Religion / Re: The Allegedly Corrupted Scripture? Questions For Muslims. by ibnmonsur: 10:42am On Sep 21, 2015 |
47516 : The Gospels that are extant nowadays
were written after the time of ‘Eesa (peace be
upon him) and have been tampered with a
great deal
qstn
It is well known among us Muslims that
Allaah revealed the Gospel (Injeel) to ‘Eesa
(peace be upon him), but when I studied
some things about Christianity, they told me
that the Gospel was not brought by the
Messiah, rather it was written by the
disciples of the Messiah after the crucifixion
(or after Allaah raised him up to Him, as it
says in the Qur’aan). How can we reconcile
between the two views?.
Praise be to Allaah.
There is no contradiction between the two
views such that we would need to ask how
they can be reconciled. Rather the reason
why the questioner is confused is that he is
mixing up two things that we must believe in
and that are both true, praise be to Allaah.
The first issue is the Gospel that was
revealed from the Lord of the Worlds to the
Prophet of Allaah ‘Eesa (peace be upon
him). Belief that Allaah revealed a Book to
His Prophet ‘Eesa and that the name of this
book was the Gospel (Injeel), are basic
principles of faith that we must believe in.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“The Messenger (Muhammad) believes in
what has been sent down to him from his
Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one
believes in Allaah, His Angels, His Books,
and His Messengers. (They say,) ‘We make
no distinction between one another of His
Messengers’ — and they say, ‘We hear, and
we obey. (We seek) Your forgiveness, our
Lord, and to You is the return (of all)’”
[al-Baqarah 2:285]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah
be upon him) said to Jibreel, when he asked
him about faith, as mentioned in the well-
known hadeeth: “Faith means to believe in
Allaah, His angels, His books, His
messengers, the Last Day, and to believe in
His divine will and decree, both good and
bad.” (Agreed upon).
Disbelieving in that or doubting it is
misguidance and kufr or disbelief in Allaah.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“O you who believe! Believe in Allaah, and
His Messenger (Muhammad), and the Book
(the Qur’aan) which He has sent down to
His Messenger, and the Scripture which He
sent down to those before (him); and
whosoever disbelieves in Allaah, His Angels,
His Books, His Messengers, and the Last
Day, then indeed he has strayed far away.
137. Verily, those who believe, then
disbelieve, then believe (again), and (again)
disbelieve, and go on increasing in disbelief;
Allaah will not forgive them, nor guide them
on the (right) way”
[al-Nisa’ 4:136-137]
“Verily, those who disbelieve in Allaah and
His Messengers and wish to make distinction
between Allaah and His Messengers (by
believing in Allaah and disbelieving in His
Messengers) saying, “We believe in some
but reject others,” and wish to adopt a way
in between.
151. They are in truth disbelievers. And We
have prepared for the disbelievers a
humiliating torment”
[al-Nisa’ 4:150-151]
The second issue is the Gospel or, more
precisely, the Gospels that the Christians
have today. Although one of the basic
principles of our faith is to believe in the
Gospel that was revealed to ‘Eesa, we also
believe that there is no longer any book that
remained as it was revealed by Allaah,
neither the Gospel nor anything else, apart
from the Qur’aan. Even the Christians
themselves do not believe that the books
that they have before them were revealed in
that form from God, nor do they claim that
the Messiah wrote the Gospel or at least that
it was written during his lifetime. Imam Ibn
Hazm (may Allaah have mercy on him) says
in al-Fasl fi’l-Milal (2/2):
We do not need to try hard to prove that the
Gospels and all the books of the Christians
did not come from God or from the Messiah
(peace be upon him), as we needed to do
with regard to the Torah and the books
attributed to the Prophets that the Jews
have, because the Jews claim that the Torah
that they have was revealed from God to
Moosa, so we needed to establish proof that
this claim of theirs is false. With regard to
the Christians, they have taken care of the
issue themselves, because they do not
believe that the Gospels were revealed from
God to the Messiah, or that the Messiah
brought them, rather all of them from first to
last, peasants and kings, Nestorians,
Jacobites, Maronites and Orthodox are all
agreed that there are four historical accounts
written by four known men at different times.
