Aint Manly, in my own opinion considered totally inappropriate for a dude (Xcluding P*S*I*S)

Anyway if you have to cry as a man,Cry with Dignity dont just open all your mouth to render bacterias homeless, funny ehn?
For ladies,Cry but with hidden intentions that would pay off, well its always like that for ladies sha, When they want to collect something or beg forgiveness for wetin dem dey always do wey we dey always catch them ,

You see if your instincts tells you that your lady is cheating on you, just challenge her with maybe 1 or 2 feable facts that you can lay your hands on, If she feels sober or starts crying ,then youre right, But if she didnt do anythingooo she would argue it t the last, then you'd know you were wrong, They are just too freaking emotionally weak and ORIGINA9JA dey try tell me say she different, okayoooo.

Ifababa: May be you too need to check your records. Syncro System was realised in 1976 and it got KSA first Grammy nomination the second nomination was "Odu" in 1999. Check and correct me if am wrong.

You are 100% right my bro,but the basis of my argument was simply that beign norminated for or having won a grammy's does not signify the academic significance of your music, They want him as a MUSIC LECTURER for God's sake, Like someone said its like having your old uncle in the village that has done farming all his life apply for the post of a lecturer at OAU the agriculture department, Then he would be sharing his wealth of FAULTY IDEAS and not experience with the students.? grin grin grin, Someone then would want to argue that he has the largest farm in their village, d'you know what i mean now ,

And then micheal jackson should be made to lecture rock and pop at berkleeys or royal college of music,

I think the problem is people's view of what music really is, it's got its own professional side,
Romance / Re: Guys: Can You Cry In Front Of Yours Girlfriend. by ifababa(m): 4:30pm On Jun 09, 2009
To be honest with you all,I creid once in front of my Ex-girlfriend,She was really good girl and she threatened to leave me, threatened ? No she meant to leave me,because was caught in the act{you know what i mean} with another girl she has warned and i have also lied about several times, So i had to cry to convince her i wouldnt do it again and it was the devil that caused it , How the tears came i cant really explain and funny enough she started crying too when she saw the tears in my eyes and she forgave me,

Maybe Pretence cry i would call it but cry na cry and it worked for the purpose i wanted it to,

If your girl is not as forgiving as my own she might not forgive you ooo, so dont rely on my theory, make you no go enter life troubleo, I rest my case

Music/Radio / Re: When Will Nigerian Artistes Improve Their Stage Performances? by ifababa(m): 4:19pm On Jun 09, 2009
Nigerian artiste will improve their stage perfomance when we have 1 good music company to start with, The artistes will then start to see that becoming an ARTISTE is not just as easy as they could ever have dreamt it is,

9ice cant even move on stage jez!!!,,
2face was singing with a live band and God he looks like a nursery school child trying to recite jack and jill,
Artquake on a T.v interview even forgot his own lines,

That is the reason why Asa will never win much award in this country as this shouting people that calls themselves artistes, Because she no be their mate !!!!

The only present ones that a good music company would signon from our nigerian artistes lists are,

Femi Kuti
Asa
P-square

Omawunmi-- In the making
Faze--- In the making
Dbanj-- In the making
Tuface-- In the making
Rhymzo-- In the making
9ice-- Beginners category

You see what i mean, And so many producers would dust their secondary school certificates and go to school , the learned ones would practise their profession of study strictly, Simply because there would be no ones to patronise them in music because of its standard, Only ones like Cobhams,Wole oni and a few others would survive the test of quality,

I advocate for a good music company, 1 to start with coz we have NONE so far in the country, I rest my case

  shocked shocked
u r dumb .

I mean i just don't understand how some ppl think sha. What has  experience got to do with being a graduate? .Sunny Ade is worth it!!!!! period!!!.And for those of u thinking sunny Ade is not a musician,u r making a big mistake(ignorance).Sunny plays well(keyboard and guitar), he also sight-reads any piece of musical script,he is a director(not just a lead vocalist)and he also understands both practical and theoretical music from the rudiments to advanced    .Thumbs up Baba Ade(as he is fondly called during rehearsals), One of ur boyz dey hail.

Chairman Nethacker, You dey try oo i think it really depends on your own understanding of what Music theory and practical really is,

Its not about just holding the guitar and striking some sweet notes its way beyond that , This man cannot even play a 4 note phrase CONSISTENTLY for 30 seconds, His music is pleasant to hearing to doubt but it does not meet the academia standard for been appointed as a music lecturer, I'ld rather him lecture at the cultural center or centre for african arts and culture, I rest my case

I respect everyone right to his view, but I wonder why people write as if KSA would be teaching all the subjects required to get BA (Music), Has anyone listen to this guy speak, do would you tell me that he speaks like a  one does not not know what is is talking about, this is a musician that has been recognised world wide and has been the first Nigerian musician to be nominated for Grammy Awards back in 1980s, the only second person is Femi Kuti, who did not go to school too. What the university would make attempt to get from him his practical aspect of music. Could someone tell me the degree Bill gate received from the university before he developed WINDOWS. Knowledge is knowledge and God puts it where He wants, we should put sentiments apart if we really want to transfer of knowledge that would survive after our generation.
,

Oga remii na wao, Please try to verify information before you pass it unto us in this forum oo, Sunny ade was not the first nigerian to be neminated for grammy's, Actually a nigerian musician called Babatunde Olatunji  has won grammys before, In 1991 Olatunji received a Grammy Award for his
collaboration with Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart on "Planet Drum, Won a nomination for the 1998 Grammy for Best World Music Album,

He speaks english comprehensively well though, but music is taught in the language of music and that is why we call music a UNIVERSAL language, I wont be surprised if you dont understand what i mean,

