Lol, so you accept and acknowledged that unarmed Nigerian youths were killed by Nigerian troops in cold blood. You've really shown who you are. A person with only personal interests and no sympathy for your countrymen.

Well, Nigerians are not apes. One day, the cups will be filled and it will overflow.

At Lekki, the troops faced thousands of Nigerians but now you're facing millions of Nigerians who believes that their mandate was stolen.
You also forget millions of Nigerians are also for the troops and several other millions are just neutral and watching how it goes. grin grin grin

Please don't kill yourself for nothing. Everybody in Nigeria have enough problems.

The truth is we won't even have time to remember you.

For those shouting armed thugs didn't allow people vote. It is still on record that Lagos state for example have 13,535 polling unit and only 28 reported cases of destruptions and electoral Violence.

Kogi state is a major state that is known for electoral Violence but this time only 7 polling unit were affected and the results from the 7 units were cancelled out of thousands.

I don't know how anyone that went to School will see this as a major issue that will affect the outcome. Please remember the difference between the winner and the 2nd candidate is almost 2 million votes and the third almost 3 million votes.

I don't know why you people are attacking Kabe1.

All candidates got votes from the zones as predicted.

The fact that many of the people from 1 or 2 regions hate Tinubu doesn't mean he's not loved in the other 4 regions.

The winner won in 3 regions and had very good votes from a 4th region. Something other candidates can never boast of and never disputed.

The election is one of the best Nigeria have ever conducted. I've never seen someone who came third claiming he won an election. He didn't even meet the constitutional requirements of 25% in 24 states. The second candidate too didn't meet the requirement as well but was able to get in 21 states. The winner met the requirement in 30 states out of 36 states.

The worst election in Nigeria's history is the 2003 election. Anyone who is old enough and saw it, would agree.

Exactly. An election that produced more votes than total registered voters in Ogun state.

Obasanjo is the biggest fraud.

I disagree with you on this,Ebonyi state Governor started and executed so many World class projects under 8yrs,same to Akpabio that constructed Uyo Township stadium,Donald Duke that built World class Tourism Site called Tinapa and others.

Go back and ask those old enough to tell you about the governor before Akpabio. He planned the akwa ibom you see today. He started everything and Akpabio was only executing what he met.

Apart from the stadium what is the world class project in the state? They mainly build roads that was planed by privious Administration. Every state that support continuity always benefit. Udom can't show much despite being the state with highest allocation.

Building road no be world class investment. If it's about that Tinubu built alot as well as every other governors after him.

Where are the world class hospitals, sea ports, airports, industrial hubs, tech hubs, free trade zone, etc. They are not exiting. Only Lagos can.

Anambra airport is not event world class.
If you don't know the meaning of world class project please Google it.

Please what is the world class project in Ebonyi?

Tell me one world class project Tinubu started and finished.

Is my English the problem or you don't know what "world calls, started and finished" means?

The mistake you are making is no world class project is done by one administration anywhere in the world. Planning and design alone will take you first tenure. Getting funds and allocation of such contract would take another tenure.

We are talking of projects in excess of Ten billion dollars. Moreso, most of his project were PPP. How much is the state generating? How long have Dangote been building just 1 refinery? It's already over 10 years. Eco Atlantic is over 10 years and even lekki port is already over 15 years. Let's not talk of the intra city rail.

Even European countries with access to funds don't carry out such project within that time frame. Only China can and you know why.

Even federal government can't compare with Lagos state when it comes to this. His development plan was to last 25years.

We can see what Fashola did, he build a world class transport BRT system.

Ambode came, built another world class BRT system from Oshodi to Abuke egba with a world class terminal as oshodi.
Samwolu, Fashola and Ambode together started and completed the Lagos Blue line with world class stations.

What is that world class project we can attribute to Tinubu in Lagos?

If anyone can show me any world class infrastructural project that Tinubu started and completed as a governor without having to link anyone to Sanwolu, Ambode or Fashola, I will vote for Tinubu.

I will start campaigning for him henceforth.

Note: Please world class project doesn't include buidling few roads. Show me a project that is not usual in Nigeria

The image below in addition to LASMA, LAWMA, EDUCATION, HEALTH FACILITY, ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION, PROPER PLAN FOR INTRA CITY RAIL LINE, WATER TRANSPORT, FREE TRADE ZONE, EKO ATLANTIC CITY, ETC.

