I've recently developed some websites for clients with them also I think the thing is this guys are not the cheapest in the industry thier servers are actually powered by Raid 10 SSD which is 10x or more faster than HDD and they Use LiteSpeed web servers, with eAccilirator and other techs so most people just prefer a cheap web hosting that gives them thousands of HDD storage rather than Paying N5,000/year for a starter plan.

And this has been argued in the past because most online start-ups have litle or no knowledge of the tech specs of web hosting requirements they end up being trapped with the big Daddies that gives them everything almost free.

Not to talk of the fast that those already established companies pay much money on facebook ads and Google ads with different promotions to catch customers everyday some people rarely ask any questions they just see promotion and grab it being a one time opportunity.
