Nonsense network. I started using GLO network on Saturday 28/4/2018 and to be sincere, its been a very great experience using it to browse. GLO is the best!! Let's support our own indigenous network doing us proud, and stop patronizing these fraudulent and slave driver MTN and other South African firms.GLO just bailed me out of this useless MTN network I have patronized since inception.
Glo is a nightmare to use. MTN data still the best, just that it's expensive.

Good morning Nairalanders.. I have read diverse view on different posts and write ups about this topic. many say they are living proofs to back up their claims and positions. I have decided to hear from the doctors in the house, please what's your position on this topic, " Can self servicing cause low sperm count, impotency or infertility in men?
Can potentially cause low count, but increased motility, ie activity. Does not cause impotence nor infertility

Op thanks alot, this is a very very innovative, it's articles like this that can make a huge difference.

I just hope there will be a way around where Nigerians can be able to sell on Amazon, the amount of revenue generated there daily by top sellers is sickening.
Thank you! I hope so too. Also hope the limitations Nigerians have in taking such kinds of opportunities are eliminated. That's why the Gems mechanical turk platform is the future here

Business / Working From Home: Why The Gems Protocol Is The Future Of Mechanical Turk by isrena: 8:42am On Jan 07, 2018
For those who are familiar with the concept of working from home and earning few cash without leaving the comfort of home, Mechanical Turk will sound familiar to them as it provides many people a means of earning honest cash buy solving simple tasks online, called microtasks. these are tasks that typically require human intelligence, tasks that computers currently are unable to perform. Micro tasks are used in a wide range of firms, such as Google, Facebook and Twitter, as well as governments, in order to enhance their solutions, and some other companies have created a platform where they offer workers a chance to complete a task for a reward, such as Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk), an online marketplace created in 2005, to help companies use this tool for processing digital contents like photos/videos, data extraction and verification, information collection. Whether is by filling simple surveys, extracting information from documents or arranging graphics, workers on mechanical turk early from a few cents to a dollar per task. The average earning per hour ranges between 1.25USD to 5USD. As such, for somehow who is unemployed, but rather works on Mechanical Turk for 8 hours would have earned on average 10 to 40USD per day, or 70 -280USD per week, or 280USD to 1120USD per month. That is a about 103,600 NAIRA, to 414,000 NAIRA per month! That's many times the minimum wage and way more than the average salary earner in Nigeria.

But why is MTurk not so popular popular that you find most Nigerians tapping into this opportunity, if it can potentially bring such returns? The answer is simple, the current platforms providing marketplaces for Mechanical Turk workers are wrought with many limitations most of which are due to centralization of such platforms. For example, Amazon Mechanical Turk, perhaps the most popular platform for Mechanical Turk, has a low acceptance rate for new users especially non-American users. That is, chances are that as a Nigerian in Nigeria, your application to work on amazon mechanical turk will be turned down. Most times, the reason for application denial is unknown as such reasons are proprietary to Amazon.

Aside from the poor acceptance rate, the few Nigerian workers on Amazon Mturk have challenges receiving their payments, as they are compelled, to receive their payments as gift cards which may not be useful to them and which they may have hard times converting to cash. You may have seen many people on nairaland here trying to sell gift cards. Such difficulty often discourages many Nigerians from working on Mturk.

Further, there is also the problem of the UI of Amazon Mturk which usually brings confusion especially to new users leading to spending much time before completing a task which in turn leads to lower earnings. There is also the problem of redundancy, as requesters (companies requiring microtasks to be done) typically verifies work done by allowing different workers do the same task, thereby encouraging redundancy. With such existing platforms wrought with many limitations and redundancy and issues associated with centralisation, many people from nigeria are discouraged and excluded from earning honest cash, even when unemployed.

The solution is GEMS! Gems is a decentralized, open-sourced, human task crowdsourcing protocol built on top of the Ethereum blockchain. Using the Gems Protocol, anyone can tap into the power of scalable micro task workers without needing to worry about task verification, trust, or payments. Backed by A great team that includes the founder of gifs.com, and advisors including co-founders of Twitter, District ox and Aragon. By using the Gems Protocol, the Gems Platform removes socioeconomic barriers that exist in centralized alternatives (e.g. large fees, market inefficiencies, need for bank accountants, etc.)

In the gems platform, micro task workers do not need a bank account in order to receive their payments, ensuring that the about 38% of unbanked people, are not left out. Being a decentralised blockchain platform, workers on the gems platform are paid in the Gems token. Imagine earning your first crypto, not by risky act trading, but by honestly performing microtasks online from the comfort of home. Workers also do not need to be limited by their locations

Regarding the issue redundancy, which indirectly makes other centralised Mechanical Turk platforms expensive for micro tasks requesters while mounting a downward pressure on the payments microtask workers eventually earn, Gems uses a system of creating staking and trust scores, which ensures task completion accuracy without the need of multiple assignments, thus reducing the cost and preventing the idea of charging excessive fees, ensuring that both task requesters and task workers are happy. Gems is not simply a platform for micro tasks, but rather the tool to build any platform that involves verifiable work.

So, there you have it- Gems platform for Mechanical Turk might be the job you have been waiting for this year. With just a computer and internet connection and a brain, you can start earning real money online regardless of your location, or banking status. Unlike the current mechanical turk platforms available, such as the Amazon Mturk, Gems protocol promises decentralisation of the mechanical turk industry, a better user interface, more effective payment system, and greater efficiency by eliminating redundancy. As Nigerians, I believe we stand so much to gain from Gems as the currently available Mechanical Turk platforms are rather unfavorable to us, with a high rejection rates of Nigerians.

Let me know in the comments....until then, see you earning real cash on the Gems platform soon!

You want to work online in real time? You work and earn any amount you desire.

No TRAINING OR SKILLS needed

As Mechanical Turk Worker you, (Mturk)

1.Can work from home
2.Choose your own work hours
3.Get paid for doing good work

4. Payment are sent to your bank (American residents),You get paid through Amazon Gift Card (AGC) which is equivalent in dollars (International Turkers)

This is one of the top ways I earn money online,it is not like; CPA, Affiliate Marketing etc. Its basically like a real job that you get to work for any amount you would want earn though there is a probation of ''10 DAYS and
restriction to 100 HITS per day'' for new account but afterwards you can work all day on mturk and most of these HITS takes a couple minutes to sort out.

If you really dedicate your time at least 7-10hrs a day, mturk could be a great source of income,I have read in forums where some turkers make $800- 2100/month but I had never made upto such amount. Probably its because I hadn't given enough time to it.

Unfortunately, there is a BAD NEWS for some years now, mturk have stopped approving new accounts outside the US...However there are still ways to go about it which I won't disclose on here to avoid being banned.

My advice: If you can't find a way to withdraw it, just buy some items and resell here in Nigeria.

Besides, how does Amazon 'mturk' work? I thought it's only for US citizens. Mind sharing the type of job you are doing there?

While watching those pictures, it occurs to me that all the people and animals in those pictures are all dead.

Then it also occurs to me that someday in the distant future somebody will also look at some of our old pictures and videos and realize that the people in that picture/video are all dead.

That's part of the irony of life.
Not all of them. There are kids in the pics from the 60s and 70s.

Where did we lost it
We lost it where we threw away the pyramids in favour of the OIL. We lost it when OIL came. We are still losing it for the same reason. As the love of money is to the root of all evil, so is the discovery of oil to the root our problem.
