Of all the six states in the southwest, Ogun, unarguably, is the most sophisticated when it comes to politics. It is a state where pedigree matters. Apart from the governorship position, other contestants into any elective positions in the state, are not only always cerebral, their antecedents also come handy when canvassing for the people's votes.

So, when jostling for the governorship position in Ogun started to gather momentum, particularly with the insistence of the incumbent governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, that his successor would emerge from Ogun West senatorial district, not few political watchers expected Amosun to present best of the best from the axis.

But when the time to choose a 'consensus' governorship candidate from Ogun West came, all the names suggested to the governor by the leaders from the zone, were rejected by Amosun, giving one reason or the other to justify their disqualification. According to a source who was part of the process, Tolu Odebiyi, led the pack of a possible governorship candidate, followed by Biyi Otegbeye, while the Speaker of OGHA, Suraj Adekunbi, came third.

But the governor, who had since settled for Akinlade, personally complained that the leaders did not even take his own interest into consideration when choosing the governorship candidate. It was there and then he informed them that Abdul Kabir Adekunle Akinlade, was his own candidate and ordered the leaders to go ahead to announce him to the party.

However, what played out after the unpopular emergence of Akinlade as the then APC governorship candidate, is known to Ogun people.

Who is Akinlade?

Abdul-Kabir Adekunle Akinlade is an Anango man from Agosasa town in Ipokia local government. He served as SA on Taxation to Governor Amosun between 2011 and 2015 when he won election into the House of Representatives, to represent Egbado South/Ipokia federal constituency.

He studied at the Lagos State University (LASU) where he was said to be a member of a secret cult -Eiye Confraternity. While at LASU, Akinlade involved in notorious activities with his cult group. He later traveled abroad, where he was also involved in a financial scam and was arrested. In order to escape being jailed, Akinlade, jumped bail and ran back to Nigeria.
In a futile attempt to erase his past, the Allied People's Movement (APM) governorship candidate, tried to alter his look and even changed his Islamic name from 'Tajudeen' to 'Abdul-Kabir'.

At the Ogun State Internal Revenue Service, Akinlade was alleged of fraud and appeared before a panel of inquiry. It was equally gathered that the governor himself called him a "big thief" and subsequently ordered his arrest.

Why did Akinlade suddenly become Amosun's anointed son?

Like it was earlier stated, Akinlade was not in the consideration of the governor, but the security background check he personally ordered, revealed dark secrets of Akinlade. And to a governor who was looking for a political weakling and a person with dirty past as candidate, he saw Akinlade as his perfect choice.

Apart from that, he (governor) wanted a person who would allow him to have access to the treasury, even when he is out of office. No wonder, the governor expressed his readiness to expend his resources to ensure Akinlade becomes governor.

His desperation to cover his financial mismanagement as governor, at all cost, made him to damn the consequences of APC hammer and declared that he would work for APM and not for APC.

The Voodoo angle

Apparently not trusting Akinlade completely, the governor took a step further by swearing to an oath and entering into a covenant with his preferred candidate.

According to an insider who is in the know, Governor Amosun and his anointed candidate used a foetus, which was prepared as concussion, which was eaten by the duo to seal their covenant.

Planned deduction of N2b from Ogun IGR

Apart from expecting Akinlade to cover his financial mess, Amosun and his APM flag bearer, another source disclosed, have perfected plans on how N2b from the Ogun State IGR, will be siphoned monthly by Akinlade for his godfather. Also, major contracts will be automatically reserved for Governor Amosun.

Similarly, Akinlade, if he emerges governor, will help Amosun perfect and approve documents for his property scattering all over the state, especially The White House inside the GRA Ibara, which according to findings, is yet to get approval. Akinlade's brief also includes ensuring that the mess created by the sale of the governor's 13-storey office complex located at Ibara Roundabout, to the Ogun State Property Investment Corporation (OPIC), is cleared.

Conclusion:

Having explored the reasons why Governor Amosun is hell bent on Akinlade for governor, voters in Ogun State should reject Triple A and APM for the following reasons:

1. Akinlade will be the unofficial third term of Amosun in office,

2. As a godfather of Eiye Confraternity, cultism across the campuses will breathe a new lease of life and therefore constitute a security threat to the state,

3. The state treasury will be in jeopardy as Amosun will still have the key to it via his 'son'

4. The debt burden of Ogun will continue to rise as juicy and billion naira contracts will be awarded to companies which have link to Governor Amosun

5. Akinlade's past as a scammer will have a serious effect on the financial and economic development of the state,

6. Amosun's influence on Akinlade, will hamper delivery of good governance, while civil servants and organized labour will continue to be persecuted a la Amosun's way,

7. Akinlade's administration will be an appendage of Amosun's Mission to Rebuild, which has brought untoward hardship on the people and plunged the state into humongous financial local and international debt.

