I checked today and noticed slots for Long term category are available fully. My best guess is that the Job Seeker category has more applicants hence more difficult to get. I did Long term so it wasn't that difficult for me
If applying for Job seeker, your application should be like this. The only thing that can change is your preferred location.

This time around, we agree on same terms. We need to call out these people at the helm of affairs to do more. Everything is centered around right policies and legislations. It is only when it concerns them they come to rant, how many times have people complained about placing our country's passport high, they will not listen
Zoey1:
Denying someone visa doesn’t necessarily have to be the fault of the applicant.
Hence sometimes a situation gets upturned during appeal or review.
1. It depends on the mood of the officer.
2. Season and how much time the officer has to spare. (I know consulates that are claiming to be under staffed, how is that the applicant’s business? Are we not paying for the services?)
3. If an officer says you do not satisfy him… it doesn’t mean the application isn’t satisfactory.
It’s his or her own personal problem.
That’s why Italy would deny someone and same person would apply immiediately to France and get approved.
4. Finally, as much as you think our country is wobbled, some of these officers are as corrupt as your politicians.
Who do you think visa racketeers remit to?
They have contacts within those walls.

Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hunee: 11:21pm On Jun 24
Hello, they can deny anyone a visa. Even if the person serves 100 years in a foreign country, I have seen someone who served as a military personnel on short service in the US. He was denied a visa too.

We should always ring it to our ears, visa approvals are at the discretion of the consular.

A top tennis player and the team from Nigeria was denied france visas too last year despite an official request.

We should ask our government to do better.

Thank you.

Yes, benin , you can get it. No, you can not use it for South Africa. I am not sure of the cost. Further guidance from an immigration officer is advised. Have a good day

Thanks i appreciate, but how much is ecowas passport now, and can i use it in south Africa and can i get it in any immigration office like in Benin city
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 9:42am On Jun 19
There is only one passport for traveling globally which is international passport. However, ecowas has a passport too which you can get almost immediately at the immigration offiice. so try talk to an officer for guidance. Thank you

Applications cannot be made be proxy. Family applications can however be made by the HEAD of the family.

Unfortunately, I do not have any contact.
Travel / Re: Egypt Visa From Nigeria by hunee: 11:45am On Jun 09
Thanks Kel for timely response. I also would like to know if the submission can be done by proxy or one has to be on ground. Kindly confirm or if you have a contact there. Please drop
Africankel:

I haven't applied yet. However, I can confirm that:-

1. Egypt only issue tourist visas valid for three months. You pay for your preferred choice single or multiple entry.

2. Yes, it is sticker.

3. Your passport is submitted along with your documents.

@Africankel
Africankel:

It takes at least three weeks to process. Visa fee is 100USD for single entry, and 155USD for multiple entry. Payment MUST be made in dollars, cash.

Yes, you can do it yourself. Find attached the required documents. I took this photo at the Embassy about a month ago.
How you dey?
Did you get the visa? how many months were you granted? is it a sticker visa, did you drop your passport on submission of your documents or it was later?
Kindly reply.

I have already uploaded the documents. It is now requesting for an additional documents of the 1st Notice Letter. I have written the letter but there is no portal to load it is saying 'Currently not available, unfortunately no supporting documents available at present'. That they have encountered a service Error that I should send an email to HACC@dha.gov.za and quote 4910993, and this number keeps changing anytime I log into the application. I have written several emails to them but no response yet.

Please kindly advise. It is very urgent.

Thank you, God bless.

bros, this issue is as a result of the file of the documents. try to reduce the version and work with the 5mb max given. Read the instructions on the upload page carefully.

Please I was also asked to provide a required document- 1st Notice Letter. I guess it should be a letter of notice for a visa application. I have written the letter but there is nowhere to upload, and it is saying "We have encountered a problem. Please send an email to hacc@dha.gov.za and quote number:4910925" I have sent several emails and quoted different numbers because each time I log in the number keeps changing. and there is nowhere to make payment, because it did not allow to. Please how do I proceed from here?

Thank you and God bless.
