ruescho:

You are thinking bery German too!

You can't say it like that 'cause I'm a Persian and according to our mentality we wouldn't tell somebody the price of his/her gift either. That is just degrading and you spoil the joy of the person who receives the gift. Because if the gift is not expensice enough, the person might feel inferiour and if the gift is too expensice then the person might feel guilty. Anyhow it will cause trouble to tell the person the price. Besides, as I earlier said, it's the thought that counts.

Anyway: think I buy a cheap ring, the rest of the money we send to Africa,
then everybody wil be happy and have something to boast with cheesy cheesy cheesy

That's also a nice idea. Buying a cheap ring does not necessarily mean you don't love her enough. If you do that because you need the rest of the money to make your peeps happy then it's totally ok in my opinion. And I'm sure they're going to be very happy wink

So if I give a nice ring to my naija girlfriend on xmas, should I tell her how much it cost me

OF COURSE NOT!!!! It's the thought that counts, not the money!!!

Celebrities / Re: O.j. Simpson's New Book "if I Did It, This Is How It Happened". by Ibukun2(f): 9:32pm On Nov 18, 2006
What is a more obvious confession than to write a book about how you would have committed a murder which you have already been suspected of . And how primitive and barbaric and inhumane can somebody be, to write a book like that. In my opinion, O.J Simpson is even worse than an animal. You just can't call him a human-being. But I don't worry about him cause GOD will surely punish him for this evil act!!!

Just keep on praying!!! That's my advice for you! Pray for blessing. There's nothing GOD can not do. He will help you even in the most hopeless situations. Put all your trust and faith in HIM. I will also include you into my prayers cause I think it's really a pity when somebody wants to do something good in his life but is not given a chance.
So many children in this country I am living are opportune to learn something good and get a good job but they are just too lazy and interested in too stupid things and when I see somebody that really wants to study well but is not given a chance, it really makes me go mad. It's the same in my home country. The government does not support your studies.
The only thing somebody has to do in this kind of a situation is to believe in GOD'S support and help.

And just like KG said: DON'T GIVE UP! NEVER GIVE UP!! REFUSE TO GIVE UP!!!
