Just wanted to point out. Hold some cash (like 1500 Euros) on your way, whether or not you are using the blocked account.
As you might need to pay rent et al before you're able to unblock your account.
If you can learn basic German too, so you don't have to start all conversations with "Do you speak English"

One more thing. Please buy a quality power extension with two pin. So you can plug you phones and laptops that are mostly 3pin without hassle.

It's small but, you don't want to pay 24 Euros(roughly 12k for an extension you would have bought 1,200 in Naija).

Those coming in summer, buy enough Tee Shirts and Jeans. It's quite expensive here, but for now sha. We can't rock them, na sweater go dey rush you.

Embassy sent me mail to forward my enrollment certificate or confirmation of enrollment. I only did the online enrollment and the school gave me extension tillb 31st Oct. I don't know why they are demanding for this when I am still in Nigeria and can't get the certificate until I have properly enrolled. Please has anyone fine thrru this before and the possible solution out of it

Print a copy of the extension mail. That's what they need

Who knows the current registration price for TOEFL/ielts test . Some figures on net says 50k others 70 and 67k

IELTS is currently 75k.

I had my interview on August 28th, Funded and sent blocking confirmation to the embassy 2 days later, yet to get AM from the embassy, mailed them since it was 4th week they replied me 6 days ago that they are yet to hear from the Alien office, then I tried to get hold of the alien office in Giesen for almost a week but they don’t speak English, to God be the glory I was able to get connected to their boss today and he said my financial document is missin , he gave me the alien office email, I sent it to him less than 30 minutes ago, he confirmed it and said they will verify the document and I should get intouch with him toward the end of next week I just hope they get this done before my enrollment deadline which is the 26th of this month, it’s been long waiting

Please send a mail to your school asking for extension of enrolment to somewhere around Mid Novemher. When your AM comes they will ask you to specify travel date which can't be before 26th(They insist you allow 10 days between AM/Sending yours Passport and travel date.
And since it won't before 26th, they will ask you for confirmation of extension from school.

Get it now, so it doesn't delay you further after your AM.

I mailed embassy here again and was told same thing.

I am a bit confused and worried as to next steps.

But first I need to be sure the alien office I am speaking to is the correct one.

University of gottingen people pls do they accept high court certification

I used court certified copies and got my admission.i wasn't even asked to send the certified copies afterwards.

The embassy in Lagos has said they haven't gotten feedback from the alien authority.
Any ideas what else to do?

Update: I spoke to the alien authority and was told they don't have my application. Now I am confused. Because the embassy here said they await feedback from the alien authority. Have been calling the embassy here the answering machine is not connecting me.

You've done what you supposed to do, keep on trusting God. If your enrolment is around the corner , you should consider asking them to extend it for you. You may need to prove to the Alien office/embassy that you can still meet up with your enrolment.
