Webmasters / Re: Any Reliable Coldfusion Hosting Company In Nigeria? by ihostafric: 6:54pm On Sep 26, 2011
I don't think it's business wise for any host in Nigeria to specialize in Coldfusion hosting as the market is very minute. Most people use PHP and to a smaller extent ASP. These are the markets to conquer.

But i guess it is wise for a service provisioning company to have a wide range of service to cover every intended customers needs and requirements, be it's old or outdated.

Especially companies that has the capacity and technical know how to do so.

Your name is dual core, we have a name to protect, as per ihostafrica, exchanging words with you under my company's ID is not a polite one, wait for my response under my ID ysiegel, then you will show your stunt technically.

you can write 1 million post for all i care if it makes no sense to me they are just waste of time, like i said tell us what you have done as a php guru and let people asses you, and stop picking on what other people have said then we will know if you are technically sound or not, everyone can see ihostafrica's website and they can comment, give us your own, even if it's your personal site, or tell us if you build nairaland, mark my word and everyone reading, Dualcore should come back here and post a site he has built or a project he has done php wise, then we will evaluate your competence, it is so dull of you to count investment out any business.

i am very sure you have not graduated from school when i start learning php, that is if you even graduate, i don't want to know how old you are, you are so small to evaluate my competence, but i will not drag the company i work for into this, watch out for ysiegel that's my personal ID and until you tell me what you have done or any of your post that make sense, as for me you are just an empty barrel.

Good Day.

LoLz, funny thread.

For those claiming they have coldfusion and can host CF, run the command below as root (if you dunno what that means, ask your "daddy" to run it for you) and post the output here.

#cd /opt/coldfusion[version]/bin
#./coldfusion start

If you can't come up with an output that shows coldfusion has started or failed to start cuz its already running, stay quiet this isn't some cPanel addon ish.

. . . may get dirty with this later on on a sandbox.

@Dualcore,

You kno what? you are just a baby, if you feel you know something, send me an email i have an assignment for you, people like you waste your time doing the unnecessary things around, why can't you come up here and give us projects you have run on cold fusion, that are live on the net, not your tokunbo system sandbox, i see you as someone disturbing the serious minds around in this forum, i am still expecting your response to what i ask you on the thread below
https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-754966.99999.html#bot

you are here again running your mouth and hand, come out and tell us the wonderful things you have done not to criticize what other people are putting in place.

You are just very immature in your reply. SSL is the first basic requirement for reliable online business that requires data collection. I am a proud reseller using hostgator dedicated servers yet with ssl. You need to read some books on web hosting before you start claiming martyr. You can make claims for all the offices in the world but if you cannot take a few hours to properly setup what people see about you then you need to grow up.

I just realized i don't need to drag anything with you, imagine you a reseller to hostgator telling someone that manage several servers what to do, i really dont know what you have checked to think our site is not secure, what are your own basic requirements for having SSL enabled on your site, you should have told us our site visitor should go through hell just to read content on our site, you try to make payment on any of our payment type and see if it is not secure, or go ahead and try something funny to see if it's secure or not, i don't know how funny it looks if your own customers have to go through hell with the erratic internet speed in nigeria to read an ordinary content.
if you are a proud reseller, give us your own hosting website, if you know you are an experienced hosting provider, please grow into your private server, i believe that is the only time we can see some sense of maturity in anything you say, as for now you can say anything you because you are just an ordinary reseller that depends on your service providers expertise, we have entrepreneurs like you that we support, i strongly you are not in the best position to tell us what is right especially in this hosting industry. WE ARE EXPECTING YOUR HOSTING URL IF YOU ARE A MAN AND YOU CLAIM THE EXPERIENCE YOU SAID YOU HAVE.

Ok lets do some homework before we have kids acquiring kids, making the room too noisy for adults.

ihostafrica.com
* No SSL
* Wiredtree servers (Leased managed server, no collocation)
* I have watched for a couple of business days and online support OFFLINE even during work hours. (if you have a functional office, why cant your livezilla be On when the office is open for business?)
* No RIPE IP address allocation

My humble conclusion.
You are not ready for your dreams but you will be ready one day. Do your homework, we like to see babies crawl before they walk . . . and then start running.
Produce happy customers of your own before looking out to acquire unhappy customers to make happy.

Nice publicity stunt.

@Dual Core,

This is one of the biggest issue with you guys that do think you know something, tell me exactly what your research has shown in terms of what ihostafrica has in terms of infrastructure or their ability.
I felt you only send out what you think should affect the name, but very wrong, ihostafrica did not just say what they can not, the resources we have is not just about the name, what do you know that Sailer Technologies has in their back end, if you are a good researcher you should have pointed out other things and what they are capable of doing, you were not even able to do reasearch and verify if they truly have office or offices.
i am very sure you have something tha attracted you to what John posted, if not you will not watch a busy company making their money day by day, to see if someone will come online or not, you should have tried to send them a mail or call any of the number.
all you mentioned above are nothing to evaluate how good or how big a hosting comapany, if you want to speak technical we should have seen something different here,
if you want to know how big we are or how good the support or any other services we offer, spend more time and try to visit our office, also in private send a mail to info@ihostafrica.com if you have a hosting company to sell or you need assistance in anyway.
By the way tell me 3 biggest hosting companies in the world that has time to get RIPE IP Allocation when they dont have their own data centers yet.
It really show the kid you are when you can not even identify how many servers ihostafrica operates on.

Take your time to learn more not to tarnish images, if you are not sure, give us your own hosting company url and let us tell you more about it than you can do.

I always say this, you can only know what we want you to know, thats how deep we are in our technical ability.
Web Market / Re: Web Hosting Companies in Nigeria by ihostafric: 5:46pm On May 26, 2011
www.ihostafrica.com lied on there website that " IHOSTAFRICA is currently hosting over 105,000 customers whose skills range anywhere from novice-level to experts. "
They lied and probably does not have up to 3 customers. Visit here to check http://whois.domaintools.com/ihostafrica.com. Infact whois shows they only have 2 domains and the website was created Created:2011-02-21, Expires:2012-02-21.

I wonder how a website created on 2011-02-21 suddenly has 105,000 hosting.
Why don't you grow your business on truth.
Please beware of fake hosting company like this.

@bewareof, it also shows totally that you registered into Naira land and purposely wants to comment on ihostafrica.com, we are not new in the hosting industry, and we mean every bit of what we put on our site, if you need statistics call our office line, what you commented on is a comment from one of our customers that has used the service and confimed how competent we are, ihostafrica is just a brand in portfolio of sailertech www.sailertech.com, we have several others, we are an information technology with proven track records, what you get about us on the net is what we want out mind you, we are the only hosting provider in Nigeria that has a cross platform servers across data centers, we don't buy VPS we collocate our servers, get busy to find more about us.
We would consider a buy if you are not making a lot out of your hosting business, we can also transfer you to our servers for free within 24hrs.
Also people should also beware of posters that always has time to rubbish other people's business, it also shows you registered the same day you commented on our customers post and since then you have not come back to post any other.
People should also check bewareof statistic on this link https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=674928

People beware of mis direction from people and also be on the look out, he will soon come back and post about a company he recommended.