The first of them is the account written by
Matthew the Levite who was a disciple of the
Messiah, nine years after the Messiah was
taken up into heaven. He wrote it in Hebrew
in Judaea in Palestine, and it filled
approximately twenty-eight pages in a
medium-sized script. The next account was
written by Mark, a disciple of Simon ben
Yuna, who was called Peter, twenty-two
years after the Messiah was taken up into
heaven. He wrote it in Greek in Antioch in
the land of the Byzantines. They say that the
Simon mentioned is the one who wrote it,
then he erased his name from the beginning
of it and attributed it to his disciple Mark. It
filled twenty-four pages written in a medium-
sized script. This Simon was a disciple of
the Messiah. The third account written was
that of Luke, a physician of Antioch who was
also a disciple of Simon Peter. He wrote it in
Greek after Mark had written his account,
and is similar in length to the Gospel of
Matthew. The fourth account was written by
John the son of Zebedee, another disciple of
the Messiah, sixty-odd years after the
Messiah has been taken up into heaven. He
wrote it in Greek, and it filled twenty-four
pages in a medium-sized script. End quote.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said in al-
Jawaab al-Saheeh (3:21):
With regard to the Gospels that the
Christians have, there are four Gospels,
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They are
agreed that Luke and Mark did not see the
Messiah, rather he was seen by Matthew and
John. These four accounts which they call
the Gospel, and they call each one of them a
Gospel, were written by these men after the
Messiah had been taken up into heaven.
They did not say that they are the word of
God or that the Messiah conveyed them from
God, rather they narrated some of the words
of the Messiah and some of his deeds and
miracles. End quote.
Moreover, these books which were written
after the time of the Messiah did not remain
in their original form. The original versions
were lost long ago. Ibn Hazm said:
With regard to the Christians, there is no
dispute among them or anyone else that only
one hundred and twenty men believed in the
Messiah during his lifetime… and all of those
who believed in him concealed themselves
and were afraid during his lifetime and
afterwards; they called people to his religion
in secret and none of them disclosed himself
or practised his religion openly, because any
of them who was caught was executed.
They continued in this manner, not showing
themselves at all, and they had no place
where they were safe for three hundred years
after the Messiah was taken up into heaven.
During this time, the Gospel that had been
revealed from Allaah disappeared, apart from
a few verses which Allaah preserved as proof
against them and as a rebuke to them, as we
have mentioned. Then when the Emperor
Constantine became a Christian, then the
Christians prevailed and started to practise
their religion openly and assemble in safety.
If a religion is like this, with its followers
practicing it in secret and living in constant
fear of the sword, it is impossible for things
to be transmitted soundly via a continuous
chain of narrators and its followers cannot
protect it or prevent it from being distorted.
End quote. Al-Fasl , 2/4-5.
In addition to this huge disruption in the
chain of transmission of their books, which
lasted for two centuries, these books did not
remain in the languages in which they were
originally written, rather they were
translated, more than once, by people whose
level of knowledge and honesty is unknown.
The contradictions in these books and their
shortcomings are among the strongest
evidence that they have been distorted and
that they are not the Gospel (Injeel) that
Allaah revealed to His slave and Messenger
‘Eesa (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him). Allaah indeed spoke the truth when He
said (interpretation of the meaning):
“Had it been from other than Allaah, they
would surely, have found therein many a
contradiction”

Religion / Re: The Allegedly Corrupted Scripture? Questions For Muslims. by ibnmonsur: 10:37am On Sep 21, 2015 |
Q3: Why did the GOD of Islam
allow for the "original" Bible to get
corrupted or lost?
A3: Before I answer this question from the Islamic
perspective, we must first know that the Bible itself
admits that it is a corrupted Book from the
introduction above. Please visit Just who were
the real authors of the Bible? and History of man's
tampering with the Old Testament.
Let us see what Prophet Muhammad peace be
upon him said regarding the validity and the
reliability of the Bible:
Narrated AbuNamlah al-Ansari: "When he was
sitting with the Apostle of Allah
(peace_be_upon_him) and a Jew was also with
him, a funeral passed by him. He (the Jew) asked
(Him): Muhammad, does this funeral speak? The
Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Allah has
more knowledge. The Jew said: It speaks.
