Police have arrested a 23 year old girl who allegedly conspired with her 31 year old boyfriend to rape her close friend while she records it.

Ogun state Police officers arrested a girl, Eniola Shittu and her boyfriend, David Peremobowe, after they conspired for the rape of a close friend (name withheld).

According to spokesman of the command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspect, a resident of Ikopa Tuntun Abiola-way, Abeokuta, was nabbed for conspiring with Peremobowe to commit the act.

“The suspects were arrested following a report lodged by the victim at Obantoko Division that she was at home on July 24, at about 1:45p.m. when her friend, Eniola Shittu, sent message to her on WhatsApp that she should help her buy food and ‘skushis’ and bring to her boyfriend’s house at Somorin area of Obantoko, Abeokuta.

“On getting there, the boyfriend, Peremobowe offered her a bottle of beer, which she took but immediately she finished taking the beer, she became very weak as a result of which Peremobowe unlawfully had carnal knowledge of the victim, and while he was doing it, her friend, Shittu used her phone to do the video recording of how she was being raped.

“On the strength of her complaint, the DPO Obantoko Division, SP Olasunkanmi Popoola, detailed detectives to the boy’s house, where Peremobowe and his girlfriend, Shittu were promptly arrested. The Gionee handset with which the video coverage was made was also recovered,” Oyeyemi said.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Bashir Makama, has however ordered the transfer of the suspects to the anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the state investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and possible prosecution.

Sharing her own experience, OAP Kayla Oniwo recalled being drained emotionally, mentally and physically without knowing she had toxic people around her.

The signs of toxic people are pretty much a combination of being manipulative, controlling, self-centered , judgmental, rarely apologetic ( I know some who do) , constantly putting others down ( often times directly or indirectly).

Another major sign of toxic people is that they make you prove yourself to them, choose them over someone else, or something they want over something you want.

Often, this turns into a “divide and conquer” dynamic in which the only choice is them, even to the point of requiring you to cut off other meaningful relationships to satisfy them. Does this remind you of anyone?

Some people possess all the qualities mentioned above while others may have one or two . If you cannot completely BE YOURSELF with your friends or partner , then know that you are in a toxic situation.

An Indian man who was bitten by a snake got his revenge on the reptile by biting it back, killing it and chewing it into pieces, the man’s father told newsmen on Monday.

The man, Raj Kumar, was relaxing at home, enjoying a drink on Sunday, when a snake slithered into his house in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, and bit him, said his father.

“A snake bit him. So, in turn, he bit it and chewed it into pieces,” said the father, Babu Ram about the bizarre incident.

Rajkumar, who hails from Etah’s Asrauli village, was drunk when he bit the snake, India Today reported.

“My son was drunk. A snake entered into our home and bit him. And later he bit the snake and crunched it into pieces. His condition is serious. We are unable to afford his treatment expenses,” Babu Ram, father of Raj Kumar told reporters.
The man’s family took him to hospital where media said his condition was critical.

The snake that bit him was reported to have been a rat snake, which experts regard as usually not venomous.

“This is definitely weird,” said Raj Kumar’s doctor, N.P. Singh.

“A patient came to me and said that he bit a snake. I misunderstood as the snake bit him. His condition is serious. He has been referred to another hospital,” Singh said.

“I’ve seen people coming in with snakebites, but never somebody who bit a snake and then brought it with him in a bag.”

A College student identified as Deniesa Murdaugh was saved from being shot dead at the Brookyn Block Party shooting on Saturday July 27, by her bra.

The shooting occurred before 11 p.m on day two of the popular block party, holding at a playground area of the Brownsville Recreational Center at the intersection of Christopher and Hegeman avenues in New York.

“We’re here because something happened that shouldn’t have happened,” Mayor de Blasio said at a press conference at the scene of the shooting Sunday.

“What happened last night interrupted an event, the Old Timers’ event, that had been held successfully and peacefully for decades, interrupted a moment that up until that time had been an example of everything good about the Brownsville community.”

“I want to make really clear this tragedy does not define Brownsville, does not define the people of Brownsville, does not define what is happening on the ground in a community that has worked so hard and come so far,” he added.

About 2,000 people were in the area for the neighborhood’s annual “OldTimers” event and it was learnt that a total of seven men and five women were struck in the shooting.

