Just got my passport back now and I thank God for making me smile .

Multiple entry visa from September 2016 to February 2021. Visa expires ONE day before my passport expiry. Awesome!

Visa issued by Accra IRCC. So it's confirmed that Accra has been the culprit all along. Looool.

I really thank God for seeing me through to the end of this long journey.

As at September 6th 2016, Paper application is still being handled by Lagos immigration. While Online is handled by Accra immigration.

If don't need your passport for travels or for any other business then you can go for paper application.

FYI, am currently 135days on the online application along with others over 4 months.

Not to worry. It seems to be a general issue. I remember when online applications was quite fast.

I do suspect bureaucratic or administrative bottleneck resulting in this situation. I've used the case enquiry form twice. You can check my posts for their replies. I also have some correspondence with Lagos immigration which I did not share.

The only office that has not replied my mails so far is Accra immigration. This makes them look like the bad guys but you can't really tell because IRCC , formerly known as CIC, says they have the ability to move applications around their global network to ensure they are processed as efficiently as possible.

So I think it's best to just sit tight and have faith for the best. Cheers.
