What price range are you thinking of in terms of tuition.
The good thing about studying nursing is that an array of jobs are available to you. PCA or AIN jobs Support workers either in disability or mental health et.c Just remember, you have a limit of 48hrs a fortnight during school sessions, but can work unlimited when you're on the school break. If you don't have an agent, get one. I heard IDP doesn't charge agent fees (not sure if I got that correctly). Apply to universities of your choice. You can also choose to apply for a diploma of nursing course. It's much more cheaper- in some cases it's half the tuition of that of a university degree.
can an adult apply for diploma in Nursing as well? Which universities would u suggest pls? Thanks |

See ehn!!!! Make i clear you....if wanna fly with the kid...i will advice u to adopt him or her to make ur application easy.. ... we are in the era of child trafficking and embassies know we get document easily in nigeria with the right price....
Ur application with different surname on both passport as guardian will rasie NSF email sharpally, asking if the parents are alive...if they are alive..ukvi will undoubtedly bounce the kid's application immediately.
... the only way the application will stand a small chance of approval is if both parents are dead...and they will start askimg u for more documents like death certificate, the kid's birth certificate and all manner of court documents
Noted, thanks |

Technically, u are right... esepcially in the situation where a legal guardian is being compared to adoptive parents....all together it all depends on the condition that made the person a guardian, which is always stated...e.g
the real parents can be alive but incapacitated, e.g in prison, or mentaly unwell, etc, hence the need for guardian..
Also...the guardian my be a trusted carer like for cases of autistic kids that dont even connect with the real parents at all but connects with the carer only that helps the child function....
..also the real parents could be dead making a famiky member apply as legal guardian with approval of other family member...perhaps, because of being in the best poaition to financially and responaibly care for the kid
So in the first two cases...a legal guardian usualy doest have full control, in making all decision concerning the minor.....
.in the last case, the guardian will likely have more control and may not need dual or further consent to fly with the child.... but may need additional concent to make life or death decision/critical decisions... u get?? Thanks for the detailed explanation. Will UKVI allow a child whose legal guardian I got be my dependant? I don't want visa denial for my niece's child . I don't really want to adopt the girl because I want her to maintain her surname. |

Which relationship?? he is not the father of the kids. What does he want to prove over another man's kids?? He doesnt have a dog in this fight unless he has officially adopted the kids , prior to the visa apllication and with legal documents to show...
Its a simple matter... The wife that is his dependent and also the mother of the kids is the one that needs to show relationship with her name on kids' birth certificates and also prove she has sole custody/solely responsible for her kids for the kids to fly with her and her current husband....
... she can prove it by an official divorce letter from her ex husband which would have also officially addressed the custody of the kids produced in the union...
....If there was no marriage with the father of her kids..she must still show a court document that she is soley responsible for her kids for their visa to be approved
Pls is being a guardian different from adoption. Can I get visa for a person whose guardian I've got? Thanks |

Aren't you meant to have a supervisor for masters by research or he's going to find one for you as well? Why didn't he apply for it straight away without going through the hassle of masters by coursework. Be sure he's not trying to rip you off with another application fee.
A lot of people have applied for visa without IELTS, unless it's a new rule I'm not aware of. If your school offered admission without ielts, you can as well apply for visa without it. I used IELTS for mine because I had it, I also know people who did without IELTS pls what are the in demand courses available for masters by research ? Thanks |

Hi. Great question. The UK has recently introduced a few different routes into teaching. In order to aid my response to your enquiry, could you be nice enough to answer the following:
a. do you have any experience and/or certification in teaching?
b. are you inside/outside the UK currently? Yes, teaching experience but no teaching certification. Inside the UK. Thanks |

Get 20 points in English by writing pte and budget to write multiple times. Also give 190 or 491 a chance. It’s up to you if you want to get married but don’t make mistake of getting married or have a live-in partner and claim single. The 10 points for single is also not applicable if you are not officially married but live together. So no traditional, court or church marriages and no live-in. Cos if they discover, you will lose on all sides. Your other option is get married and claim 5 points from your spouse by writing English test or remain single till you land in Australia What if someone is separated and in the process of filing for divorce? |

JTLawson: Please I am interested in subclass 491
My current point Age (33) - 25 points Degree (BSc) - 15 points I am single - 10 points but I intend marrying and i heard this will affect my score English (Competent level) - I was given zero for competent level. I studied Petroleum Engineering (5yrs) but ever since I have been teaching in a school. Since I can't claim points working in the area of my choosing occupation I selected less than 3yrs experience which gave me zero.
The occupation I am going for is Petroleum Engineer and I intend to pursue Western Australia nomination which do that same occupation. It also does not require me to have any relevant working experience for that occupation.
Any advise on how I can boast my points?
Thanks Pls give me the link to check my eligibility score. Thanks |

I really didn't want to stretch our very polite debate, hence the reason for my initial cheeky response.
However, after reading the hypothetical stats in your post, I couldn't resist the temptation of one FINAL reply on this subject matter.
I came into the UK for a teacher training program. Before the end of the program, I and all nine of my Nigerian cohorts all got sponsored teaching jobs. That's 100% of us.
In that same year, I was acquainted with about 11 Nigerian/African students in Church (please note, I'm no Church boy), who were studying different courses in IT, Engineering and Health. 8 of them got sponsored jobs before the end of their programs. That's north of 70%. This made me encourage my brother to come into the UK on a study Visa last year and he too has gotten a sponsored role (and he hasn't even finished his program yet).
This has been my personal experience. I'm not as familiar with the experiences of the "big industry" boys as you are, so it's possible there are things you know that I don't. Anyways, I'm sure that there are nuggets of truth in what both you and I, and everyone else has written. Perhaps, therin lies the beauty of this thread.
I do agree with you on one thing. Becoming successful in getting one's preferred sponsored job should never make one believe that it should/must be easy for everyone else. Our life paths are not always the same. How can I switch career as a teacher and how do I get the sponsored jobs pls? |

Yes, you can defer your admission. Depends on the stage you are in the process. Do you have your visa already? Also check out your school requirements as regards this. If you are funded, ask if you won't lose the funding. Alright, thanks |

Self-sponsored students are very OK..Just make sure that sources of income are seasoned and consistent. If you’re a worker making N500k/mon and wants to sponsor yourself to an MBA of $40k/yr.. and you have been at the job for 2 yrs.. your income is not mathing up to your tuition.
Thanks |

chibertha: When it comes to minors the other parent must consent for you to take them abroad it is an international rule to stop child trafficking. That said if the children have passports it is assumed that they have consent because for them to be issued passport both parents must be in agreement. In addition always carry a consent letter from the other parent when traveling out with them. I will advise you go with it too to the embassy Incase of "incacity". Better to be over prepared than under prepared. E get why
NOTE I CAN GIVE YOU SAMPLES OF CONSENT LETTER WHICH I USE FOR MY KIDS.
Thank you so much. |
