Guy why you dey do like this now, na only you go read that one to be pikin delivery. Guys once we get in, let's cause a development ripple by setting up profitable businesses like tapping into sai baba's agricultural dream.
Let's not be the Range crew in our first years. If 60% of us set up 5M with agricultural businesses in our first year, imagine the ripple effect on the economy and our finances. Congrats to us.

Some companies have rules against staff owning businesses or being on boards, Nicer please is this applicable to NLNG too?

Guy, we shd collabo on biz o! Whether it is agric or sth else. We will need to hv a good discussion on it. Remind me in training school.

Nop. the result of Anderson been evicted has already been leaked that Friday night. so the rave of bring Anderson back started on Friday. even those that are yet to watch was clamoring for his return. and yes the viewers uproar from Friday night brought about his return

Let's agree to disagree then.

Methinks the judges did it on their own prerogative.

How is it that no one has even thought of NLNG waitlisting the successful applicants? Everybody is thinking of the job straight up. Not even medicals.

In any case, i admire the level of optimism in here.

Optimism is all we have going at the moment.

Please can someone give us some news. Even if it's an email that the list will be out before weekend.

You people talking about the selection of songs to me it ok. As a good artist you should be able to blend with any type of song irrespective of the type of song you love to do, other winners did the same so it should be no issue. Akon sings the American way but when the need arises we all heard and saw how he blended into p square's chop my money and few others.

Drops mic

Every artiste has his genre. So I beg to disagree. You don't ask Lagbaja to sing R.Kelly. You see what I did there?
To be sure there is no partiality, the songs shd b randomly picked. Especially now that it appears Uncle Ben has some favourites.

By the way, it is not Social Media that brought back Anderson o! These shows are pre-recorded at least 24 hours before broadcast.
So what you watched on TV on Saturday as his eviction was actually done on Friday night. And they had already called him by Saturday morning back to the academy, even before the public watched his eviction and were screaming on Saturday evening. I like the Anderson guy sha!

Interestingly, I see it as both. It is obviously a threat to NLNG, but I see it as more of an opportunity to us. Because NLNG foresees a possible reduction in its market share due to a couple of formidable players entering the market it will tend to take action. and the obvious action to take here is to try and ramp up production i.e. increase its market share by increasing output (hence more trains) before the competition come on stream obviously there will be a lead time (of investment in the plants, gas supply infrastructure etc, which NLNG already has in place) from the decision of the competition to enter the market to the first LNG shipment. That fact gives NLNG more leverage to negotiate long-term SPAs with buyers but they have to break ground on train 7 to show they mean business. Just my opinion.

I totally agree with you. But then again, I agree with anyone that suggest things that end up with me getting the job.
LOL!

Seriously speaking, Anderson has a great voice but lacks stage-presence...he used to be my favorite until he flopped Tuface song. I wish all of them the very best but wish all the females the prizes grin grin grin grin

It (Tuface) wasn't his genre. Even Pharrell would have flopped Tuface song.

Dear hopefuls,

From my trend review and analysis, i strongly believe we will hear from NLNG next month. If it spills, then we will hear from them in October ceteris paribus.
My take on the federal character ish is that NLNG is not a federal parastatal and as such, they are not mandated to adopt the federal character principle in employment. However, there are several factors they might consider asides AC scores e.g discipline, sex, experience, qualification, personality e.t.c. In as much as they are a global company trying to build a better Nigeria, they will try as much as possible to employ individuals from every part of the country but not necessarily following the federal character principle.
In all this, all i see is success.
#BELIEVE

We are praying against spilling o! This 2-year wait is epic!

I thought I was the only one observing the special interest attached to Jeff by uncle ben, I'm suspecting. There's something fishy even the way he comments after his performance is suspicious even when the guy isn't special, they're all biased joor, most contestants that left are far better than kumi but they keep saving her to gain Ghana's vote, they're just using the contestants to make money if you don't make enough money for them they evict you irrespective of your good voice.

To me the last project fame that was with less biased was Monica's season where everyone weren't on probation before, mtn want to make triple the 5m before they hand over one part to the winner, wicked network Infact I'm gonna port my line to glo angry angry

For your mind now, MTN will go broke once you port to Glo. Hian!

Btw, I think they are phrasing it wrongly. They should have said "henceforth, the public decides who stays and who goes". That sounds better than saying everyone is on probation. U get the drift!

This really shows that those Judges and Faculty are not competent again.

If you love someone and want him/her to stay in the academy then VOTE. mtchewwww

Anderson eviction was a bad mistake. Very bad mistake! Actually ruined d show for too many ppl, incl. me.

PF really had to redeem themselves. What would you have done differently?

I'm not blaming the country. But you know in all honesty, some talents are hardly recognised nor appreciated here. Take timi for example, till now he is hardly recognised in the music industry. It's too sad.

I understand u now.

In all truth, it is the same thing worldwide. If u don't act crazy in the music world, ur chances r slimmer. A case in point is Beyonce vs John Legend. Each a great in their own right, but the Hip Hop artiste is royalty.

The greatest misfortune for anderson is that for one with an exceptional talent, he found himself in Nigeria.

I beg to strongly disagree. This is an isolated case, and even with this, Nigerians actually like the guy.

In life, sh*t happens sometimes. No need to blame the country.

Hey great guys, I have a question for you all: in a competition that you are interesred in winning, if you are asked to vote between a THREAT (Anderson) and a "Work over" (JOY) who would you rather vote for? truth is, the wise one stylishly voted out Anderson to boost their chances, that is how the game is played. It is called survival of the fittest.

I would have preferred Anderson was save though.

Actually, judges or faculty should have saved him. With contestants, it is understandably politics. They (judges n faculty) should never have let that happen. #myhumbleopinion

U see why I compared Anderson and Biqo. When u r that good and it is politics that makes u lose, ur emotions can be overwhelming.

Just as a teaser, compare the public outcry caused by this and Tejiri's eviction.

Chai! Anderson is gone. "Story of my Life". He just had to kill his eviction song - so touching, so emotional. Fitting tribute. You will be missed.

Meanwhile, to those saying she-male, that's not true - and so wrong on different levels. It's not like he is wearing makeup or high heels.

Given his voice, he can perform like Timi Dakolo, and not try to be Flavour.