A thick brassiere however saved one of the party’s attendees as she was only grazed in the back by a bullet.

“When we turned around to run I heard two shots go off and I was hit in my back,” 21-year-old Murdaugh said.

“I was on the floor panicking. I couldn’t breathe. Everyone was surrounding me. My heart was racing. I was feeling faint. I couldn’t stand up.
“They said basically my bra saved me. If my bra wasn’t there, it would’ve went further into the skin.”

Police have made no arrests and are asking the public’s help in identifying and locating the shooters.

“If anyone has any video before the event, during the event, before the shooting, during the shooting and maybe after the shooting, please, please turn that over to us,” O’Neill said.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) on Thursday closed the Kaduna office of South African Telecommunication giant, MTN, over xenophobic attacks in South Africa and the killings of 118 Nigerians in the last two years over there.

NANS’ Director, Travels and Exchange, Mr Dominic Philip explained in Kaduna that the step was necessary to curb further attacks, looting, destruction and mindless killings of African nationalities, particularly Nigerians in South Africa.

Philip recalled that Nigeria had contributed morally, financially, diplomatically and logistically to the agitations that eventually led to the emancipation of South Africans from Whites’ domination.

The NANS official also said that African countries, led by Nigeria, helped in the institutionalisation of black majority rule in South Africa in 1994.

He equally said that Nigeria played a big brotherly role by opening economic opportunities for South African citizens to invest in the Nigerian market, the biggest market in Africa.

Philip, however, noted with dismay, that instead of reciprocating the gesture, South Africa had allowed Nigerians to suffer all forms of discrimination, including murder and looting of their businesses.

According to him, NANS will no longer align with the Nigerian government’s diplomatic approach, which is cosmopolitan and reconciliatory on the issue.

“Available record has shown that the levels of attacks on Nigerians is on astronomical rise, with the recent killing of Nigerian by South Africans, on July 20 increasing the number to 118 in the last two years.

“Out of this number, 13 were reportedly killed by South African Police in an extra-Judicial manner.
“It appears that the South African government is incapable of bringing their citizens to order and stop the killings, leaving us with no option than to picket South African businesses in Nigeria until the killing is stopped.

“We, therefore, want the South African government to investigate and provide accurate number of Nigerians so far killed and prosecute perpetrators of xenophobic attacks to ensure justice for the victims.

“We equally want the government to generate data of all Nigerians, whose properties were bunt or looted for immediate compensation.” NAN quoted him as saying.

Philip added that NANS equally demanded that all South African businesses in Nigeria be closed pending sufficient proof that Nigerians living anywhere in South Africa were safe and are allowed to do their businesses freely.

A Louisiana man was arrested by the police, barely a day after he fled home after his wife walked in on him raping a 9-year-old girl left in his care.

42-year-old Glenn Mills Jr reportedly fled home in his pickup truck before officers could arrive, after his wife dialled 911.

The suspect was arrested at a house in Harvey – about a 40 mile drive away the next day, and was slammed with a first-degree rape charge and one aggravated charge of a crime against nature.

Femi Falana, Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist has sounded a note of warning to the Buhari government on the implications of detaining Shiite leader, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, along with his wife, despite court orders for his release.

The legal luminary said the nation risks another insurgency, should El Zakzaky die in detention, just like it happened with Boko Haram after the leader, Mohammed Yusuf was killed by Nigerian policemen, while in detention in Maiduguri in 2009.

“El-Zakzaky must not be allowed to die due to medical neglect as it may provoke a crisis of monumental proportions. Therefore, the federal government should implement the unanimous resolution of the House of Representatives for the release of El-Zakzaky and his wife without any further delay”, Falana warned in a lengthy statement on Tuesday.

He warned the Federal Government of Nigeria against its violent approach to handling members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria who are protesting the detention of their leader, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, despite numerous court orders for his release.

Falana expressed concerns over the method the Federal Government had adopted in a statement on Tuesday. The legal luminary said the continuous detention of El-Zakzaky and killing of peaceful Shiite protesters by security forces could lead the country into another bloody war that it could not afford.

“This nation cannot afford another war of insurgency which is being provoked by the contemptuous conduct of the Federal Government in the handling of the case of the El-Zakzakys,” Falana said.

