The Catholic Church needs to purge itself. They are so spiritual filthy(with due respect).. worst crimes goes on inside there, in their chambers. I was with them once. You cannot be a clean Christian and stay in Catholic. It is a traditional church..and not a true and living church. So for you to worship God well.. THEN YOU MUST PULL OUT..NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT..YOU CAN'T FIGHT THE SYSTEM LESS YOU WILL BE MURDERED..(history and experience have shown us live)

You are a devil messenger. I curse and spit on your comment. Common lair

It's funny how some religious leaders will condemn prosperity and still stand on the alter to lament that the members are poor and the church doesn't have money to execute projects.

How will the church have money when you've told the people that money is evil and that having riches is some sought of sin?

I wonder if these people listen to themselves at all.

He is not saying that money is evil rather doing all manner of ill things just to acquire wealth is evil.

Your Pastor will cajole u into paying numerous tithes nd 1st fruit and he uses d money to buy private jet nd build schools which u can't afford. Is that not evil ?

MadCow1:

Like my Port Harocurt boys will say "Abobi Shun".. grin

Skills acquisition my a.ss. You are talking about a generally selfish and mentally lazy set of people. The Rivers Man is not interested in working. They want to sit on their asses and have money handed to them. I can write an entire thesis on the Mentality of the average Rivers Youth (Bayelsa inclusive).

An example; When I was working with an Oil Sevicing company in Rivers State, a job for the supply of some chemicals came up and we included some community contractors on the big as per local content. The Community Contractors not only failed the bid technically but also commercially. One day n.a. so I dey office and started hearing commotion at the gate. Only to find out one of the Contractors had turned up with goons and barged into my office. The guy threatened all of us saying Nobody will deliver those chemicals to our base whilst he is still alive. The guy even said "e be like say una no know the community where una dey". grin Long story short, we modified the contract and awarded him to supply his substandard chemicals which we never used till this day.

Ever since the Niger Delta Youths realised that kidnapping was a fast means to making money, every Tom, Diick and Harry with access to a firearm are on the streets looking for who to kidnap. Nobody is interested in skills. It's either Government work, Contract, sell lands to multiple people to make money, form a group to harass bus drivers and people building houses for one ridiculous levy or another or just straight our rob and kidnap a person.

The State is a shadow of itself. Anybody worth a cent no dey waka carelessly again. I can't remember the last time I was outside my house past 7pm. Big businesses have all folded up and left like Michellin Nigeria Limited. The ones still there are heavily fortified and move their staff with a military or Army convoy.

Wike and Felix Obuah used these boys for the last elections and can't settle them nor disarm them. Under Amaechi, sanity returned but ever since Wike took over, everything algae returned to the pre-Amaechi days. Even church night vigils now are filled with mostly poor people.

Rivers State and Bayelsa are under are curse.

Shut up you madcow. It was worst under amaechi era
I lived in ph from 2010 to 2015 and I knew what my eyes saw

Blackbuddy:

Hi, I moved to the GTA in June 2015 and settled in Mississauga. I came with my whole family and my wife and I (bankers) started the job hunt also attending the excellent newcomers training with Acess Employment. After 3 months, my wife got several job offers in her field and accepted an offer from a multinational conglomerate which was bought over by America's largest bank and she's doing very well there, even training other new employees now. I got my own break after 6 months as I was focused on finding a job equal or higher than my last position in Nigeria. I got several job offers as well from top banks and finally decided to accept an offer from a top 5 bank in a senior position. A lot of people here who follow Canadavisa forum know my story and I'm a good example of favour and determination.

Don't let anyone tell you that settling in Ontario, Toronto or any big city for that matter was a mistake. There are Nigerians who came before us doing very well and many more will come behind and do just as well. Remember, the battle is fought, won or lost in the mind first of all and then the physical manifestation follows. Sure there may be those who are satisfied with playing in smaller ponds but there are also others who take the plunge and swim in big waters. Abraham left a small, humble beginning for great adversity to claim a big destiny, not the other way round. Same for when Joshua led the chosen into the midst of giants and they prevailed. It's never about the size of the dog going to fight but the size of the fight in the dog. If you decide to go to a smaller city and start over, it's good and fine as it's your journey in life. If you decide to stake your claim here and get your prize as God is doing it for those of us here, that's also fine. You can send me a private message to share some further support and maybe connect you with other successful Nigerians/Canadians on ground here so you learn and gain from them. It wont cost me anything to lift you up, it only glorifies God.

Please Sir kindly give me your Email address . I need to be clarified on something . Thanks

Vinny101:
Hello Gurus I sincerely need your suggestions and advice! I'm waiting to kick start my visa application for a PhD study in Melbourne;I have been accepted by two supervisors in two good universities there. Though I'm still waiting for the formal admission letter. However, I'm wandering what my chances of staying back after the PhD would be as I seem can not find a clear matching skill on the priority skill list. I hold a B.Sc in Economics. MA International Develooment Management and my PhD study would be in a Faculty of Arts, school of Humanities and Social Science. In summary, I'm tending towards a Development Expert. I just can't really pick out where my skill set would fall in. Please kindly advise.

My Brother did your supervisors agree to fund your tuition fees and living cost as on of their research students ?

Those jobless IPOB youths trying to destabilize the country due to hunger and frustrations should learn from this man. If the government fails to provide a job, there are opportunities around you to explore. Even if biafra is declared, money will not grow on trees for you to pluck. Biafra is just a country name, the people inhabiting it will be the same myriads of zombie youths who would rather let Nnamdi Kanu toil with their emotions than use their brains.

This man is an example to the lazy secessionist. Biafra will not come. Go out and work for your daily bread sad
Your madness is on another level

Travel / Re: Masters Degree In Canada Or NYSC Program? by IstandWitBuhari: 9:00pm On Jun 15, 2017
segtak25:
Good Afternoon ,

I need your Career advice on something have been thinking and researching on for some weeks now.
i graduated from the University of Nigeria , Nsukka april this year.
When I told my uncle Who had promised to sponsor me abroad for my Master degree earlier this year.
He was very happy and said i should start the process for the admission in canada so that i can resume with them September 2018.
According to him he said i should process the admission and Visa apllication when partaking in the compulsory Nysc.

The main Issue bothering me now is , I will be Mobilised for Nysc Program by november this year which will be completed October Nextyear(2018)
Msc program in any institution in Canada starts September, that is a month before the completion of NYSC.
Meanwhile, Institutions in canada commence course and other registartion for masters degree in August (2018).

There are two option i'm thinking of:

1.I am thinking of Skiping NYsC but afraid i might need it in future.

2.If i decide to put in for Nysc , There is a popular saying that "Opportunity knocks but once"..

We all know Nysc is getting smart everyday

Pls my fellow Nairalander , i need your advice on these ..

If this your story is true please I beg u in d name of God, go for ur Masters in Canada and come back for ur nysc later when u are done. Don't miss dis opportunity. Cheers
