The deductions are statutory so there should no media or press war over this. Thank God they are not told to pay unpaid backlogs

Most of these companies do not have governance structure in place. There is no sustainability structure in place such that if the founders die then the companies die. Truly, the VP should preach the Listing option to these companies and talk to the Nigerian Stock Exchange to provide assistance. See the case of Dangote today!

He is not one to send 419 Text messages about. Kudos brother. When do we start buying shares in your company Sir. Your Legacy must not be allowed to die. Start thinking listing on the Stock Exchange now!!!

Does it matter if APC looses in EDO? It is the choice of the people if they decide to go back to slavery and servitude. If all the Roads becomes bad again and all the landed property are allotted to one family. It is the peoples choice. So the election should go on!

Car Talk / Re: Please Who Here Have Bought A Car From Jiji? by Integrity123: 8:07am On Aug 28, 2016
I bought a car through the site in May 2016 and it worked. Also, I know a colleague who bought a car through the site and who recommended it to me. I do recommend the site to anyone. No fund changes hand until you visit the garage and inspect the car. I bought my car from a car dealer and the car I saw on jiji.com. You can even call the telephone and negotiate the price. All the car features are on jiji then you can visit to verify with your technicians - Mechanic, Panel beater, rewire etc. I benefited from jiji.com and I am not afraid to recommend the site. My guy, you have to take a decision on time because of PRICE. The car you got for N4m by 12noon can become N6m by 5pm. It happened in my case!

what does the name of a Dog has to do with the economy and food on the table. Is PMB more powerful than Obama. Why did the USA Embassy not accuse Nigeria of disrespecting their President. Please we have more problems bothering us than Dog name. I expected PMB to make a categorical statement that the guy should be allowed to go and no prosecution or gaggling of his family. free us please.
Properties / Re: Occupants Of Rented Apartments !!! Why This Attitude? As In Why??.? by Integrity123: 9:46am On Aug 23, 2016
This is a very touching subject. Some Tenants are just terrible. I have seen a Tenant before who boasted he can never spend his funds to repair a Landlord's property. That is a truth. I find this statement very irresponsible though. We will pump water in the compound ad it will be wasting from his flat yet he will not talk. All because he would spend less than N500 to buy new tap and fix! God was watching. God gave him the wherewithal and he build his own house at Mowe. He could not live in there. It was a misplaced venture. He built in a valley such that all the used and rain water in community converge in his compound. Also, his septic tank gets filled every week due to excess water inflow. He had to go and rent another apartment with his family. The advise is whatever you can do to help others do it and watch God reward you

Business / Re: CBN Orders Banks To Publish All Forex Transactions On FMDQ by Integrity123: 8:48am On Jul 26, 2016
The favouritism is getting worrisome. CBN has clearly shown disdain for other institutions in the financial marketplace. It is an associated company of the CBN. So CBN is the regulator as well as the operator. Circular flow of income within a limited cycle??
Education / Re: Lecturer Asks Students To Submit Notes!!! *pics* by Integrity123: 8:36am On Jul 24, 2016
It is very possible. Let us take it this way. A student scored 35 after the papers are graded and the CAT is added. A lecturer interested in upgraded the student to 40 can request to see the notes of such student to even see if the student was regular and attentive in class. Is this not a possibility?
So what stops the lecturer from scoring students notes for just one week and returning same? The truth is let student be student and lecture be lecturer. Students should not think for the lecturers. The lecturer has wide powers as enshrined in the laws of the university. The one i hate is sexual abuse and seeking pecuniary benefits from students. That is absurd.

Education / Re: Lecturer Asks Students To Submit Notes!!! *pics* by Integrity123: 8:14am On Jul 24, 2016
There is nothing wrong with a Lecturer requesting students to submit notes. The problem with the education system is that too many people claim to know the rules better than the practitioners. A lecturer has liberty to determine his continuous assessment score in any lawful way as he deem fits. In our days in school, the slogan was 60% for students 40% for me (the lecturer). He is free to determine the ways he desires his portion to be determined. Asking for students notes is very lawful and acceptable. In fact, it might be the saving grace that some students require to pass the course. For your information, taking attendance at lectures, impromtu or unannounced tests, assignments etc are also lawful means the lecturer can apply to determine his 40%. These are in the laws of the universities. My candid advise is let us follow through what we went to do in the university. There is a lot of misinformation in the system about the university and other tertiary institutions.