Speaking on the arrest and detention of El-Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zeinab on December 12, 2015, Falana said over 1,000 Shiites were reportedly massacred by soldiers on the orders of the Nigerian Army high command and given mass burial in an unmarked grave in Mango village, Kaduna State over allegations of attempt to assassinate Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai.

“Even though the leader of the Shiites, Sheik Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, was not at the scene of the attack, his residence was invaded by the rampaging troops two days later. The troops set the house ablaze, shot at El-Zakzaky and his wife, Malama Zeinab El-Zakzaky and killed three of their sons in cold blood in their presence.

As if such barbaric assault was not enough, the army arrested and held El-Zakzaky and his wife in custody before handing them over to the Department of State Services. At that stage, the houses of El-Zakzaky and other leaders in Zaria were demolished by the Kaduna state government on the orders of Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

“After the massacre of the Shiites and the demolition of the houses of their leaders, the Kaduna state government instituted a judicial commission of inquiry to probe the violent attack.

“The detained El-Zakzaky was prevented from responding to the allegations made against him and his group at the inquiry. But the judicial commission found that there was no plan by the Shiites to assassinate General Buratai. It was also revealed at the panel that the 347 Shiites were massacred by the army in violations of the Army Rules of Engagement and the Geneva Conventions.

“Apart from condemning the brutal massacre of the Shiites, the judicial commission recommended that the culprits be prosecuted.

“Instead of implementing the recommendation by prosecuting the well-known murderers the Kaduna state government turned round to charge over 300 Shiites with the culpable homicide of a soldier who was killed by his colleagues during the attack. But the defence team convinced the Kaduna state high court to free the Shiites as they were not involved in the commission of the offence.

“Accordingly, the charge was dismissed for want of evidence while the trial court proceeded to discharge and acquit all the defendants. Meanwhile, the suit challenging the illegal detention of El-Zakzaky and his wife was decided in their favour by the federal high court on December 2, 2016.

“The presiding judge, Kolawole J. (as he then was) directed the Federal Government to release the couple from unlawful custody, pay them N50 million reparation and provide them with a temporary house since the army had burnt down their residence. But the Buhari regime has characteristically treated the court orders with arrogant contempt.

Curiously, the Court of Appeal has refused to hear the application to commit the Director-General of the State Security Service for contempt of court! Upon our legal advice, the Shiites approached three separate high courts to challenge the violation of their right to assemble and protect peacefully.”

He added that despite the orderly nature in which the Shiites had conducted themselves, the Federal Government, through the army, was operating with impunity to disrupt the group’s peaceful protests.

“The Shiites won the cases against the Federal Government as the courts upheld their fundamental rights to freedom of expression, association, and assembly. But out of sheer impunity, the army has killed about 50 Shiites at Abuja for protesting against the continued detention of El-Zakzaky and his wife.

“As the federal government could no longer justify the illegal detention of El-Zakzaky and his wife it directed the Kaduna state government to file a charge against them. Hence, they have been charged with culpable homicide at the Kaduna state high court for the death of the same soldiers.

“Pending the trial, the team of local and international physicians who examined El-Zakzaky and his wife on the orders of the trial court confirmed that their health has deteriorated and recommended that they are allowed to travel abroad for urgent medical treatment. In particular, El-Zakzaky has lost an eye while he is the process of losing the other one.

“The wife can no longer walk as a result of the gun wounds inflicted on her during the military attack of December 2015. Without adducing any reason whatsoever the federal government has ignored the recommendation of the physicians.

“The Shiites are currently protesting the refusal of the Buhari regime to release El-Zakzaky and his wife from custody to enable them to travel abroad to receive urgent medical treatment at their own expense.

“El-Zakzaky must not be allowed to die due to medical neglect as it may provoke a crisis of monumental proportions. Therefore, the federal government should implement the unanimous resolution of the House of Representatives for the release of El-Zakzaky and his wife without any further delay.

“Finally, it would be recalled that the Boko Haram sect declared war on the people of Nigeria in 2009 following the cold murder of its leader, Mohammed Yusuf by the Police. Since then the nation has known no peace. This nation cannot afford another war of insurgency which is being provoked by the contemptuous conduct of the federal government in the handling of the case of the El-Zakzaky.”

