Romance / Re: How Do I Become My Wife’s Best Friend? by infortune(m): 12:11pm On May 05, 2010
Ujujoan,

I know it's hard to believe but i've heard it happen before. The woman is sleeping around & is ready for a breakup. If you have been in rships before, you'll know that if you want to break up with someone or vice versa. It's usually because of another (hidden) rship. And you wont say the real reasons you want to break up but infidelity is present & that is the reason for the tears, she might not have believed that she just did it and is in shock at the first. But she continues and after a while believes this other person is her soulmate & wants to be happy with that one hence she initiates the breakup. & believe me, 10 yrs is blood.y too long to realise you are not enjoyin d se.x. she has been cheating. au many times do you think you'll make love with your partner or spouse in a year alone. In a year alone, you will know where you are going and suggest ways of making it better between the two of you but not this one. she is not suggesting making it better. she is suggesting outright breakup. there's someone else involved. i sense a love triangle somewhere.

adconline,
you mean there is something called marriage annulment as against divorce. pls tel abt it for us all to know.

Moreover the excuse of all my 'befores' can do it better than you is indeed the most horrible thing i've heard. It can always be improved upon. There are ways out there & i'm sure the hubby is ready to learn. She ought to have said that really much earlier abegggg,

Finally,  i come to the end of this thread. {whew}.

Cyberfreak & Cantell, pls sheath your swords.

There are only 2 causes about this story & which has been said clearly by the 2 major (& only) opinion polls here:

The wife truly does not love him & is cheating and crying because of what she has truly been doing & can never bring herself to tell the husband and making up these terrible excuses which is very bad and in that case, he should leave or let her go or whichever (divorce) OR the hubby had earlier done something wrong which he has not told us to which this is the wife's way of reacting which in that case they really need to open up communication lines between them so they can move on. They might do this with the help of their pastor if need be.
If the love is still there, they can really make it better on another level and do stuffs they did at first and nurture the love otherwise divorce really is d way out and DNA test the children. Women are getting harder to trust in this our generations especially where they had multiple lovers before settling down. Once an old flame they really liked come along, christain or not, married or not, they will do (as they used to). & pls 4get abt bringing mothers into this. Some of them were also guilty & fell in their time, & some are still doing it. Trust me, I can tell. I am scared of marriage myself. & pls if u love a woman more than she loves you, QUIT. wait & pray for a woman who really loves you.

& harakiri's post is really helpful. D site just wants women to understand themselves better & be armed beforehand so they dont fall. It's not to castigate them. so i urge all to get to it. cause it's real. Marriage is really becoming harder these days because of so many factors. husbands & wives dont get to communicate on another level as they should. & they keep opposite gender office buddies closer than their partners. Many are failing more & more. The end is near anyways.

Sagamite:

And out of all the tribes in Nigeria, it is only the Ibos you see not on the list?

Are you quoting a section of Nigerian law?

Those guys metalwork & olubukokoro r just crazy. when 90% of the names are northeners, the rest 10% southerners r fightin themselves on y the other is not there. let me tel u all somthin which u may already know. Ghadaffi was right when he said we shld divide along the north/south lines. That is d only way there will be all-round development in the 2 regions. That is when the north itself will put its best foot forward and shoot out the really good ones among them to govern them and compete well with the south, that is when there will be peace and let's see if they will be killin themselves after that separation.

Ooduafello:

Na wa for that country called nigeria ooo!!! Those of us living in white man land no fit hear word again cos eyinbo ppl dey laugh us whenever they c our naija pali. One of my teachers in school is used to reading nigerian news everyday and wheneven she comes to the class,Nigeria's issue will alway take up about 15min of her talk. And most of her predictions about Naija are 80% right. she had said in the past that jonathan will be there after 2 months wey yaradua go sick leave.Ask me what her next prediction is,

So, Ooduafello, you have been silent for too long. Pls what was her next prediction?

Dear fellows, i still dont get it. This man Jonathan shld forever lay to rest the possibility of Yardy coming back to power so that he can focus on delivering on the projects of his administration, attending to the needs of the nation, et al esp that of power. If regular power supply is all that he achieves, even in his administration, he would've scored BIIIIGGGGG and that alone will bring him massive electoral votes for the coming election even if his party doesnt want to make provision for his coming back.

@poster;

u've got to be kiddin me. Men are hard to please, come on.
Haven't you watched the film "the Ugly Truth". For goodness sake, men are SIMPLE. & so were their lives till women came around or till he sought one. Searchin for a life-mate is searchin for trouble albeit, it can also be the best thing dat happened to a man.

God knows how he created us anyways, and how He does His things, cheer up gurl,

u may only need the Right Man in your life, PRAY.