The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said:
Whatever the people of the Book [Jews and
Christians] tell you, do not verify them, nor falsify
them, but say: We believe in Allah and His
Apostle. If it is false, do not confirm it, and if it is
right, do not falsify it. (Translation of Sunan Abu-
Dawud, Knowledge (Kitab Al-Ilm), Book 25,
Number 3637) "
The following two Sayings of our beloved Prophet
Muhammad peace be upon him were sent to me
by Yusif 65; may Allah Almighty always be pleased
with him:
Narrated Ubaidullah: "Ibn 'Abbas said, 'Why do
you ask the people of the scripture about anything
while your Book (Quran) which has been revealed
to Allah's Apostle is newer and the latest? You
read it pure, undistorted and unchanged, and Allah
has told you that the people of the scripture
(Jews and Christians) changed their scripture and
distorted it, and wrote the scripture with their own
hands and said, 'It is from Allah,' to sell it for a
little gain. Does not the knowledge which has
come to you prevent you from asking them about
anything? No, by Allah, we have never seen any
man from them asking you regarding what has
been revealed to you!' (Translation of Sahih
Bukhari, Holding Fast to the Qur'an and Sunnah,
Volume 9, Book 92, Number 461) "
Narrated Abu Huraira: "The people of the Book
used to read the Torah in Hebrew and then explain
it in Arabic to the Muslims. Allah's Apostle said (to
the Muslims). 'Do not believe the people of the
Book, nor disbelieve them, but say, 'We believe in
Allah and whatever is revealed to us, and whatever
is revealed to you.' ' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari,
Holding Fast to the Qur'an and Sunnah, Volume 9,
Book 92, Number 460) "
As we clearly see in the above Sayings of our
beloved Prophet peace be upon him, the source
that the Jews and Christians use (i.e. the Bible or
any other religious source such as their Popes',
Rabbis or other religious people's verdicts) must
be ignored because it is not reliable. As we've
seen in the above introduction, the man-made
scribes (laws) had corrupted the Bible and turned it
"into a lie" (Jeremiah 8:.
According to Islam, Allah Almighty (GOD Almighty)
in the Bible promised those who try to tamper His
Words in the Bible to face hell fire, because He
knew that it was going to happen. He gave the
people of the book (Jews and Christians) a chance/
test and they simply blew it!. Today, there is no
one Bible!. The number of Books/Gospels in the
Roman Catholics Bible for instance is different from
the King James Version Bible, which is different in
the number of Books/Gospels from the Jehovah's
Witnesses Bible, which is different in the number of
Books/Gospels from the Mormon's Bible, etc...
Look at Noble Verse 5:13 from the Noble Quran:
"But on account of their breaking their covenant
We cursed them (Jews and Christians) and made
their hearts hard; they altered the words from their
places and they neglected a portion of what they
were reminded of ; and you shall always discover
treachery in them excepting a few of them; so
pardon them and turn away; surely Allah loves
those who do good (to others)." Israel, when it
lost Allah Almighty's grace, began to sin against
truth and religion in three ways: (1) they began to
misuse Scripture itself, by either taking words out
of their right meaning, or applying them to things
for which they were never meant; (2) in doing so,
they conveniently forgot a part of the Message and
purpose of Allah; and (3) they invented new deceits
to support the old ones.
Let us look at Noble Verse 5:41 "O Apostle! let not
those grieve thee, who race each other into
unbelief: (whether it be) among those who say "We
believe" with their lips but whose hearts have no
faith; or it be among the Jews,- men who will
listen to any lie,- will listen even to others who
have never so much as come to thee. They
change the words from their (right) times and
places: they say, 'If ye are given this, take it, but if
not, beware!' If any one's trial is intended by God,
thou hast no authority in the least for him against
God. For such - it is not God's will to purify their
hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world,
and in the Hereafter a heavy punishment."
Please visit History of man's corruption in the Bible
for more details. Allah Almighty in the Noble
Quran on the other hand, did promise that He will
personally guard the Noble Quran from corruption.