Politics / Re: Amide Clay Industries Berths In Ogun by Integrity123: 4:28pm On Jul 17, 2016
This is good. However, let the OGSG allow professionals run the business. The government should consider listing on the Exchange so that the company can survive beyond SIA.

I wonder why the state has not listed any bond in the administration of SIA. We have lots of abandoned road schools, hospitals projects that the govt can fund through the issuing of bonds and still have value for money! See the road that connects Ojodu berger to Otta (four brigdes). Millions passes through that road everyday to do business in Lagos. People have died on that road because of traffic gridlock. The road has damaged so many vehicles and human lives. The OGSG should raise bond and finished that road. It has more advantages. The government can even charge tolls at different points.
Politics / Re: Rivers APC Opposes N9bn Loan For Wike by Integrity123: 8:51am On Jul 14, 2016
WikeD has borrowed a total of N126 billion in 14 months. The former governor wanted to borrow just N100billion. It was rejected. So who is better. I hope CBN is watching. None of these exposure is listed!

He is owing 3 months salaries of civil Servants, 5months of teachers salaries and 10 months of pension - So what he did initially was just a fluke. I was fortunate to be in Port Harcourt early this year. The Pilot of the Airport Taxi I boarded, who incidentally was a Pensioner was very sympathetic to the cause of Wike because he cleared all the arrears owed by the last administration. So it was just a flash in pan to win votes? Diaris God oooooooooooo

What is good for the goose is good for the gander, that is the popular saying. However, let Wike apply the loan judiciously. Let it impact on the people. He should not apply it to buy guns nor fund militants. I dont even know why Rivers state cannot list its bonds on the stock market. Stories I am reading in the media indicate that Rivers State through Wike is seriously exposed to bank facilities.
Politics / Re: Buhari Appoints Hadiza Usman As NPA MD by Integrity123: 12:53pm On Jul 13, 2016
Do I pity this woman? Not at all. She is going to the bastion of corruption in Naija. I hope she is not being primed for failure?? Time will tell. NPA, an institution that will collect $50,000 from port users and remit N50,000 to government! I fact government should considering privatising the NPA through the Stock Market, say 70% in the first instance. NPA is a viable project but successive administrations has bastardized the place. Has the short changing stopped? Only time will tell.

Holy Moses!!! N81billion??. How much is the turnover of this company?. I hope there is interest moratorium on this facility. The going concern or survival of this company had been compromised with this massive debt. N81 BILLION. How could this get bad. Yet the company is paying a dividend of N1.10 per share. I hope this is not part of the borrowing. Why would this company pay dividend with this heap of debt?

Politics / Re: Aregbesola Commissions Cocoa Processing Company In Ede by Integrity123: 6:02pm On Jul 12, 2016
This is a good initiative at least the project or company will employ people and add value to the raw materials (cocoa) produced in the state and environ. However, I hope the Osun State government and other states in Naija where the government have these sorts of viable private sector projects can consider listing them on the Stock Exchange so that government will concentrate on governance proper, protect the legacy of the incumbent administration and allow have a sense of belonging. The listing of the company on the exchange does not obviate the government from having majority shares. Yes the government can still hold its 51% and have majority of board members. But the 49% that will be sold to the public will enable the company be a going concern even after the life of the administration. More funds can be generated by the company from investors instead of relying on expensive bank facilities

Trust Aliko. He will do well concentrate on his businesses than look for political leadership. He is a President in his own right with territories outside his country. At least he did not bury hiss funds on the farms. He employs thousands of people in his businesses who pay their PAYE to government. Kudos right thinker!

He should concentrate on using the little funds he has to develop himself instead of castigating government. The economy requires more productive entrepreneurs. Ask what you can do for your country and NOT what the country can do for you