LET'S CUT THE STORY SHORT.

Have you ever asked yourself why LEKKI down to EPE is completely different from mile 2 to Alaba?

YOU SEE EVERYTHING FROM LEKKI DOWNWARD WAS BECAUSE OF TINUBU. AS AT 1996 WHEN I WAS IN METHODIST BOY HIGH SCHOOL IN VI. I know that environment very well, There was no single development after VI. It was nothing more than village. If you are familiar with some old settlement in Ajah you should get what am saying. Someone made it happen and that person is Tinubu.

Fashola tried to replicate the same Idea in Ikorodu but we can see the results as well as the difference.

My brother Lagos was a complete SLUM before Tinubu. I mean every part of it and local government. The only exception was Ikoyi and VI.

Today we are proud of Lagos today because of Tinubu And his plan. The huge revenue generated today was 600 Million Naira monthly. It wasn't even enough to pay workers not to talk of building roads or renovating schools or hospital.

A lot can be said but let's just cut it short. All his project have always seen continuity from other governors after him. Till date his master plan is still in use.

Politics / Re: Nigeria Can Repeat The Sunak & Macron Examples By Electing A Young President by iblawi(m): 4:40am On Dec 27, 2022
Afro3:
Nigeria can repeat the Rishi Sunak and Emmanuel Macron examples by electing a young president -- Accord candidate, Prof. Imumolen

Nigeria can jump on the bandwagon of the ongoing global fad in which a new generation of leaders are taking over the reins of power in many countries of the world by electing a president of youth extraction in next year's general elections.

The recent emergence of 42-year old Rishi Sunak as Britain's Prime Minister, exactly five years after France did the same in electing Emmanuel Macron as president, has supported the growing belief that youth is the way to go in a world now fast jettisoning the old order.
Accord presidential candidate, Professor Christopher Imumolen, a youth who is gunning for Nigeria's highest office in next year's presidential elections, says a better signal could not have been sent as to the direction the world is now heading with the latest developments in Britain and France, insisting that it only further reinforced the position he'd often held on the matter.

"Those who have had me talk ceaselessly about the benefits of allowing a young person take the reins of power as Nigeria's president have often wondered why I have been so passionate," Professor Imumolen said on Tuesday.

"But the truth is that we need a new generation of youthful leaders who would be ready to give their all for the overall betterment of this country.
"The emergence of Rishi Sunak as Britain's Prime Minister is a significant message to the countries of the world, particularly Nigeria that the era of relegating the youth in the general scheme of things is over.

"If countries like France where Emmanuel Macron has been president since 2017, and Britain with all their experience and technological know-how, can entrust the affairs of their countries in the hands of young, upwardly mobile professionals, then I don't see why we should be different.

"For those who don't know, Macron became president at the age of 39 -- the same age with me -- and has since become the only individual in French history since two decades to win a second term in office after being re-elected in April this year.

"What about Rishi Sunak? He is only 42 and the first person of colour to hold the office of Prime Minister, Britain. These examples clearly buttresses my often held beliefs that we must go the way of the youth if we desire a refreshing change from a chequered past of underachievement as a country.

"So, I'd use this opportunity to once again urge Nigerians to vote me, a youth who is vibrant, mentally sound, healthy and ready to change the status quo and deliver to them the true dividends of democracy.

"I want them to check my profile and make up their minds as we all journey towards 2023. Let's do it the French and British way. Let's vote for youth. Let's vote Professor Christopher Imumolen as Nigeria's next president," he added.
Peter Obi is almost double their age. No young candidate in Nigeria currently.

Secondly, they didn't come from a structureless party. They are both from major rulling parties.

Just to set record straight because there a 2 Intercity rail lines in Lagos.

The old narrow gauge rail and the new Lagos -Ibadan standard guage rail are the only intercity rail in Lagos.

The one he posted was intracity rail(blue line).

The red line (another intracity rail) is almost ready as well.

Lurker4Long:
Technical Problems Ground Myanmar’s JF-17 Fighter Jets Bought From China

Most of the newly acquired Chinese and Pakistan-made JF-17 fighter jets that the Myanmar regime has taken delivery of have been grounded due to technical malfunctions, according to analysts and former Myanmar Air Force pilots who monitor the junta’s air capabilities.