If by chance OAU wants to give that honour to any nigerian artiste, then they should have given it to the one that is mostly deserved of it in all ways before his death. And that is no other person than FELA  ANIKULAPO KUTI, As a matter of fact his music is studied at different institutions cut across the globe, and OAU Herself would be so honoured to have someone like fela lecture there,

The point is that the effect of your music amongst the music elites in the country and around the world  is what should be the basis of granting such honour ,

Allnotwithstanding there is still something the students can learn from him, especially those that wants to study JUJU MAJOR, smiley smiley smiley smiley

The appointment as a lecturer is not really needed because he doesnt understand the language of MUSIC, but if you argue that he does, then there's high hopes for  the likes of 9ice,tuface,Konga,Oriefonkasibe and the likes, even Kleva j, I rest my case

Look i dont know why you are more grieved, oppressed, pain stricken and out worn than even the victims of this investments, or do you have your money there too, ? For Gods sake i read the modus operandi of this people before i invested my money in them and the truth is i have assumedly lost my money in one{wealth solutions} and i have made far more than my capital in one {sefteg} so what do you say about this, ?

The truth is just that if you are not willing to take a risk in anything you do especially businesses then you are nothing and nowhere to go in life, I lost my money in wealth solution but the first day i heard of their problems i just laughed it off, Though they said they're still paying but whether they pay or not is no big deal, Its not my means of livelyhood , The truth is everyone should know about risk management, Good to take risks but better when you can manage them too,

Afam so tell me about those that had shares in savanah bank before it liquidated , were they also greedy too, ?

Some investment firms at the World Trade Centre Lost their feet and could hardly stand till date since the sept 11 attack on the building i know of one particular one, such operators are also greedy too i suppose , abi, ?

Look we know people like you, you only talk and criticize destructively but you find it hard to take steps towards greatness in life, We all know your limit in life,

Better to be a failure than not knowing what you are, when you havent taking any step how can you be a winner,By then a failure would be more experienced than you, Then what would be of you, ? "NOTHING" cos you dont know where you are,

But as for risk takers and managers, No one can ever fathom our heights,

Politics / Re: Ogba Police Is Harassing Innocent People by ifababa(m): 9:23am On Sep 02, 2007
Just last week, my fiancee was arrested and bundled into a bus by this same area G policemen right on my street around 9pm while she was just strolling down the street to by some oranges with 50naira in her hand, putting on a boxers ,a short sleeved top and a bathroom slippers, As if that was not enough .they now took her around their whole raiding activity, as they call it to only have her released in front of the police station at around 1am,

Worse still, when she didnt have any money to pay them nor phone to call anyone,as she left her phone at home[my place] they collected the 50 naira she intended to use in buying orange from her and some of the policemen even asked to sleep with her right there in the bus after they'd released every other people that paid them ,which of course she refused causing them to leave her to walk[treck] down back to my place and exposing her to such harzards as one might get at that time of the day 1am for Gods sake,

Now for whitewash brained Mr soji oguns to say that police is your friend and 90% of people living in ogba are fraudsters, I suppose he also assumes that strolling down your street to buy an orange is also fraud, BULLSHIT !!!
Politics / Re: Ogba Police Is Harassing Innocent People by ifababa(m): 9:06am On Sep 02, 2007
@sojioguns

Its so very disgusting to have people like you around a problem stricken nation, Can you read all youve written at all ?, And you must be some damed, brain washed statistical analyst to say 90% of people in ogba are fraudsters, Ii think the right statement shoul be that 99% of police in ogba are corrupt, fraudsters and thieves , But id conclude that if you were in the police force you would have been a lot worse,

Do you now have to drive a car to avoid police harrasement, ? and do you think people that drive cars dont face their harrasement, ? What kind of work o you do in ogba in the first place, ?

Ive had ogba as my base the whole of my life, and men , i just dont know where to start my explanation of the cruelty and harrasement people have faced in this ogba area,

This big open mouthed sojioguns should have made mention of the fact that there was a bank robbery carried out by policemen of the area G police command ogba early this year, It made a national issue, after their arrest,

Now im beggining to think that soji ogun's father is a policeman in areaG , Cos no one that has actually worked or stayed in ogba would be ignorant of the maltreatment of the area G policethieves,

I think youre all not getting what this naira re-denomination is all about, Its not enough to redenominate 1naira to $1, But will the economic value of the currencies match up with themself, ?

Now i know that soludo has been drinking too much of late or been taking another brand of beer like someone said earlier and its been affecting his financial development strategies,

Music/Radio / Re: 2nd Thisday Music Festival - A Flop? by ifababa(m): 7:36am On Jul 21, 2007
The point is just that they are not professional enough, and the 1st thisday festival was a success because they involved a whole lot of professionals both local and foreign, For example the Afican events company{A, E.C] that handled th Sounds and lights had a split up with some of the major brains behind their Machines early this year.I was also one of the engineering crew from here, And then brains behind the admin that made it a success last year were also not involved maybe because they were trying to minimize costs,

Bros Eddy[Eddy Lawani] hasnt told me anything too so i doubt if he was also involved,

But as for the purpose of the concert last year i can tell you categorically that it wasnt a profit making one because after the show.all we crew had a gettogether for its succes and there the total expense was ecalared and waow'''it was the hihgest spent to organise any concert in the history of Africa, And it was well confirmed months after by international observers ,promoters and showbiz personnels, Thisday was only close to making a half of the total expended money from the sales of ticket, But the thing is the money didnt just come from them, There were so many sponsors, coporate bodies.financial institutions, named personnels etc,

Anyway i believe that after this they must have learnt their lessons that concerts and festivals organising is not just about winning on paper, but having the right people at the right place.Afterall they are just a bunch of journalists, lol wink wink smiley