“I think they thought that she said ‘marijuana’ because we are from south Georgia and kind of have an accent. Davis said she and her family found the mix-up humorous.

A school teacher in Arizona, the South-West region of United States of America, Brittany Zamora, has been convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for having sex with her underage pupil.

According to the Punch metro, Zamora, who has since been dismissed from her job, had pleaded guilty to ‘improper behaviour’ with her 13-year-old pupil.

She admitted to 10 counts of sexual misconduct with the pupil, in addition to two counts of child molestation and another two counts of exposing him to sexually explicit materials.

Twenty-eight-year-old Zamora is married, and had worked as a sixth-grade teacher from Las Brisas Academy in Arizona until 2018 when her victim’s parents saw an offensive text messages on their son’s phone. Zamora owned up to sending the message.

The parents told prosecutors that they regularly monitor their son’s phone with an app.

“In one such text message, the teacher told the 13-year-old student she wanted to have sex with him every day with no time limit,” prosecutors said.

“The boy also replied to her and even sent love notes in class with ‘U R SEXY’ written on them,” the Police added.

They subsequently exchanged a series of sexually explicit text messages until the boy’s parents became aware of the relationship.

The underage boy admitted to having sex with Zamora and she was reported to the school and police.

The boy said their relationship started in a classroom chat group when his teacher started flirting with him and began sending him naked pictures of herself.

The teacher and the boy had sex in Zamora’s car, as well as in one of the classrooms in the academy while a classmate of the teen kept a lookout.

“Brittany Zamora betrayed our trust and changed (him) forever. Before, he was an innocent child, and now she stole his innocence from him.

“I hate Brittany Zamora for what she did to my son and family,” the boy’s mother said in a victim impact statement read to the court.

A Louisiana woman wanted for second-degree murder was apparently unhappy with the photo officials used on social media to help bring her into custody and she decided to vent.

“That picture ugly,” Precious Landry, who was still at large at the time, commented on her mugshot uploaded to the St. Martin Crime Stoppers Facebook page last month.

“Precious Landry you are always welcome to head over to the Sheriff’s Office and take a new picture if you want. Or you can just wait to take it when someone turns you in to collect on the $1,000 reward” Crime Stoppers responded.

Soon after, the post was updated to say Landry had turned herself into law enforcement. “Thanks for all your tips and information.”

According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, over the weekend, Liberty police were searching for a Missouri man who had a warrant out for his arrest.. The person was wanted for possession of a controlled substance.

“If you’ve got a felony warrant for your arrest, the cops are looking for you and you pass gas so loud it gives up your hiding spot, you’re definitely having a [poop emoji] day,” the Clay County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post, which included the hashtag “#ItHappened.”

A local TV station requested more information on the case and the sheriff’s office responded on Facebook with, “the person was arrested over the weekend on a Clay County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. We’ve gotta give props to Liberty (Missouri) PD for using their senses to sniff him out!”

The official Twitter account of the City of Liberty also poke fun at the incident.

“The Liberty Police Department was surprised to see this incident slip out, which stinks for the arrestee,” the city wrote in a post on Twitter. “Fortunately, no one was injured during his arrest.”

The city also thanked the sheriff’s department for “airing out a wanted person’s dirty laundry and fanning the flames.”

Five boats believed to belong to Iranian Revolutionary Guards approached a British oil tanker in the Gulf on Wednesday and asked it to stop in Iranian waters close by, but withdrew after a British warship warned them, U.S. officials said.

Britain’s Ministry of Defence had no immediate comment.

The incident occurred almost a week after British Royal Marines boarded an Iranian tanker, Grace 1, off Gibraltar and seized it on suspicion that it was breaking sanctions by taking oil to Syria.

Earlier on Wednesday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Britain would face “consequences” over the seizure of the Iranian tanker.

Tensions between Iran and the United States and its allies have risen sharply since Washington stepped up economic sanctions against Iran and moved to bring the country’s oil exports to zero as part of a “maximum pressure” policy to make Iran halt actions that it said undermined regional security.

Iran has responded to the sanctions by starting to breach limits put on its nuclear activities under a 2015 deal with world powers.

