Ok, I feel for posterity reasons I should update this thread with work progress.
I must say God has been good. I got a job with a startup for 70k.
Started my M.Sc degree and now make a D2 salary or more.
I must admit though, the job security Andela offers is tempting.
I feel I owe this to other people who feel they deserve more for their efforts but cannot market their skills.

How does one actually schedule screening?.
According to http://spgs.unilag.edu.ng/registration-procedures/ it just says

5. Login to the student portal to schedule a date for screening. You may be required to upload the following documents in order to schedule an appointment.

Degree Certificate (if you didn’t send a transcript to the PG school):

– Evidence of change of name (marriage certificate/news paper advert)

– NYSC certificate.
But there's no 'call to action' to actually schedule screening. Anyone actually scheduled yet?

Hello house, I'm sure we have heard of Andela. well I'm in a dilemma. I'm basically a junior developer with a month of actual work experience. My question is, is it wise for me to reject Andela? I'm concerned about the two year bond. I feel if I get six months of experience in my current job, I could match Andela's D1 salary. The main attraction for me for working with Andela is the international exposure. Please help.

They are looking at your progress in implementing the feedback they gave you, your communication skill (with both your lfa and your fellow boot campers on slack), quality of your blog post and checking to see if you are at least meeting or exceeding expectations as listed on that challenge documentation

No you should not have anything on your master branch. Set develop as ur base branch on github and raise all pr against develop

so basically you pull all features against develop. as against just merging locally

your LFA should instruct you on that, you should not be working with the master branch at all

I was expecting that. but the app was broken into four challenges. we have to do two challenges before showing up physically at the tower. I've been working exclusively on develop. after a challenge a PR is expected. my cloud develop branch is synced with my lo Al. it's just weird seeing two PRs
