[quote author=vaxx post=56653979]i acccept there is high taste for oyinbo child in ghana. You need to understand that it is largely becuse of social class. But nigerians too are not exempted. We both value and love white. Though i dont accept this veiw. The whiteman is been look upon for aids in africa when we ourselves has failed to do it. So this blame is not meant for ghana only. Majority of the black skin value white men quote] but really is there anything wrong in marrying a Caucasian when you know it's you right preference,? people just have a notion of pointing fingers when they are wrose off. day in day out you see young naija guys at Ikoyi registery doing sharp marriage to any thing with the light skin on! you see them showing bonndless love even with their ailment and plus size kilos.all for that visa, even if it's akistan. they will do everything to burst out. but I don't see anyone making mention of that? dudes spending previous recious time picking up on irrelevant discussion. the thing baffle me. if this is the kind of negative energy personality you want me to spend my life with. I'd gladly marry a causaian |

pauljumbo: lol you guys are at it again. it's a no brainier that despite being an English speaking country majority of you fail English in weac exam's. this is a poorly attempted hook news by Nigerian brown envelope journalist and blogger's , despite the flaw's being obvious a lot of you still take it hook line and sinker because of one word attaching two subjects "beg" . better that this news is just for making jest than the real deal, else its pathetic.. this initiative is a clear plan by the Ghana government to become the most friendly business country in Africa and drive industrialization , trade and revenue as stated in their manifesto.. over the months the news articles covered it as trade with other countries, but when it came to Nigeria it turns to aid! what kind of demented thinking is this . |

Talkwell:oho! or what of row your boat ! these rhymes are an all time classic that reflects on our life journey on Earth. how is that evil?...what of our village songs that encourage workers to be happy and do their work deligently? it glorifies the devil too? that's why you don't really see creative contents from this part of the world. compared to our peers in in developed countries. they find it hard to think out of the box. creativity knows know bounds. and it's not that we are lacking in it. we are resisting it. there are more pressing issues that Illuminati. we have indeginious secret cults and coven's.. negative environmental energy and all manner of imagined evil under our nose. which has played key roles in shaping our society.. but some people still have time to think of one that's not even having an effect on their life. a show of hypocrisy and shallow Thinking 1 Like |

Destined2win:this is a daft and biased statement, so a song dedicated to Mother's or about life is of the devil too. so it's safe to say that the text in songs of Solomon that glorify the woman's body is of the devil too. |

arinzeejikonye:I said earlier that I try to avoid such threads cos of the level of immaturity that reeks out of it, are we here to learn or to pick words and criticize. I got mad love for Nigerians and I even have more Nigerian friends than Ghanaians . so when I come up here and see some degratory statements and half truths it piss me off. you try to correct people and its considered an attempt to affront. like how do you learn which such an uncultured manner. both Ghana an Nigeria with their immense wealth and intellectual resource are still developing nations. isn't it mediocre to then think of punching weights amongst ourselves when there is a bigger picture. if we are fully developed there will be no contesting the facts on here . the whole world will know. as we are only 30 mins by air from each other. |

forgiveness:lol.save your depiction's of Lagos or abuja as an Eldorado as I know Nigeria in and out, so easy with the exaggerations. there is really nothing trendy and vibrant about these state's. same old things there.. not friendly and safe, hard to conduct legit biz , it has always been like that. the economic downturn turned it to something else. even as s foreigner I felt the pain as one of my biz went down. so don't try to exaggerate . I know these cities very well. 1 Like |

vaxx:point! port harcourt even falls short comparing it with tema because the ph city has failed to utilize its full potential, a lot of the potential earnings goes down to Lagos.. just like dangote building a refinery in Lagos instead of the region where the raw material is produced.. its not just about patriotism.. people should use their brains! |

Nowenuse: Are you here to learn or to keep finding words from my mouth to argue about? You know you confirm my point earlier that a lot of nigerians are ethnocentric and chauvinistic, if you are really interested in knowing the positive sides the web articles you munched from provided the info i stated and much more, if you read it you won't come up telling me this. and what does the size of a city have to do with the revenue being generated in a city..?? is it not the activities in the city that brings revenue. smh. |

Nowenuse: well i will forgive your statement as it shows that you are less informed about the economy of the city tema plays host to Ghana biggest city port, currently the second busiest port in the region second to lagos, and current expansions to become the biggest and modernised in sub saharan africa, and was built exclusively for port and logistic services, the first master planned city in west africa which served as a success model for the likes of abuja. it serves as one of the biggest industrial hubs in africa, Abuja is not an industrial hub.. its the seat of the nation with mixed use development and light industry, this is a heavy duty city with industrial products including aluminium, steel, processed fish, refined petroleum, textile, chemicals, food products, and cement. and the icing on the topping- tema is dubbed the centre of the world! let that sink in. In a informed and well opinionated circle, you saying accra has no economic vibrance will result into a burst of laughter, and will make you look stupid, accra is considered as a hub in west africa.. the gateway to west africa! the country's economic and administrative hub, Accra is a centre for manufacturing, marketing, finance, insurance, and transportation the city hosts the 4 biggest stock exchange in africa, record breaking modern structures.. an airtropolis , something that has being in the books of nigerian aviation authority but failed to actualize, a vibrant night life and presents west africa first educational hub.. with universities raking over a billion dollars from nigeria students a lone, this is a city considered to house the fastest growing number of millionaires in africa! the forefront of medical tourism in west africa, set to become sub saharan offshore financial capital. West African ict hub with one of the tallest building in Africa. joining the host of konza tech city Kenya and silicon valley. to bring the age of ict development closer to Africans .. make no mistake 3 Likes |

forgiveness:well having lived in lagos i can relate to some of your views, the aflao border road is still under construction just like the mile2 - badagry road which forms part of the west african highway, but i must say that there has been great improvement on the road and alternate routes. i tend to disagree that the urbanization problem of lagos was done by the military alone. it's more of a maintenance culture that needs to be encouraged among the populace, the military regime is responsible for the bridges and flyovers . the likes of third mainland to carter bridge.. the high rises along marina to cms. to the national theatre igamu this was done in the military era.. in the wake of the oil boom, but more could have been done...the problem with nigerians is maintenance culture.. lagos is witnessing what a lot of developing resilient cities like accra is going through.. the rural urban drift and poor urban planning.. which can be attributed to the government and state governments failing to create regional economic hubs just like lagos, tema is one of my best cities in west africa, the first master planned city in west africa. with proper light and drainage connections and pavements. the port city still stands the test of time till today.. it will interest you to know that the city tema has so much potential being that it's the center of the earth! i tell you! imagine wif this potential where to be in dubai..but nevertheless , we are pace setters and will make it happen.. plans are ongoing to transform the place into a world class city and crown it up with an iconic tower with some receptive facilities.. I would only compare accra with lagos as abuja is a newly planned city and port harcourt even with the oil service has no chance .. and even if i were to add abuja ..accra is doing pretty well as its listed amongst the world resilient cities and new master planned districts like the eko atlantic city and cenetary are being built.. accra is also a shadow of itself compared to its real potential but if i were to take a place to live i will take accra hands down.. i value life and security.there is this sense of freedom that leaves me when am in the streets of lagos.you know the saying.. shine your eyes when you live for lagos city.. that attitude is not welcoming.. i cherish every moment that i can be calm and feel secure that to an extent my life and property is safe.. not to talk of the light issue ![]() |
