Good morning and welcome, although I see a lot of container houses in the east, it's usually construction companies that I see that build them. It will be interesting to see a container house built for domestic use in the east. I will be waiting to see what you come up with.

Thanks for your kind response.

My Note 5 that stopped working after it dropped into water could not be fixed by the phone engineer.
When saw that the phone charges but the screen does come on. He suggested that he check if a new screen would work. Which did not. He then suggested that it could be an engine problem as he couldn't see any sign of it ever drenched in water(I had placed it in raw rice for some days) and that I go to Carlcare and I was asked to pay about 30k for its repairs.
Now this does not make any business sense to me. Moreso the last time I sent my phone it came back working but with skoi skoi. And kept malfunctioning. Despite the huge sum paid for the repairs.
Useful suggestions needed here

Help!
My note 5 fell in water yesterday.
I switched it off and allowed it to dry in the sun.
Few hours (in the evening) I brought it in switched it on and it was working perfectly. Only for me to find it off in the night. I went to plug it in charger thinking the battery had ran down. The blue light is showing that it is charging but the phone is no longer coming
on.
Just dipped it in a bucket of hygroscopic uncooked rice.
Advice and similar positive testimonies needed

GLeesMODEL:
The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon Emeka Ihedioha’s campaign train yesterday met face to face with the that of the United Progressive Party, UPP, governorship candidate, Hon Tony Chinedu Nwulu at Mbaise land.

According to an eyewitness, the two brothers who were former and current members of the nation’s legislative chamber embraced each other as their gubernatorial campaign convoy crossed.
Like a flash, Ihedioha and Nwulu greeted each other standing onto of their campaign buses and continued their chase for available votes across the Mbaise nation to the admiration of their supporters and onlookers.

The UPP governorship candidate has been on the campaign trail in recent times visiting some local governments and has engaged in mutual discussions with key and strategic groups and associations across the State.

Among all the frontline contenders for the gubernatorial elections in Imo State, Hon Tony Chinedu Nwulu is a tick-all-boxes.

The political dynamics and permutations in Imo state favour him as the man with the Midas touch that will unite all divisive interests and satisfy the yearnings and aspirations of all Imolites in the next political dispensation. Perhaps that explains why he has been dubbed Imo’s ideal “Unity Governor” for 2019

Beautiful!!!!!!
This is how it should be.
My preferred candidate is Hon Nwulu but feelers from Imolites is that only PDP and Ihedioha can out muscle the incubent.
Who ever thinks that a divided Apc(AA) will win the guber election is a greenhorn in Imo politics.
Even if the most unlikely happens (buhari wins) Imolites will not opt for Nwosu, uzodinma nor Ararume.
If you are sure you are sure.

its a local dog mixed with a masstiff

You speak with so much authority. But as equally wrong

Check out this dog and suggest what breed mix it is to authenticate your dog breeding authority?

One mistake I made with joch was that I don't know its parents.
The person i bought her from had four pure boerbulls(although she Knows little about dogs). Her husband is a dog lover and sent 4 pups more pups from a State in North Central.
I just assumed it to be a S/A mastiff

I wanted to cross it with a sire with pure boerbull genes.
Since I noticed that she's a mix.

Even though no one has been able to tell me what's in the mix.
I suspect boerbull & Alsatian combo

More pics of Joch & Ghost.

Pinnick's words in the aftermath of Nigeria's FIFA Ban Escape...

“The position of His Excellency, and that of the Federal Government, which was conveyed to FIFA by His Excellency, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (GCON) has convinced FIFA that Nigeria is indeed ready as ever to follow FIFA’s Statutes. I want to also use this opportunity to thank the Vice President, who as Acting President, played a very key role in the resolution of the matter,

“Our appreciation also goes to the Members of the Federal Executive Council, Members of the National Assembly, Heads of the various Security Agencies, Members of the NFF Congress, all our sponsors/partners, football stakeholders, analysts and ball fans who stood solidly by the tenets of association football.” ‎

Pinnick, also the 1st Vice President of CAF and Member of the Organizing Committee for FIFA Competitions, disclosed that the immediate focus of the Federation is on the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, starting with an away game against Seychelles on 7th September, and with home-and-away matches against Libya in October and another away fixture against South Africa in November.