Several oil tankers were attacked in waters near Iran’s southern coast in May and June, for which the United States blamed Iran. Tehran denied any involvement.

Last month, Iran shot down a U.S. drone near the Strait of Hormuz, prompting President Donald Trump to order retaliatory air strikes, only to call them off.

The U.S. officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said Wednesday’s incident happened as British Heritage was at the northern entrance of the Strait of Hormuz.

“The Royal Navy HMS Montrose, which was also there, pointed it guns at the boats and warned them over radio, at which point they dispersed,” one of the officials said.

Having too few “friendly” vaginal bacteria may increase a woman’s chance of ovarian cancer, and swabs can be used to spot this, say researchers .

Vaginal Bacteria – The team, led by University College London, hope the finding could be used to identify women at high risk of the cancer, which has no screening test.

However, they say that more work is needed to explore this.

It is too soon to recommend women should be given protective doses of the good bacteria, they say.

The work, which is published in the Lancet Oncology , was funded by money from the government’s tampon tax , as well as grants from the EU and the Eve Appeal charity.

About ovarian cancer

More than 7,300 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year in the UK.

Diagnosing it early improves the chances of successful treatment, but the symptoms – bloating and discomfort – can be mistaken for more common, less serious conditions, such as menstrual cramps or irritable bowel syndrome.
Many women are not diagnosed until the cancer has already started to spread.

If your doctor thinks your symptoms could be due to ovarian cancer they will recommend blood tests and scans.

The exact cause of ovarian cancer is unknown, but certain factors increase a woman’s risk: age, a family history of ovarian or breast cancer and being overweight.

Now researchers believe micro-organisms living inside our bodies may also play a role.

There is growing scientific evidence that the community of bacteria and other microbes that reside inside us – our microbiome – influence our wellbeing and health.

One species of beneficial bacteria that is thought to be particularly important in the vagina is called lactobacillus.

Experts believe it stops other unhelpful or bad microbes from taking up residence and causing harm.

The study involved 176 women with ovarian cancer, 109 with inherited high-risk genes for ovarian cancer (BRCA1 genes) and 295 women with no known genetic risk.

The women were examined and samples taken using the same collection method used in cervical screening.

Lactobacilli levels were significantly lower in the women under 50 with ovarian cancer or high-risk cancer genes.

What do the findings mean?
It is not clear whether this link is causal or if other factors might explain it, or how much of an impact it has on risk.

Helen Callard, from Cancer Research UK, said: “The microbiome is a really interesting area of research and we’re slowly putting pieces together about how our natural bacteria might affect our health. But when interpreting research like this, association doesn’t mean causation.

“There are several factors that could influence the risk of ovarian cancer, and different things that can affect the make-up of vaginal bacteria – and it’s not always easy to separate these elements. So we need to know how vaginal bacteria might directly affect the risk of developing ovarian cancer. Or whether it’s a different factor entirely.”

Alexandra Holden, from Target Ovarian Cancer, said: “Before women become concerned about the bacteria in their vagina, more research is required to better understand how the vaginal microbiome may contribute to ovarian cancer, and find better ways to detect the disease. In the meantime, it is crucial for women to be aware of the symptoms, and to visit the GP with any concerns.”

The investigators believe good bugs provide a protective barrier to other infections, stopping them from travelling up the gynaecological tract to the fallopian tubes and ovaries.

Researcher Prof Martin Widschwendter said:

“We do not yet know for sure whether low levels of the beneficial bacteria leads to an increased risk of ovarian cancer, but that is what we suspect.

“It fits with other research. It’s been shown that women who use excessive vaginal hygiene products have lower levels of this bacterium too, and they are at increased risk of ovarian cancer.

An intruder has reportedly broken into the Buckingham Palace in Britain.

Buckingham Palace – The incident took place at about 2:00 am this morning while Queen Elizabeth slept just metres away from the trespasser.

The Sun reported that the 22-year-old man climbed over the fence and was able to bang on the doors of the royal residence.

Police on site took around four minutes to detain him as they tried to assess if he was armed, the paper said.

Doors to the 93-year-old monarch’s home are locked up in the early hours of the morning, but
the trespasser was unable to get inside.

The royal standard flag was flying at the palace, which could have given the invader a clue that the Queen was at home.

