What do you want to do- work, study?

If you want to study, it may be possible to get cheap schools in Turkey, Germany, Finland, etc. Also, there may be scholarships you qualify for:

http://www.scholars4dev.com/category/field-of-study/

If you want to work, you have to be legally qualified, either by having an employer sponsor you (very difficult) or immigrating.

Clarify your intentions and people will be able to assist better.

It is very difficult these days to settle in the UK after studying.

You should consider places like Canada and Australia:

The best bet is for you (or herself) to check the relevant Isreali government websites. The embassy in Nigeria might also have information. Try google.

Sierra Leone is still recovering from their recent civil war, and is still facing tremendous economic and infrastructural challenges in the rebuilding process. Why not consider other West African countries, if you're looking to go and do business?
Travel / Re: How Best Do I Get Out Of Nigeria With My Family by ifegy: 8:54pm On Dec 16, 2013
You could look into immigrating as a skilled professional to places like Canada (https://www.nairaland.com/1279130/canadian-federal-skilled-worker-program-timelines; www.cic.gc.ca is the official Canadian government immigration site), Australia, Denmark, etc.

Also, if you go to a place like Canada to study, your wife can come along and work while you study, and you can apply to immigrate along the line.

Trying to get to Europe that way is signing your own death warrant. If anyone tells you otherwise, they don't wish you well. Google is your friend. Thousands have died just this year, trying what you are talking about. Please, please and please, be warned.
Travel / Re: Is There Any Nigerian In Lampedusa At The Moment? by ifegy: 9:35pm On Dec 15, 2013
Sounds like you're looking to cross the Sahara and seek asylum in Europe. Advice: don't do it. Even if you escape Al Qaeda and all the others looking to rob you/kill you in the desert, and survive the sea crossing in non-seaworthy boats, Europe is still in such bad shape economically that getting a job will be close to impossible. Please use the money for the journey for something better. For instance, there are schools in Europe where you can get a good degree for relatively low/almost free tuition (Finland, Germany, etc). That can be a pathway to a better life, either through immigrating to North America from Europe after your studies, or even getting a job in the European country, based o your degree and knowledge of the language.
All in all, please, please and please, whatever else you do, DO NOT embark on the Sahara suicide mission.

Libya is basically lawless right now...don't go there.

You have to provide evidence of funds to support yourself, whether it's your bank account or someone else's. And if it's someone else's, it has to be very clearly explained to the high commission WHY they have chosen to support you. Go to www.cic.gc.ca, the official Canadian Government site for immigration related matters, and read the information on visitor visa requirements.

@Op, in addition, put your toiletries away where she can't reach them. It's not hygienic to share things like roll-on.

Tell your friend to run for her life while she still has the chance. She can recover from a broken engagement, but there is no recovery from being beaten to death.

Well, he had better cut his losses and walk away, or else next thing he will hear is that he needs to send more money for additional 'visa processing'. After that, the scammers will just keep asking him for money until his eyes open. Next time, do things the right way. Go to the Malaysian Embassy if you want their visa; they are the only ones who can give you.
Travel / Re: Fake Malaysian Visa? by ifegy: 4:21pm On Dec 07, 2013
Sounds fishy...He sent his documents to a person in Malaysia, to do a visa application from within Malaysia, while he, the applicant, is outside Malaysia That's not the way it's done. You're supposed to apply for a visa to another country from your HOME country. This whole thing sounds like a scam

Thank you. Sounds like you get a different teller number for each transaction, then? I ask because I was trying to sign up on the Nigerian central securities clearing website (www.cscsnigeriaplc.com) and it asks for a teller number, which left me puzzled...Anyone have any clues about this

oeyy20: can anybody in the house help,

Is this hospital genuine, hartland specialist hospital ltd, plot 401, cadastral, off obafemi awolowo way, jabi district, garki, abuja. I was asked to pay N5000 to get employment.

Thanks.

Be very careful if anyone is asking you to pay BEFORE getting a job. That is usually a sign of a scam. The hospital itself may be genuine, but the person asking for the money is very likely seeking to scam you.
