Reverend Samuel Modupe Idowu was a dedicated advocate for education, despite facing barriers to pursuing higher education himself. He made it a priority to build a substantial library and instilled in his children the values of education, morality, and spirituality. Our foundation is aligned with his vision, as we strive to support underprivileged youth in their pursuit of these core values.

While many programs focus solely on academic achievement and leadership potential, our foundation takes it a step further. We seek out young individuals who have demonstrated determination, integrity, and perseverance in the face of adversity, as well as have significant financial needs.

Our objectives are as follows:
• To establish a scholarship program for qualified youth who are dedicated to pursuing higher education.
• To inspire and guide young individuals towards a faith-driven life.
• To honor the legacy of our father, Reverend Samuel Modupe Idowu.
Our ultimate vision is to contribute to the development of the next generation of transformational leaders who will make a positive impact on their communities and pass on the values of grace and kindness to future generations.

IMPORTANT REV. IDOWU FOUNDATION’S SCHOLARSHIP PROCESS DATES

Below are the important dates that you need to consider and mark in your calendar:

- Registration and application end midnight 29th June, 2023.
- Mock exam holds on Saturday 29th July, 2023 by 9 am (computer-based)
- Main qualifying exam holds on Saturday 5th August, 2023 by 9 am (also computer-based).
- For those who have already applied, they have till 31st August to upload their full documentation.
- Oral Interviews will hold on 23rd of September, 2023.
- Awards ceremony and the launching of the Reverend Idowu Foundation is on Tuesday Dec. 19th, 2023.

If you are applying, please note that you DO NOT need to submit all your documents (including your admission letter from a University to take the exams. You will have until 31st August to do so. All you need to sit for the exam is to register. But applicants who do not have ALL documents uploaded by 31st August will automatically be disqualified.
