From recent reports here, looks like it has been a while someone got en evisa.

Can you guys confirm this ?

There seem to be a lot more denials with the E-visa. For now, I think the vsf physical submission is the way to go.

Please experienced S.A travellers. Has anyone used paid Airbnb booking at the point of entry. Ive heard about their immigration been strict about paying for hotels before stamping you in. I want to know if an airbnb booking will suffice. Thanks

Investment / Re: FGN Savings Bond by icu4: 11:55am On Jul 30
Hello Good Morning,

Do you get issued a certificate after investing in FGN Bond.

freeman67:

Nothing much.

For the primary market, you only need to download the form or go get it from the issuers agent you intend to use, fill it and submit it as directed from where you get along with the proof of payment of your desired amounr. Also, some banks create automated platforms sometimes during the auction where you will just go and fill the form online. The only extra thing that it needed with that is just for you to upload your payment receipt.

If you have a CSCS account, it's also very okay as it is usually required on the form. After auction and settlements, the bond is usually allotted to your CSCS account. However, even if you do not have it, your bank will look for how to warehouse it for you and if you decide you want to resale it, you will have to contact them for it.

For primary market, the only platform I have used for bond so far and know their ways is Standard Chartered Bank. For them, all you have to do is to click on investment option in bank app. Everything there is automated: After clicking, check available listings and select options the has your desired rate & tenure. Then you Input the amount you want to invest (Be sure it's already in the account with them before you start the process) and select buy.

That's all I can say for now. If you have other questions you can still ask.

God forbid the day I will abandon a well paying Nigerian job just because I want to put on winter jacket in UK while my face is unhappy and my health is terribly under stress.

I do not mind doing it for a job or immigration to the USA where opportunities abound for even the very 1st generation of the immigrant family, but UK is a big NO.

The majority of Nigerians who have been in the UK since the early 1980s, they have not made it till today. Their children have not made it too.

The wise 3rd generation have embraced sport and entertainment, so that the curse of the UK will not happen to the 3rd generation of the family.

If you go to the UK, you are going there to suffer so that maybe your 3rd generation family can finally live wealthy.

The points in this post are just perfect. Most people tend to understand after they’ve gotten into the system. You are comfortable in Nigeria , I see no reason to venture into the unknown which in most cases isn’t worth. If your condition is terrible here , by all means explore.

‘I’m doing it for my children’ okay look at the people that has done before you and see how better off their children are. Especially the uk, this doesn’t apply to other western countries with better opportunities. Like someone said earlier, The UK is not the best destination for immigration, it's just a better place.

Hello,

New to this thread, please who has any experience about birthing in Faith City Vi.

when i had my first baby i used them for antenatal but eventually did not give birth there, they used to have a lot of pregnant women. Inshort antenatal days i get there as early as 7 so i can get a good spot this was in 2016.

Currently pregnant again and i noticed they dont have a lot of pregnant clients inshort clients in general has reduced. Their Gynae has left so dont know if that could be responsible for the decline.

Please anybody who has recently had their baby there should share experience.

Also thinking of St. Ives as an alternate.

Already 32weeks gone.

You are safer by air than road.
As bad was it sound, I guess reducing your EDD is best... a forgivable lie.
You must get fitness to fly of say 35weeks.
Go to aviation clinic about some hours rp your flight, cost about 5k in Abuja, where you are may be cheaper.
God help us.

Hello good morning. I sent you a pm

beautyuche:
Yes we can not over emphasize this to enter Mecico you don’t necessarily need a Mexican visa. Infact they are not even issuing visa in Nigeria as it stands. You can still enter the country if you have a USA visa, Canada visa, Uk visa, Schengen visa or a Japan visa.
So you see the options are enormous.

Hope you are clear now.

Hello beautyche.

Pls I need a clarification from you. Based on your experience If my wife has our baby in Mexico and I am unable to be present for the child birth. Can my name as the father be added to the baby’s birth certificate.

Jesus!!! Thank you so much. I didn’t know I was supposed to click the “submit by mail”. I already sent via courier and I have been checking for updates. Now I have the receipt and I’m confused as to how to send it across😭

Login to your e-consular, click on current services. Check if the status has changed to ‘mailed’.

Hello House,

My wife and I will like to have our vacation in France this coming January. We are both employed with some travel history and a good bank statement. My question is do we stand a higher chance of getting the visa if we apply together or separately.

Thank you.

Na automatic rejection be that....lol...

With that their nonsense format, My application was rejected.....same with two of my friends

My passport was returned on the day I went for physical submission...

Is your wife showing already?

No shes not and we submitted separately. The guy barely looked at the documents, he just took the bank statement, employment letter and returned the passport and kept the photocopy. the whole thing is just surprising because previously they take 1month plus to make a decision now its 5 mins. did you get a rejection mail or did your online tracking changed.

After interview or after submission?

If they give you back your passport without a visa on it after interview, isn’t that refusal?

Mine was during submission but a colleague of mine submitted via courier and her passport was returned when she went for interview. They kept only a copy of the passport and all other documents. They usually take a couple of weeks to make their decision , thats why im wondering if their procedure has changed. Like you said i will send them a mail to clarify. thanks.

Hello Guys

I submitted the hardcopy documents since last week...

After submitting the receipt of the visa fees payment, I was told to return to my destination with my intl passport.. I.e only the photocopy of the passport and the original of the other documents were received

Abeg oooo....Na so e day be?

Same thing happened to me few weeks ago. They returned the intl passport and only kept some documents. I dont know if it is their new procedure or it means automatic rejection. My online tracking is still showing 'under review'.

Where did you get your information from? Please be mind and always be sure of passing out false information so as not to destroyed people plan. Don't say what you don't know please. Brazilian consulate is accepting visa applications not in person or by booking an appointment. You can send your complete visa application through courier in Lagos and include your printout of evidence of payment for your visa fees.

Hello please i just applied for a Brazilian visa . i submitted my documents but my intl passport was returned to me immediately they only kept a copy of my passport, bank statement, employers into letter and my previous visas. did you experience the same thing during your visa processing.

im abit worried that my passport was returned immediately. i dont know if returning passport is their new procedure or it means automatic rejection. please kindly share your experience. ps my online tracking is still showing 'under review'. thanks

The recent update now is that the brazil embassy doesnt keep your passport anymore after interview, they return it back to you immediately.

Can anyone who has done the interview recently share their experience please.