A royal insider told The Sun: ‘This intruder got into the Palace almost 37 years to the day since Michael Fagan ended up getting inside the Queen’s bedroom.

The Queen was understood to be the only senior royal sleeping in the palace.

‘There is a genuine theory and very real fear that he could have been launching a copycat operation.

‘How is it possible all these years later that someone can climb the fence and get right inside the grounds without being stopped immediately?

‘What about heat censors and CCTV? The Queen’s safety should be paramount.’

Scotland Yard said the man was arrested on suspicion of trespass and was held at around 2am by officers from the Met’s Royalty and Specialist Protection Command.

He was not found in possession of any offensive weapons and the incident is not being treated as terrorism-related.

The healing process for a traumatized, sexually assaulted and physically abused girl-child is not a happy walk along wedding aisles. No daughter should experience the upheavals of distress at childhood or any age. It takes years to unleash the pain within and letting it travel through the breeze and time of existence. Time is painful. Time is the truth. Time also heals.

The deep scars remain as reminders of a bridge not too far, yet an agony at crossings. I needed to find peace and everlasting consolation within me. I have finally found the strength to begin healing from the trauma of my childhood years.

I was just 11 years old. Perhaps some may not believe my story. Others would empathize and move on. But you would not understand until it happened to you. However, there is healing of letting go and starting life anew when we learn to share our unforgotten pain.

My name is Tolu Meduna. I was sexually assaulted and physically abused by the Pastor of a new Pentecostal church we joined, after my dad died and mom had to resign her job from Papermill Clinic in Jebba.

This Is My Story – Tolu Meduna

A few years after my father’s death, his clinic and other businesses closed down. The paper mill company my mother worked for started to have financial challenges. It was the only paper mill that sustained our livelihood. She carried the burden of caring for our family when my father passed away. Mother comforted us with the words of God and the church became our safe sanctuary those years of “widowhood”.

So when the Paper mill closed down finally, my mother moved us out of that town to seek a better life and employment opportunity. We relocated to Lagos State. We settled into a new life at a suburb of Lagos city with almost nothing: life was different from where we were coming from. Mother was eager to introduce us to the church she found in our new town: she said its teachings and traditions were structured in the ways of the Bible.

She thought she found one when she picked this very popular Pentecostal church (then regarded as one of the top three Pentecostal churches in the country) as our church and spiritual temple.

The church and the Pastor became our extended family. Mother had no reason not to trust the pastor and other ‘righteous members’ of the church. So every Sunday and midweek, we religiously attended services.

My family was also involved in activities of the church as set forth by the church’s administration. We had no reason not to trust any member, especially the Pastor. He was the “oracle” and regarded so by the congregation.

One of the highlights of the week’s services of the church was its “Deliverance services”, scheduled a few days of the week and conducted by the Pastor. There were also special and private deliverance sessions.

Deliverance services were when believers came into the church, conducted loud prayer sessions, then withdrew within themselves, speaking in tongues, supposedly went into trance or what in modern religion is known as “Deliverance”.
One early morning, mom suddenly woke my older sister and me from our sleep.

She persuaded us to get ready because she would like to take us to see Pastor for prayers. Her reason was that our new pastor’s prayer was better than the old neighborhood church “Jelenge prayer” we used to offer at my birth church: that his prayer was capable of even making me pass my common entrance exams. Oh! I was so eager to follow her.

I hurriedly dressed and we went to church. I later realized that mother actually brought me because she had complained to the Pastor that I was very stubborn, so he asked her to bring me to see him for prayers.

So that morning, we arrived at the Church premises and went to the Pastor’s office. Mom knocked at the door and he came and opened the door. As the door opened, it revealed two men standing in the room; an elder of the church and the pastor. He ushered us into his office and asked my mother which one of her daughters was a stubborn child. She quickly handed me over to him as she affirmed it was me.

Meanwhile, the elder left and the pastor told my mom to remain outside with my sister the ‘gentle one’. I felt betrayed when mom identified me to him as the stubborn daughter.

He was a stranger.

He then took only me inside his main office . He shut the door behind those I trusted most in my life at that time. I wasn’t stubborn, I just wished she could travel through my young mind then. I was mourning the death of my father, I missed my dad. I was in pains. I was in a torture of losing my father at such a young age, I was confused.

