Looks like the rant of someone bereft of any more points or ideas

I don't know why you think you're better than everyone here.

If you were intelligent, you should be looking into why everyone is against your idea. Instead you're trying to force your crazy mentality on every other person here.

Algerian and Ugandan MI-28s.

Together with the Egyptian Apaches and Kamovs, the best attack helicopters on the continent, in my opinion.

Egypt holds the record for me.

Apache and KA 52 (regarded best by the two most advanced countries and place of origin)

followed closely by Nigeria

AH-1z and T129

Then Algeria MI-28.

South Africa

Oga simple question, his are those commodities raw materials and which industries use the as raw materials. You are now beating around the bush like CBN.

Which further explanation do you need? Finished product from one industry is raw material in another.

I've mentioned hospitality and food industries for all the items you listed except cement that fall under construction.

You people are quick to criticize instead of seeking knowledge.

How is wheel barrow, toothpick, canned meat, beef, palm oil, cement, rice, frozen chicken etc raw materials and which industries use them as raw materials in Nigeria.

Everything you mentioned above will boast the hospitality and food industries except cement for construction sector.

Name the item that is a raw material in the list.

I dey wait

As simple as nail or head pan is, It's a major input in the construction sector. Be it wood work, concrete work, interior design etc.

Poultry products are input to some sectors as well. Most of the item are major things used in our day to day life.

Issues like cement being more expensive in Nigeria than imported ones too can help reduce the extortion from some manufacturer like Dangote. When prices drop, every sector needing cement as input will get a boast.

CBN said that the policy will benefit local production and aid employment, I ask, how?

Some items on the list are needed as raw materials/ input to some producers. They can now get input at cheaper prices and increase production.

I foresee greater involvement of "externals"

Wagner is the only external

All neighbouring countries are in support of ECOWAS except Mali and they are both landlocked.

Algeria already declared support and another delegation sent to Libya already. Togo, Benin Nigeria and Chad are all against the coup.

I don't foresee any fighter jet coming from anywhere or heavy military equipment.

No cargo plane will even attempt to take such risk. That guy will step down eventually.

Make a guesstimate of how many sorties needed to enforce a NFZ for maybe a month

I don't think our L39s or Tucano carry Air to Air weapons so just F7/JF17?

NAF don't need air to air missiles. Niger doesn't even have a MBT not to talk of fighter jets. They will only have AA guns at most with 6 helicopters for different roles.

Yes sir, that's better.
But at least, they should give him ultimatum to conduct another election because if we are being sincere, the people were really about the coup.

Personally, I am against any intra/inter military crisis that might linger in West Africa especially our doorstep... because that would be a fertile ground for the Western parasites to explore again.
We must hold on to the gains we have made so far grin grin grin

No please. That is what was happening before now and many of them have been taking advantage of overthrowing government and later agreeing to conduct election which will be massively rigged. Like winning 90+%.

It has to stop and the president must be allowed to continue his government. This will just be seen as distraction.

Definitely, he will have to leave. President Tinubu won't have it for sure.

However, I don't think it will be through kenetic force. I think it will purely be diplomatic force. There's too much at stake.

I even forgot to mention the sanctions Nigeria alone can impose on Niger from electricity to imported goods, free movement of trade, etc. Too many ways to cripple their economy and turn the people against him in no time.

Even when it comes to use of force. Niger republic have 12,000 personnels which is less that half the size of civil defense not to talk of the army , Navy or air force.

All this is excluding other neighbouring country forces. We don't even need to carry equipment over distances.

Very unlikely for ECOMOG to invade Niger. I don't think they would want to risk war because any Military coup more than 24hrs is already a successful coup.
The ultimatum should be for another election where the people can have the chance to select another leader who won't sold them out to France nor Russia nor China.

It was easy for Nigeria to single handedly invade Banjul and unseat Yahyah Jameh because their People and Military cooperated.

It is not same here with Niger. The people of Niger are infact happy with this Coup. We all saw their jubilation video all over Niamey.

The West would very much like this to degenerate into war in West Africa. I don't think our leaders would fall for it.

That guy will be forced to step down no matter what. Sitting next to Nigeria and ECOWAS chairman that really want to prove to people that elected him that they were right.

The international pressure is something else this time.

Believe me that guy will step down because Jameh of Gambia did more than this before running away.

The Nigerian Air Force says the Federal Government is working towards taking delivery of the 12 AH-1Z cobra attack helicopters being procured from the United States. The Federal Government had paid about $1bn for the helicopters to combat insecurity.

The spokesperson for NAF, Commodore Ayodele Famuyiwa, told our correspondent in a telephone interview on Thursday that the equipment would assist the military in fighting insecurity.
