Product Development Officer – Destination & Tour package planner and other products. Salary: 100k Location: Ikeja, Lagos. Responsibilities: 1. Proactively organize and design group, religious, educational, family and solo holiday tour packages per season, monthly, holidays and request. 2. Follow trends in the popularity of tourist destinations and packages, and adjust company plans accordingly. 3. Decide on how many holidays to sell each month/season and the countries/destinations to offer. 4. Source and liaise with tour operators, coach/ transfer operators, airlines, hotels and resorts or their representatives 5. International conference and events sourcing and packaging 6. Agree on service level, contracts and costs 7. Engage in market, new destinations and experience research 8. Produce pricing and product information both in brochures and online based 9. Market packages and other company products to staff, affiliates, freelancers and sub agents *_Qualifications/Competencies_* Prior and Good knowledge of tourist destinations locally and globally. • Must enjoy planning travel, researching destination and experiences, organizing people’s trips, sales and marketing. • Must planning travel packages, marketing and selling them. _*Education/Certifications:*_ BSc in Business Administration, Travel/Hospitality, Social Sciences or any related discipline with a minimum of Second class Lower (2:2). *_Experience_*: 2 - 5 years’ work experience in related field. • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of operating standard office equipment. • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, command of English and management skills. • Good writing skills for drafting Cover letters and emails • Excellent Research & Feedback skills. • Excellent use of initiative and proactive approach in delivering tasks. • Problem-solving attitude. • A customer-oriented attitude. • Ability to work well with a team. • Effective coordination skills. • Passion to Learn and Grow.