“We will approach the matches one game at a time. Our objective is not only to qualify for the finals, but for the Super Eagles to also make a meaningful impact at the finals in Camerooon in the summer of next year,” Pinnick, who is also President of the AFCON Organizing Committee added.

He affirmed also that focus is on the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for Ghana in November and for which the Super Falcons, reigning champions, have qualified, as well as the 2019 U20 and U17 Africa Cup of Nations championships billed for Niger Republic and Tanzania respectively.

While commending Enyimba FC of Aba and its chairman, NFF Executive Committee Member Felix Anyansi-Agwu for their brilliant outing in Bamako at the weekend that has paved the way for qualification for the quarter finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, Pinnick charged the team not to relent but instead go all out to defeat Club Athletique Renaissance Aiglons of Congo in Aba next week to assure of progress.

The former Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission used the opportunity to reiterate the long –term vision of the Federation, hinged on youth football development and financial autonomy.

“Our vision, as we have espoused from Day One, is to build a sustainable football culture for our dear nation. To do that, youth development is key. That is what we are trying to do with the U15 squad which recently reached the final of the African Youth Games in Algeria, and which will form the bulk of the next U17 National Team,”he stated.

“In the area of corporate support, we want to thank all our sponsors and partners for their love and patience during the crisis. AITEO Group, Coca Cola, Zenith Bank, Nigerian Breweries PLC, TGI Group, Emzor Pharmaceuticals, NIKE, WAPIC Insurance, Cadbury Nigeria PLC and 1XBET have done remarkably well.

“They have ensured that from about the 20% that our administration met, the NFF is now about 60% self –financing. Our objective is to work very hard to attain 100% self –financing for the Federation within the next two years, in order that football can free some money for critical areas like education, health and infrastructural renewal, upgrading and development.”

Pinnick added that the resolutions of the NFF Congress at the Extra-Ordinary General Assembly of 2nd August in Benin City still stand.

“The door remains open for those aggrieved members of the Football Family who are ready to abide by extant Football rules and regulations, as they can still pick up forms for the elections coming up on 20th September in Katsina.

“We have learnt so much during this crisis. We are more determined to run an inclusive administration where everyone can have a sense of belonging, as we work tenaciously and diligently towards taking Nigerian Football to new heights of excellence.”

While revealing that the NFF Board has met with the Reconciliation Committee set up by the Sports Ministry and outlined the steps to be taken to conclusively resolve ongoing issues in Nigerian Football, Pinnick also added that the Board has presented to the Presidency a roadmap for general reform of the country’s football system. “We have presented to the Presidency immediate, short-term and long-term plans for resolving issues in our football, to ensure that the industry not only delivers on its mandate of promoting the game in Nigeria as a key economic factor, but also avoids governance troubles and wranglings in the future.

“On behalf of the NFF Executive Committee, I apologize to all those individuals, interests and groups that we might have offended, one way or the other through our actions and inactions, over the years. Nigerian Football, and not any individual or group, is the winner.”

i feel your pain
last Christmas my pup had Parvo. but thanks to this forum i saw the symptoms earlier.even when the vet was still treating with strep. i knew it was parvo. when he saw that the symptoms persisted he decided to change medication. i made ORT after every 24 hours. and gave it hourly. the poor thing (that could not stand) refused anything going into her mouth, because of the diarrhea. but i always separated her mouth like Samson and the lion, and poured in the ORT and Drugs. after about 10 days she started getting well. although the medical expenses incurred was nothing compared to the fuel i used to transport her to the vet's place. wish your dog all the best!
