It depends on the length of time the employer state they will take care of his accommodation. If it's a month maintenance (most common) then you will sure need POF

Whew. This has been gruelling so far.

Started the journey from student visa. At the point I was contemplating which university to pick and pay the deposit, offer letter came with some conditions which included TB test. Apparently, someone didn't clear tb test after COS so I needed to do the test before sponsorship certificate. Did it at ikeja.

Biometrics on 14th September. Abuja TLS. Priority.
Decision on the 16th.
Mail and BRP letter 20th.
Collection mail 23rd
Dhl delivered the passport to me yesterday evening with my vignette.
Waiting for dependents' own which was standard application.

The info here and the student visa thread is worth gold if you can read, jot or screenshot, and research.

Ps. I don't know if it's just me. But suddenly to resign from my job here and just travel suddenly seems hard for me to do.

The passport upload was not an issue because they themselves apparently scan it at the VAC. Didn't even mention it to anybody

Visa collected at DHL office today 29th August. Main applicant.

The dependant (her Husband)

Received by VAC 13th Of September
Visa received at home through DHL 15th September.
That is 20 days after the main applicant.

Biometric 30th August.
DMC 30th August
Visa Received by VAC 13th September

My younger sister did IELTS UKVI Academic.
My elder sister did ECCTIS UKVI NARIC(she didn't write any exams . She just sent her university BSc transcript).
They both got COS and Visa for Care work tier 2 visa

If you are in Lagos, I will advise you go to Alagbon CID Police station. Speaking from personal experience payment on that portal might not likely go.

Keep refreshing and it can take days... I saw some dates closer poping up mid night. But also through out the day. It pop up but goes quickly too

If you want ...upload all yours kid(s) birth certificate in the main applicant application. If that will ease your mind . I told my cousin to do that

But yes there no place on the form for that for main applicant, however on the spouse dependent there is a place they ask if you are responsible for any other person... the kid can be captured there

Home office is for visa. Only complete the relevant information on the form and ensure you upload all the mandatory document ie English , police, tb, bank statements (if needed) etc

Pls on the form no provision was made for the name of my kid, I only have that of my spouse?
How will I indicate that i have a kid, so that they won't have problem while coming?
