We received one of my kids’ visa/passport without the immigration letter enclosed.
I’ve called UKVI and they said I’ll receive a response within 15 working days. Ha! we’re billed to travel before then.
Would there be any issues at the UK border if we arrive there without his own letter? The rest of the family have theirs.
Has anyone entered the UK without presenting this letter to the immigration officials?

I’d appreciate a response to this.

I must have received about 6 non straightforward messages, even though i don't see any reason why my application shouldn't be straightforward. I had only attempted to travel out of nigeria, once before now, and it was successful. I travelled to the UK on a 6 months visit visa, and i spent just 2 weeks, before returning to Nigeria, back in 2017. I believe my application was processed as standard, on purpose, because the latest resumption date on my CAS says nov 9. Maybe they didn't feel i was in a hurry. We'll never know. The non straightforward messages is to stop me from applying for a refund. No wahala.

You do not have to wait till 8th of October. You can attempt walk-in. They will attend to you, after attending to those with appointment. I witnessed this on my appointment date.

I tried booking a date for TB Test and got a date of 8th of October. Would you advise I wait till after receiving the test result to pay for visa application or I can go ahead and start the application? I am trying to avoid the increased IHS surcharge cost from 5th October.

Another question, my school required they check my financial evidence before issuing my CAS, they even had to make me reprint the bank statement due to some issues. They are now satisfied with the financial evidence which is a combined account statement, one personal and one joint account with a family member of same surname (my uncle). Do you think during the interview (if any) questions would be asked why I am having a joint account? and do I have to prove what percentage of it is mine?

You can't pay at the centre. Maybe if u enlist the help of supposed agents outside TLS, maybe yes. Expect to be charged premium. I paid for priority, through an agent that has a dollar card. I transferred 135k to him, and i gave him my login. NB; it took a day for him to do it, cos he had to source for dollar. So if you don't mind, that's an option.

I do not believe this. I believe the explanation is simpler than that. The price goes up just because the travel date is getting closer, not because you viewed it mutiple times.

Agent helps you to do what you should have done for yourself which is search for cheap ticket from the airline website.

They spent their time figuring out itineraries that will lead to cheaper ticket cost, anyone with time and patient will get the same price from the airline.

Airline websites including train and bus websites are build in such a way that when you visit the website more than once searching for ticket it increases the price of that ticket.

This is why sometimes people turn on their incognito tap so as to stop sharing of your browsing history.

I have being traveling since early 2000s and i have never got my ticket from agent because i find them very expensive and stressful to deal with when things goes wrong.

First application to Uk, No none straightforward message, no second interview and also didn’t get the BRP message.
