Sahara reporters is a nuetral organisation pushing for change. This does not necesary mean it is an APC propagander press. Do not be suprise if they turn tables when Buhari wins. Remember their support for Jonathan in those days past. Now coming to Chinedu Rylan. He is a pro GEJ person. Dont belive? Check his twitter posts. Sahara reporters are open. Anybody can publish any write up there if it meets thier requirments. Summary of the whole jist is that THIS WRITUP DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON BUHARI'S SUCCESS AT THE POLLS. I have my pvc and I will vote for GMB!!!!!!! Lets test the e-polls again Click like for GMB votes Click share for GEJ votes |

F22_RAPTOR: Bloody lying 'US Official'; these fools are trying to make sure that their stupid prophecy of the Nigeria breakup happen as planned. What does he stand to gain by trying to shield the rats causing havoc with thier wealth in this country. This is either a very smart way of diverting attention from their targets or they are just been malicious. If you hate the Americans that much then stop celebrating their brand F22 RAPTOR. |

Its obvious you are still a learner. All these attributes you are listing is as a result of the need for the lecturers to survive in a country were education is not paramount. Had the government showed enough dedication to pursue excellence in the educational sector from the on start, all these attributes wouldn't have been there in the first place. Don't blame the lecturer for a hydra headed issue created by the govt in the first place Hope you get it now. |

Politics / Re: Lagosians Witness 9 Hours Of Static Traffic Jam by Inova(m): 2:17pm On Sep 21, 2013 |
I was one of the first set to pass the road around 4.30pm. It's not that the road is notoriously bad. This was what happened: The road was already commissioned for dualisation and work was already ongoing at least I can say they have done 35 - 40% of the job. Ok so to level the road to its standard they had to fill the road with earth and then compact it. After filling, some nasty rain now fell and made it all slippery, muddy and totally unmotorable. To compound the problem heavy vehicles like Dump truck and 16 wheelers attempted to pass, got stuck and worsened the road with their weight while trying to get out of it. The diversion route was completely blocked because it was a narrow road not capable of handling dual traffic. In fact yesterday was the worst traffic I've ever experienced in Lagos. My sweet ride really suffered. I actually passed through the mud using my experince with front wheel drive (worming). Sigh!! Wanna go rest my bones |

Religion / Size Comparison Of Our Earth To Other Stars. A Time To Appreciate The Vastness by Inova(m): 7:40pm On Aug 17, 2013 |
The sizes of astronomical objects are so large and the distances are so great that they quickly exceed human comprehension. Each picture below shows increasingly larger objects as one move further from the earth. Inner planets of the solar system. These planets are the most dense in the solar system and, with the exception of Pluto, closest to the sun. I am having difficulty in posting images so please kindly go to the link and have yourself amazed.... http://www.quantrek.org/size_comparison/size_comparison.htm |

Autos / The Worlds Unsold Car Stockpile by Inova(m): 2:18pm On Jul 19, 2013 |
Millions of brand new unsold cars are just sitting there, slowly deteriorating without being maintained. See Images of a massive car park with thousands upon thousands of unsold cars just sitting there with not a buyer in sight. There is proof that the worlds recession is still biting and won’t let go. All around the world there are huge stockpiles of unsold cars and they are being added to every day. They have run out of space to park all of these brand new unsold cars and are having to buy acres and acres of land to store them. The car industry would never sell these cars at massive reductions in their prices to get rid of them. If they were to price these cars for a couple of thousand they would sell them. The car industry cannot stop making new cars because they would have to close their factories and lay off tens of thousands of employees. This would further add to the recession. Also the domino effect would be catastrophic as steel manufactures would not sell their steel. All the tens of thousands of places where car components are made would also be effected, indeed the world could come grinding to a halt. Tens of thousands of cars are still being made every week but hardly any of them are being sold. Nearly every household in developed countries already has a car or even two or three cars parked up on their driveway as it is. When a car is left standing idle, all the oil sinks to the bottom of the sump, and then corrosion begins to set in on all the internal engine parts where the oil has drained away. Cold corrosion is when condensation builds up in the cylinders and rust forms in the bores. The engines would then start to seize and would need to be professionally freed before they could be started. Also the tires start to lose air and the batteries start to go flat, indeed the detrimental list goes on and on. Na wah oh. Thank God these cars are not made in Nija

Autos / The World’s Largest Motor Cycle by Inova(m): 12:16pm On Jul 19, 2013 |
Gregory Dunham from the USA has constructed the worlds largest ride-able motorcycle that is 3.429 m (11 ft 3 in) tall to the top of handlebars, 6.187 m (20 ft 4 in) long and weighs 2.948 tons (6,500 lb). It is powered by a 8.2 litre (502 cu in) V8 engine and has tires that are 1.88 m (74 in) tall. The top speed is 65 mph with an economy of 6 miles per gallon. Dunham built the bike over three years at a cost of $300,000. In February 2005 Guinness World Records awarded him a certificate he received on June 15 for officially having the world's tallest ride-able motorcycle. Dunham steers it from a cage below the handlebars as it would be impossible to straddle the bike in a normal riding position. Technically he drives the bike rather than rides the bike.