He never promised hell fire to anyone who tries to
tamper His words in the Noble Quran. He will
guard it Himself; "We (Allah) have, without a doubt,
sent down the Message (The Quran); and We
(Allah) will assuredly Guard it [from corruption].
(The Noble Quran, 15:9) ." Today we have only one
Arabic Noble Quran. |

98280 : Wisdom Behind Distortion of the
Gospel
Why did Allah, may He be glorified and
exalted, allow the Gospel to be distorted
when He was able to preserve it?
What are the teachings that the Muslims
followed before the coming of the Prophet
Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be
upon him)?
Praise be to Allah.
Firstly:
Allah delegated the preservation of the Torah
and Gospel to their scholars and monks,
based on the evidence of the verse
(interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, We did send down the Tawrat,
therein was guidance and light, by which the
prophets, who submitted themselves to
Allah’s Will, judged for the Jews. And the
rabbis and the priests [too judged for the
Jews by the Tawrat after those prophets], for
to them was entrusted the protection of
Allah’s Book, and they were witnesses
thereto.” [5:44].
Allah did not guarantee to preserve them as
He guaranteed to preserve the Quran. There
are a number of reasons for this:
1. Allah wanted the Quran to remain the
eternal Book and the law that would abide
until the Day of Resurrection. Allah says
(interpretation of the meaning):
“And We have sent down to you (O
Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be
upon him)) the Book (this Quran) in truth,
confirming the Scripture that came before it
and Muhaymin (trustworthy in highness and
a witness) over it (old Scriptures).” [5:48].
There was no need for the previous Books to
be preserved, especially since the time of the
Quran was close to the time of the Gospel,
and there were only six hundred years
between them.
2. That it was to be a test for those who had
been given the Book – would they play their
role in preserving the Scripture? Would they
believe in what it said? Would they follow
the Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet,
whom they found mentioned in the Torah
and Gospel? Or would they persist in their
stubbornness and distort, conceal and
falsify?
3. This was also a test for all the followers
of Christianity until the Day of Resurrection.
They can see that the Book in which they
believe is not free of distortions, doubts and
loss, and they can see that the Book of the
Final Messenger Muhammad (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him) has been
preserved and transmitted by so many from
so many that no one can doubt its
authenticity, so that calls them to believe in
the clear Book, the Noble Quran.
Secondly:
During the Jahiliyyah (days of ignorance),
before the coming of the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him), the people
were polytheists (mushrikeen) and idol-
worshippers. Most of them had no real
religion or decent laws, except a few who
followed the way of the Messiah (peace be
upon him), such as Waraqah ibn Nawfal, and
a few Haneefs who followed the religion of
Ibrahim (peace be upon him). These few
people shunned shirk, idols, alcohol and
immorality, and prostrated to Allah alone, the
Lord of the Worlds, such as Zayd ibn ‘Amr
ibn Nufayl, of whom it is narrated in a
saheeh (authentic) report in al-Bukhari that
he said: “I will not eat of that which you
slaughter on your stone altars, and I will not
eat anything but that over which the name of
Allah has been mentioned.” And he also
used to say: “O Quraysh, by Allah, there is
no one among you who is following the
religion of Ibrahim (peace be upon him)
except me.” He used to try to stop people
burying their daughters alive, and he would
say to a man who wanted to kill his
daughter: Do not kill her; I will sponsor her.
And he would take her and when she grew
up he would say to her father: If you wish, I
will give her to you, and if you wish, I will
sponsor her. [al-Bukhaari].
