This is just obscene and sickening. In my opinion, any true man of God would spread the wealth. Not blow it and watch his people starve. I have no issue with anyone getting ahead but not at the expense of others. Especially the desperate and vulnerable members of society. Being a pastor is a hustle in Nigeria, taking advantage of people by using the name of God to guilt people out of whatever meagre money they have. Or promise miracles that are near impossible and only ever have a rare chance of occurring naturally. When they don't happen it's the followers fault for not praying hard enough or not being a true believer. Shame on people like this. A stain on Nigeria. Rise up against this evil scum. |

People are leaving as there are not enough jobs and there's too much competition for the low paying jobs that do come up. The level of education is high, so why would you want to have a double masters and work as a bell boy. I don't blame anyone wanting to leave for a better life. In fact I encourage it. Get out while you can, make your fortune and pass it forward to the next man. each one teach one. sharing is caring 2 Likes |

Travel / Re: HI GUYS! What Do You All Think About Indians?? by interK: 2:22pm On Feb 13, 2016 |
Hi My experience was positive. I visited Abuja, Yola and Bauchi a few months a go. People treat you well if you do the same. You will be recognised as a foreigner so people will have more patience with you, the flip side is, cabs and shops/markets will try to charge you tourist prices. Prices can vary a lot between vendors. I have an Indian-ish background. Was never identified as Indian though. I was asked if I was arab, white, mixed race. |
Travel / Hi by interK: 1:33pm On Feb 13, 2016 |
Hi I'm new to the forum. I live in the UK but will likely travel to Nigeria every few months for work purposes. Mainly Abuja and the North East territories. My first trip was in Nov/Dec 2015 and I'll be back out at the end of the month. Would like to meet people based in Abuja. So please say hello. If anyone can recommend any good places to eat/hang out/socialise it would be appreciated. thanks |
Health / Re: Who Knows About Cutis Verticis Gyrata???? by interK: 1:25pm On Feb 13, 2016 |
Hi, Just saw this. so a bit late to the party. I suffered from Cutis Verticis Gyrata too. Only cure is to have it surgically removed. I had the surgery last month. Quick operation and no pain after. Still early days but the scar is like a pen line. Drop me a message if you want more information. |