Onwe101: dis one wey my tecno dey hot so.....hiaaaa make e no blow scata my hand o.Do you know why ur budget phones (eg Techno) are cheap? I'll tell you.... (There's this thing called Certification. This is done to ensure that the phone meets the safety standards require by the human body in term of radiation absorption etc. Now these phone manufacturer pay huge fees for this which they have to recoup from sales of the mobile phones. Pls ask yourself why Techno cannot penetrate the western market but are flooding their products in a NO STANDARD country of ours. Chinese budget fones are likely to kill than a Samsung. If you ask me I'd say its just a silly person trying to get attention from doing something stupid to cause the explosion. |
Car Talk / Planned Massive Extortion By Traffic Enforcement Agencies In The United States by Inova(m): 1:24pm On Jun 23, 2013 |
This was a message sent to my mailbox. I haven't confirmed it yet. Thought I'd share it though. Quite amazing how much can be realized from traffic offenses alone. Pls note: I do not live in the USA. Never even traveled there before. Just sharing ********************** THE MESSAGE Starting July 28, 2013 New Jersey will launch a 30-days speeding ticket frenzy. The state estimates that 9 millions dollars will be generated in speeding tickets. One million will be used to pay State troopers over time. There will be 50 State troopers on duty at all times patrolling, the 9 main intersection and highways as follows: * 1-295 North and South * 1-95 Jersey Turnpike N/S * 1-80 E/W * 1-287 N/S * 1-78 E/W * 1-195 E/W * 1-280E/W * Route 130 N/S ,* Garden State Parkway. N/S 5 MPH above the limit can justify a ticket and every state troopers is supposed to pull. Car over and write every 10 - 20 minutes They have issued 30 brand new unmarked Crown Victoria Cruisers and are bringing in all of their part-timers on full time. If you work in Nj, NY, DE or CT, you will probably be on one of three highways, so , please be on guard and drive safely. Starting August 15, the price of a violation to show your driver's license, registration or insurance card at the time you are stopped will increased from $44 to $173 (keep these documents in your car) and the fine not having all three documents is $519. The fine for hand held phone use while driving will be going up to $180. Please forward this to people in NJ or anyone using the NJ highways of this latest police initiative. overdrive: Testing d water to know when to attack mostly d females. Overdrive is right. From my observation those mosquitoes make that irritating sound to observe if the host is deep asleep so as to avoid been swatted. If the host was fast asleep the sound would not irritate and hence there will be no reaction. To the mosquitoes its the right time to safely suck the blood of the host |

Religion / Re: What Are Your Views On Supernatural Occurrences? by Inova(m): 10:54am On May 01, 2013 |
musKeeto: Chairman here's the recipe for walking on water: 1) Lots of Sturdy plexi Glass 2) an optical Physicist/engineer 4) A controlled swimming pool 5) fake crowd and crew as witnesses The plexi glass is assembled/constructed by the optical Physicist/engineer to look like a table underneath the swimming pool taking into consideration the way the light passes thru. What this means is that when the table like plexi glass is constructed under water, you will not see it becos it would be very transparent. Then he walks on to make it original they interview fake viewers to give it more credence That all. |

I am forced to contribute to this post. I totally agree to the project as being a misplaced priority. Ever thought of Awarding contract to Build the decking of a House without a foundation? . That's wat Nigerian leaders are doing. The Education system is in Shambles and these are the same brains you want to employ into the ICT project. All you Nairaland members that have sold your conscience for Monetary gains should think again. Religion / Re: Reasons A Former Pastor Became An Atheist by Inova(m): 6:34am On Apr 08, 2013 |
kambo: wow! Anoda mmisguided pawn. Tonnes of unsound arguments some consolation to them atheists. One thing this convert shud ponder is whether there is a Hell- cuz science cant help him here. If there is a hell then d devil will laff in his face when he discovers too late that d bible he mock'd at was actually true . Is d rapture going to occur!? If d bible is a farce then dats balooney but if d rapture occurs what will he say.. One world government, d mark without which no one can buy or sell all these are events foretold many centuries ago, if d bible is false and God dnt exist he can laff it off but if not he'd better pray tht science will bail him out cuz he'll hav a lot of regreting and teeth gnashg to do... Let him b waitg 4 everythg to make "sense" b4 he aknowledges God .. Abraham responded to God's call by simply believing God and taking Him at his word even when all was hopeless .. But this man is lookg 4 irrefutable proof . God gave abraham his word nothing more and God is giving this type His word only God wnt change principles for no confused doubter.. But d consequences of throwg his soul away so trivially is immeasurable.See all you quoted there are just stories my brother. They are only good for extracting morals. You go and fast for forty days and nights according to the bible and tell me if you will live to tell us. The day you start asking questions and ur not getting reasonable answers you will then understand his point. The man realLy made points there. You hv just chosen not to admit. 21 Likes |

Ihedinobi: Ihedinobi. I'm sorry to say dis but you really don't sound like a critical thinker. There's absolutely no how a critical thinker does not end up a free thinker. How to you maintain critical thoughts if your thought pattern is Limited by religion As a critical thinker, it requires your to question things that don't have substantive evidence. You are requesting for evidence of Jesus's non-existece while you don't even bother about the proof of his existence. Till today the only proof I get is FAITH and nothing more. Its not good enuf A magician can trick you to belive d existence of jesus with his tricks but is it sufficient? I said this becos dis is wat applies to us hia in Africa. My mind is free becos of critical thinking dat open my eyes to so many bible contradiction. Let's all be carefull and not put our brain to waste 3 Likes |
