Business To Business / The Difference Between Trump And Clinton Is..... by iCentraNigeria: 6:17pm On Oct 13, 2016
Donald and Clinton joined a wholesale company together just after graduation. Both worked very hard.
After several years, the boss promoted Clinton to Senior Sales Executive but Donald remained a Sales Executive.
One day Donald could not take it anymore. He tendered his resignation to the boss and complained that the boss did not value hard working staff, but only promoted those who flattered him.
The boss knew that Donald worked very hard for the years he’d spent at the company, but in order to help Donald realize the difference between him and Clinton, the boss set Donald a task.
“Go and find out if anyone is selling water melon in the market?”
Donald returned and said yes there is someone.
The boss asked how much per kg? Donald went back to the market to ask and returned to inform boss the N10,000 per 50kg.
The Boss told Donald, I will ask Clinton the same question, pay close attention to his response.
Clinton went, returned and said, boss, there is only one person selling Made in Nigeria Rice. The cost is N10,000 per 50kg bag and 5,000 for 25 kg bag. He has inventory of 450Bags. In the Shop there were 50 Bags, with each one weighing about 50 kg. They were purchased from the South two days ago, they are fresh and red with good quality.
Donald was very impressed and realized the difference between himself and Clinton. He decided not to resign but to learn from Clinton.
To be successful in the Marketplace, you must be observant, think more, have a holistic perspective and go the extra mile.
Go to work with a better approach to your work / business. .