And Allah knows best. |

onetrack:Thanks, may Allaah guide you, if you understand the fact that your creation and the creation of everything in the heavens and the earth must be by someone. It cant be by nothing and you didn't create uourself nor all this things. Then it must be by someone a SUPERNATURAL BEING WHO IS THE GOD ALLAH THE WHO CREATED ALL THINGS BUT NOT CREATED HE SAYS surah iklas Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One, Allah , the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent." __ Go Chapter (24) sūrat l-nūr (The Light) Sahih International : Allah has created every [living] creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent. "Allah created all things, and he is the agent, upon which, all things depend." — [ Al-Qur'an 39:62] Praise be to Allaah. This question which the non Muslims have asked you is inherently false and self- contradictory. If we were to say – for the sake of argument – that someone created Allaah, then they would ask you, Who created the creator of the Creator? Then, who created the creator of the creator of the creator?! And so on, ad infinitum. This is irrational and impossible. All of creation goes back to the Creator Who created all things. No one created Him; He created everything other than Himself. This is what makes sense and is logical. This Creator is Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted. |

David0: Every prophet of God brought miracles . they only performed this miracle when their people denied them and ask them to bring evidence that they are from Allaah. As Muslim, we know and believes in many miracles of Jesus not known to you Christians. Do you know that when Jesus was in cradle he spoke to defend his mother? and that he made bird living bird from clay? We believe that Allaah supported him with miracles that proved he was speaking the truth. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “(Remember) when Allaah will say (on the Day of Resurrection). ‘O ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Remember My Favour to you and to your mother when I supported you with Rooh‑ul‑Qudus [Jibreel (Gabriel)] so that you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and when I taught you writing, Al‑Hikmah (the power of understanding), the Tawraat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel); and when you made out of the clay, a figure like that of a bird, by My Permission, and you breathed into it, and it became a bird by My Permission, and you healed those born blind, and the lepers by My Permission, and when you brought forth the dead by My Permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from you (when they resolved to kill you) as you came unto them with clear proofs, and the disbelievers among them said: This is nothing but evident magic’” So Jesus performed miracles as also the prophets before him. miracle is not something new in matters with the prophet. Muhammad also cane with his when his people denied him. I will only inform of some of it and I will implore you to make mor finding. just go to Wikipedia and see yourself. even historian record his miracles .. splitting of the moon.etc And the greatest of all the miracles is Quran. None of the miracles of all other prophet still present till date. But the miracle of the QUR'AN ( word s of God) STILL PRESENT TILL THE END TIME. TRY READING IT WITH A SINCERE HEARTH THEN YOU WILL THE MIRACLE OF YOUR LORD SPEAKING TO YOU |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: Thank you, may Allaah guide you. The main misconception is that All this prophet came with the same thing they were neither call Jews during the time of moses nor were they called Christians during the time of jesus . it was after them that people start calling them names. if this people were neither called Christians born Jew , then the question should be what then were they then preaching. They call to worship of God only (ISLAM) “But the Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)] said: ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord.’ Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allaah, then Allaah has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers” [al-Maa’idah 5:72] All the messengers from Noah to Muhammad all are calling to the WORSHIP OF ONLY ONE GOD. THERE US NO DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THEM BUT THEIR METHODS IS WHAT DIFFERS as Jesus also says " he will tell the father to send another comforter that will talk about him and guide you to all truth. We believe that ‘Eesa (peace be upon him) was one of the slaves of Allaah, and one of His noble Messengers. Allaah sent him to the Children of Israel to call them to believe in Allaah alone and worship Him alone. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And (remember) when ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: ‘O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allaah unto you, confirming the Tawraat [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.’ But when he (Ahmad, i.e. Muhammad) came to them with clear proofs, they said: ‘This is plain magic’” [al-Saff 61:6] Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And (remember) when ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: ‘O Children of Israel! PLS MY BROTHER I HAVE A SINCERE ADVICE FOR YOU THINK UPON THE FOLLOWING VERSES Surah At-tur, Verse 35:36: 43 أَمْ خُلِقُوا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَيْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ الْخَالِقُونَ Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief. Or have they a god other than Allah. Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him! |

Medicis: why trying to play ignorance here Issa is not an Arabic name, some people call him esus , Yoruba people call him Jesu while to the English its called Jesus. all still referring to the same individual. leave religious book, read historical books. the story is still the Same. Whether the name is different is not the point but the MESSAGE IS THE CONCERN. |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: He was neither a Jews or christian he was MUSLIM.( someone who worshipped God alone ) He came to preach the oneness of God Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And (remember) when ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: ‘O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allaah unto you, confirming the Tawraat [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.’ But when he (Ahmad, i.e. Muhammad) came to them with clear proofs, they said: ‘This is plain magic’” [al-Saff 61:6] “But the Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)] said: ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord.’ Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allaah, then Allaah has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers” [al-Maa’idah 5:72] He neither was a CHRISTIAN NOR JEW |

5~~ We believe that he will disavow himself on
the Day of Resurrection of the claims that he
was a god.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And (remember) when Allaah will say (on
the Day of Resurrection): 'O ‘Eesa (Jesus),
son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto
men: Worship me and my mother as two
gods besides Allaah?’ He will say: ‘Glory be
to You! It was not for me to say what I had
no right (to say). Had I said such a thing,
You would surely have known it. You know
what is in my inner‑self though I do not
know what is in Yours; truly, You, only You,
are the All‑Knower of all that is hidden (and
unseen).