I hid my pains and acted them out with my attitudes when I felt misunderstood.

After he shut the door behind my family, we were alone: just the two of us: an 11-year-old innocent baby girl and a sick nasty and fraudulent Pastor, abusing and assaulting his church members in the name of deliverance.

He asked me to kneel down; he removed his trouser’s belt as I bent my knees to the floor: the satanic Pastor asked if I was a virgin, during his Deliverance session with me, an 11 -year old child. I said yes.

Suddenly, his dark face turned cloudy, ugly and angry. I thought to myself: that as a father, as a man of God that could do no wrong (that was how brainwashed we were about Pastors, then). I thought he should be happy for me for being a Virgin.

He approached me closer and instructed me to raise my blouse above my chest, that it revealed my breast. I did and exposed my young breasts. I was 11 and about to experience a significant hormone change: My puberty period was within the distance of my human dignity.

But as a man of God and a father figure, I did not think of what he was about to do to me when he asked me to pull my clothes up, exposing my breasts. He grabbed my breasts with his wickedly filthy hands. He began to caress them so painfully and ferociously. He was wild.

I was immediately consumed by fear. The pains of him squeezing pathetically and painfully made me scream ; (thank God he didn’t cover my mouth) my innocent mother, had probably thought it was deliverance that was happening to me.

Suddenly one angel (the elder that saw us arrive) rushed into the Deliverance room and that was how I was rescued from his sexual assault of my body. He desecrated my young temple; a gift privileged me by my creator.

An Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State on Wednesday remanded a 65-year-old security guard, Alilu Abubakar, in Kirikiri prison for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.

Chief Magistrate B.O. Osunsanmi, who did not take the plea of the defendant, ordered the police to return the case file to the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice.

Osunsanmi adjourned the case until Aug. 26 pending the DPP’s advice.

The police filed a rape charge against Abubakar, who resides in Red Gate House, Opposite LASU, Ojo in Lagos.

The Police Prosecutor, ASP Ezekiel Ayorinde, had told the court that Abubakar committed the offence at his residence on June 27.

He alleged that the defendant raped the minor in an uncompleted building, NAN reports.
The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of Sections 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

A Rivers State High Court in Port Harcourt has sentenced one Obilor Felix to six years imprisonment without an option of fine for sexual abuse and exploitation of an eight-year-old girl in Ahoada West.

Obilor Felix was said to have committed the crime on June 26, 2010 at Edeoha community in Ahoada West Local government area and was first arraigned in court on October 10, 2011.

The trial Judge, Justice George Omereji in his judgment admitted all evidences presented by the prosecuting counsel, which proved the accused guilty and thereafter sentenced Obilor Felix to prison.

State Counsel, Deinma Tamuno-Opubo welcomed the judgment, saying that the pieces of evidence tendered in court was enough to commit the offender to prison.

Tamuno-Opubo, who expressed concern of the level of defilement and rape, encouraged other victims of sexual abuse to speak up so that justice will take its cause.

Counsel to Obilor Felix declined to speak on the judgement.

14-year-old girl and her boyfriend were arrested in Taiping, Malaysia on Sunday, for murdering the girl’s brother, who was reported missing on Friday.

The body of the girl’s 16-year-old brother, with slash wounds to the neck and hands, was found wrapped in plastic behind an empty house in Taman Glenview, Kamunting at 12.18pm on Sunday.

Taiping police chief Assistant Commissioner Osman Mamat said the family had lodged a missing person’s report on Friday after the victim did not return home from school.

Following the discovery of the body, police picked up the girl and her 15-year-old boyfriend at 4.25pm today to facilitate investigations.
“Upon questioning, they admitted to the killing.” he said.

Initial investigations revealed that a fight had broke out between the three of them after the victim found a phone belonging to his sister’s boyfriend, in his home.

“It was believed that the girl had brought her boyfriend home on the day of the incident but both of them left abruptly after the victim came home.” Mamat said.

“When the victim found the handphone, he told the girl’s boyfriend to pick it up himself.
A fight was believed to have broke out between them leading to the murder,” he added.

The body has been sent to the Rsja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh for post-mortem.