The JF-17 fighters—lightweight multi-role combat aircraft jointly manufactured by China and Pakistan—that the Myanmar Air Force has added to its fleet have structural cracks and other technical issues, they told The Irrawaddy.

The aircraft, which are supposed to be capable of interception, ground attack and bombing missions, have turned out to be unfit for service, and the Myanmar military lacks the technical expertise to fix the problems, they added.

Myanmar reportedly inked a deal in early 2016 to procure 16 JF-17s from China at a cost of US$25 million each. A first batch of six aircraft were delivered to the Myanmar Air Force in 2018, but details about the other 10 are not yet clear. The deal made Myanmar the first country outside China and Pakistan to buy JF-17s.

Myanmar regime chief Min Aung Hlaing put four of the malfunctioning JF-17 fighters into commission at a ceremony at the Meiktila air base in December 2018. Two more were commissioned in December 2019 as the Air Force celebrated the 72nd anniversary of its founding.

Jointly manufactured by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex and Chengdu Aerospace Corporation of China, the JF-17 was initially designed to balance India’s Air Force. They are equipped with Western avionics and powered by the Russian Klimov RD 93 aeroengine, and set up on a China-made airframe, according to analysts. They can be armed with air-to-air mid-range guided missiles, 80-mm and 240-mm rockets, and 500-lb bombs.

The critical part of the JF-17 avionics is the China-made KLJ-7 Al radar, which has poor accuracy and maintenance problems, analysts say. The aircraft does not even have an effective beyond-visual-range (BVR) missile or airborne interception radar.

Malfunction of the Weapon Mission Management Computer has caused launch zones of BVR air-to-air missiles to shrink during combat exercises, according to experts.

Furthermore, the airframe is vulnerable to damage, especially in its wingtips and hardpoints, when the aircraft encounters strong gravitational forces, according to a former pilot of the Myanmar Air Force.

Problems after purchase

As the avionics and electronics installed in JF-17s are made with parts from Western countries, the Myanmar military purchased the fighter jets through middlemen between 2015 and 2020. Following the coup, the European Union imposed sanctions against the Myanmar military and arms brokers, and the Air Force now has no spare parts for the JF-17s, according to analysts and former pilots.

The trade embargo also makes it impossible for the Myanmar military regime to directly buy missiles and bombs for its JF-17s. The regime meanwhile has forged a partnership with the Pakistan military, sending weapons system officers from the Air Force and Air Defense units to Pakistan for training from time to time.

For the Myanmar Air Force to carry out deadly air strikes on ethnic armed revolutionary organizations and civilians, it mainly needs air-to-surface missiles, and it reportedly held talks with Pakistan to order these as well as bombs and rockets. Around May this year, a cargo plane from Pakistan loaded with JF-17 spare parts landed in Myanmar.

Technicians from the Pakistan Air Force made a secret visit to Myanmar in September during which they set up a JF-17 simulator for pilots of the Myanmar Air Force at Pathein air base, and also solved some technical problems. A JF-17 weapons system officer however said the weapons system of the JF-17 is too technically complex for Myanmar pilots to handle, according to former pilots.

Current situation

Thanks to the JF-17s’ poor accuracy, the Myanmar Air Force still can’t use them for combat four years after they were commissioned. This has led the Air Force to rely on Russian-made Yak-130 and MiG-29 fighter jets and China-made K-8 fighters, said analysts.

While the Myanmar Air Force has spent a large sum to procure malfunctioning aircraft from China and Pakistan, arms broker Dr. Naing Htut Aung has earned millions of US dollars from the deal, The Irrawaddy has learned.

At the 72nd anniversary event for the Myanmar Air Force, Min Aung Hlaing boasted that the Myanmar Air Force started with Tiger Moth planes, but now has hangars filled with modern aircraft including supersonic jet fighters, transportation aircraft, and assault and transportation helicopters.

He made no mention of the Air Force’s unusable JF-17 fighters.

https://www.irrawaddy.com/news/burma/technical-problems-ground-myanmars-jf-17-fighter-jets-bought-from-china.html

This is as good as saying SAAF Saab gripens are grounded due to Technical Problems.

They are man made machine that requires maintenance, training and proper funding.