Never did I say to them aught except what
You (Allaah) did command me to say:
Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord. And
I was a witness over them while I dwelt
amongst them, but when You took me up,
You were the Watcher over them; and You
are a Witness to all things’”
[al-Maa'idah 5:116-117]

Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord. And

[al-Maa'idah 5:116-117]
This is what the Muslims believe about the
Messiah ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (peace be upon
him).
Al-Bukhaari (3435) and Muslim (28) narrated
from ‘Ubaadah (may Allaah be pleased with
him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever bears
witness that there is no god but Allaah
alone, with no partner or associate, and that
Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, and
that ‘Eesa is His slave and Messenger, a
word which Allaah bestowed upon Maryam
and a spirit created by Him, and that
Paradise is real, and Hell is real, Allaah will
admit him through whichever of the eight
gates of Paradise he wishes.” PLS THINK OH MANKIND We ask Allaah to make us steadfast in faith and to cause us to die as believers. May Allaah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad. |

onetrack: Jesus doesn't have a father. It some people who said Joseph was his earthly father. IT IS A MIRACLE FROM GOD TO SHOW TO MANKIND THAT THIS MAN IS FROM GOD. We believe that ‘Eesa was born from the Virgin Maryam with no father, and that is not impossible for Allaah Who, when He wills a thing, says “Be!” and it is. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Verily, the likeness of ‘Eesa (Jesus) before Allaah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: ‘Be!’ — and he was” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:59] “(Remember) when the angels said: ‘O Maryam (Mary)! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me.’ He said: ‘So (it will be) for Allaah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: “Be!” and it is’” |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: The post actually is to clarify the misconceptions many people have that " Jesus came with a religion and Muhammad came with a different one" its to tell people the relationship and status of Jesus to we Muslims. But to ur question No history will denied the fact that Jesus lived during his time and also muhammad, and this two men were delivering some messages during their own time ( I.e A call to worship ONE GOD) that causes controversies among people of their time. So if history get the fact both Jesus and Muhammad lived and both came with a MESSAGE. Then you are to make finding on what really there message was. And why Islam believes in both and some religion are making differences. 1 Like |

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 4: We believe that he will come back down at the end of time, and will disprove the claim of his enemies the Jews that they killed him, and will disprove the claim of the Christians that he is God or the son of God, and he will not accept anything from them but Islam. [/color] Al-Bukhaari (2222) and Muslim (155) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “By the One in Whose hand is my soul, soon the son of Maryam will descend among you [according to another report: the Hour will not begin until the son of Maryam descends among you] as a just judge. He will break the cross, kill the pigs and abolish the jizyah, and money will become abundant until no one will accept it.” “Soon” means it will inevitably happen quickly. “will descend among you” means among this ummah. “A just judge” means that he will come down and rule according to this sharee’ah (divine law), and that this sharee’ah will remain and not be abrogated, rather ‘Eesa will be one of the rulers of this ummah. “He will break the cross and kill the pigs” means he will declare as false the religion of the Christians by breaking the cross in a real sense and proving false the Christians’ claims and veneration of the cross. “and he will abolish the jizyah”: al-Nawawi said: The correct view concerning this is that he will not accept it, and he will not accept anything from the kaafirs disbelievers but Islam. If any of them offer the jizyah that will not make him stop fighting them. Rather he will not accept anything but Islam or death. This is the view of Imam Abu Sulaymaan al- Khattaabi and other scholars (may Allaah have mercy on them). End quote. “Money will become abundant” – the reason for this abundance will be the descent of blessings and the spread of goodness because of justice and the absence of oppression or wrongdoing. At that time the earth will bring forth its treasures, and desire to keep money will decrease because they will know that that Hour is at hand. Then he will die and the Muslims will offer the funeral prayer for him and bury him. Ahmad (9349) narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I am the closest of people to ‘Eesa ibn Maryam because there was no Prophet between him and me…” Then he mentioned his descent at the end of time. Then he said: “And he will remain for as long as Allaah wills he should remain, then he will die and the Muslims will offer the funeral prayer for him and bury him.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al- Saheehah (2182). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We believe that he did not die and his enemies the Jews did not kill him, rather Allaah saved him from them and raised him up to heaven alive. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And because of their (Jews) disbelief and uttering against Maryam (Mary) a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse); And because of their saying (in boast), ‘We killed Messiah ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allaah,’ — but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them the resemblance of ‘Eesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man)], and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]: But Allaah raised him [‘Eesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allaah is Ever All‑Powerful, All‑Wise” [al-Nisa’ 4:156-158] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We believe that he told his followers of the coming of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And (remember) when ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: ‘O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allaah unto you, confirming the Tawraat [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.’ But when he (Ahmad, i.e. Muhammad) came to them with clear proofs, they said: ‘This is plain magic’” [al-Saff 61:6] |
This is for any one who is sincere , who really want the guidance from God. NOTE: IT DOESNT CALL FOR ARGUMENT Praise be to Allaah. Our beliefs concerning the Messiah ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus the son of Mary – peace be upon him) are those indicated by the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of our Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We believe that ‘Eesa (peace be upon him) was one of the slaves of Allaah, and one of His noble Messengers. Allaah sent him to the Children of Israel to call them to believe in Allaah alone and worship Him alone. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And (remember) when ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: ‘O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allaah unto you, confirming the Tawraat [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.’ But when he (Ahmad, i.e. Muhammad) came to them with clear proofs, they said: ‘This is plain magic’” [al-Saff 61:6] “But the Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)] said: ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord.’ Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allaah, then Allaah has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers” [al-Maa’idah 5:72] ~~~~~~ ~ ~~~~~ ‘Eesa was not a god or the son of God as the Christians claim. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Surely, they have disbelieved who say: ‘Allaah is the Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary).’” [al-Maa’idah 5:72] “And the Jews say: ‘Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allaah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allaah. That is their saying with their mouths, resembling the saying of those who disbelieved aforetime. Allaah’s Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!” [al-Tawbah 9:30] The first words that ‘Eesa spoke when Allaah caused him to speak when he was in the cradle were (interpretation of the meaning): “He [‘Eesa (Jesus)] said: ‘Verily, I am a slave of Allaah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet’” [Maryam 19:30] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We believe that Allaah supported him with miracles that proved he was speaking the truth. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “(Remember) when Allaah will say (on the Day of Resurrection). ‘O ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Remember My Favour to you and to your mother when I supported you with Rooh‑ul‑Qudus [Jibreel (Gabriel)] so that you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and when I taught you writing, Al‑Hikmah (the power of understanding), the Tawraat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel); and when you made out of the clay, a figure like that of a bird, by My Permission, and you breathed into it, and it became a bird by My Permission, and you healed those born blind, and the lepers by My Permission, and when you brought forth the dead by My Permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from you (when they resolved to kill you) as you came unto them with clear proofs, and the disbelievers among them said: This is nothing but evident magic’” [al-Maa'idah 5:110] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We believe that ‘Eesa was born from the Virgin Maryam with no father, and that is not impossible for Allaah Who, when He wills a thing, says “Be!” and it is. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Verily, the likeness of ‘Eesa (Jesus) before Allaah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: ‘Be!’ — and he was” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:59] “(Remember) when the angels said: ‘O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allaah gives you the glad tidings of a Word [‘Be!’ — and he was! i.e. ‘Eesa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)] from Him, his name will be the Messiah ‘Eesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allaah.” He will speak to the people, in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the righteous.’ She said: ‘O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me.’ He said: ‘So (it will be) for Allaah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: “Be!” and it is’” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:45-47] to be continued......[b] |
