africankel:

There's no fixed validity. But single entry has a maximum validity of one month, and three months for multiple. I paid for multiple entry the last time but was only given two weeks to enter (I was stamped in at the border for 5 days, coz that's how long I told them I was staying), But you cannot stay beyond 30 days.

This time I paid for single entry, but told the Consular to give me a minimum of one month to enter Bots (unlike the two weeks I got before), we'd actually become friends.

The visa is not sticker, just a stamp, same with Namibia and Jamaica.

Address is Oguta Lake, Maitama. I can't remember the house number.
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 10:48pm On Mar 06
Yes, best advise. Do physical submission via vfs, help him with the link @kel, thanks
Africankel:
I'm actually not a fan of eVisa, thus have little or no knowledge how it works, @hunee can help in this regard. But since your travel date is in May, you should apply for a sticker visa as you have ample time to get it approved.

Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 10:16pm On Mar 06
Visa validity is how many months, is it a sticker visa like sa too,Thanks for the number, i will call soonest. Can you also give a precise detail on their Address, where in Abuja is the embassy.
Africankel:

The Embassy is Abuja, little or no information on the Internet. But here's their telephone number:- 07034103830

Application is fairly straightforward... Basic visa documents. Hotel, flight, 6 months statement, evidence of work, two passport photos, itinerary (very important), introduction letter. Visa fee is 10k+ for single entry, 16k+ for multiple - they however advise that as a tourist, always apply for single entry, coz they don't see why a tourist needs a multiple entry visa.
Thanks alot.

Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hunee: 9:10am On Mar 05
Nne leave francr, they are notorious for such refusals. Re apply via spain route
Marcgrace:
Hello, has anyone had an experience with France visa refusals due to previously unused visa ?

In 2023, I got a one month France visa but I wasn't able to travel. After then my France visas have been refused based on, "There are reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory of the Member States before the visa expires".
Although I have been to France once on a 3 month multiple visa of which I stayed only a month and returned back.

I do not understand why my visa refusals are based on reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory of the Member States before the visa expires while I have already had France visas twice ?