The governorship candidate of the Alliance National Party (ANP) in Lagos State, Barrister Ladipo Johnson, has been honoured with a chieftaincy title by the Igbo leadership in Alimosho area of the state.

He is now recognised as the EZI ENYI NDI IGBO, meaning a good friend of the Igbos. The new title was conferred on him by HRM Eze Lawrence Eze, the Eze Ndigbo of Alimosho at the weekend. At an elaborate event held at the Eze's Palace, Johnson was hailed as a true friend of Ndigbo in Lagos State, who had always sided with them on major issues affecting Igbo in the state.


The monarch went down memory lane to recall Johnson's noble deeds towards Igbos, stating specifically that the governorship candidate had usually fought for the economic and welfare interests of Igbos in the state and accordingly the new title was well deserved. "The title is well thought out and well informed by the antecedents of Barrister Ladipo Johnson, who is truly a friend of our people.


So I find it apt to bestow the title of Ezi Enyi Ndi Igbo on him. He deserves his new title and we wish him well as we believe he would continue to be of service to our people and the good people of Lagos State”, he stated. In his comments, Johnson thanked the monarch for considering him worthy of the title and pledged to continue to be of service to the Igbos in Lagos State, noting that he had always believed in the relevance and huge contributions of Igbos to the development of the state.

According to him, Igbos in Lagos State have come a long way and now will have to speak with one voice in order for them to be "properly heard", and also review their positions on major issues that affect their economic well-being and as such decide their future relevance in the scheme of things not only in Lagos State but also in national geopolitics.

Reveals Groundbreaking Blueprint To Get Ogun State Working Again

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) campaign train moved to Okun Owa, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state, on Friday, December 7, 2018 with its deputy gubernatorial running mate , Madam Bisi Okeowo-Bolade, urging Ogun not to sell their future by succumbing to alleged moves by power-hungry junkies to buy their permanent voter cards (PVCs) for as little as N10.

Chastising the APC for failing to fulfil its promises to the people since 2015 in the Madam Bisi Okeowo advised the people not to allow APC humiliate them by buying their PVCs.

Madam Bisi spoke to an excited huge crowd, saying it was time to transfer Ogun State to the ADC so as to experience the best years of the state.

He said, “Today, we have listened to the failures of the APC government since 2015 till today. There is nothing they have not promised us; they promised us security, jobs and better economy, they failed.

“In terms of corruption, this state is worse off today than we were in 2014. In terms of economy, we are not performing as a gateway state that we used to be proud of. In terms of insecurity, we are the most insecure than at any other time in history.
“This is what the other parties are is doing. They are buying PVCs. They will come to you and give you N10, N20, N50 to buy your PVC. They are buying your future.”

Warning the people not to sell their PVCs, She noted that APC would use it against them.

Opposition Political Thugs, Bandits attack the campaign convoy of ADC gubernatorial candidate, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka at Ibese, Yewa North local government. Two supporters shot and presently battling for survival at the hospital!

The Campaign convoy which was coming from Abeokuta was attacked by gunmen, who shot sporadically at the peaceful party members who were with the convoy.

One Mrs Irawo and a gentleman, whose name has not been confirmed are currently in a critical condition, while about 5 others who suffered bullet wound are also undergoing treatment.

Ahead of the impending general elections in 2019, the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI) has been urged to stay consecrated to God when he becomes governor, even as he was told to act as a unifying factor for both Christianity and Islam in the state.

This was the crux of a meeting between the governorship candidate and religious leaders during the campaign tour of Yewa North Local government area.

Representative of the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN), Apostle Lola Dada while extolling the virtues of the governorship candidate admonished him to be religiously tolerant and act ensure all religious groups have a level playing field in his administration.

"There's unity between Muslims and Christians in Yewa Awori land and by extension Ogun State .Your government would not dissolve us. We can only appeal that you continue to work for the unity and progress of our religions. We would also be happy if things are shared equally among us all, since we are all one. Don't be too busy to pray when you become governor. We want spirituality to be your watchword. God of Israel will be behind you."

Apostle Dada further appealed to the ADC flagbearer to ensure that his government improves the fortunes of the Yewa people, noting that there is palpable penury in Yewaland, which must not continue when the GNI administration comes on board.

Speaking in similar vein, the representative of the Muslim Community in Yewa North, Alh. Olaleye Arolawa enjoined all sons and daughters of Yewa to give GNI massive support in the election.

He observed that the ADC governorship candidate is the best man to alleviate the suffering of the Yewa people, appealing however that he stays true to his campaign promises. "

"This is the time God wants to put an end to our suffering. We must not lose this opportunity. There are no jobs for our children. This is not about party loyalty. If we continue to talk about party, we would not move forward. We can't move forward except we produce a Governor. I urge GNI not to disappoint us." he said.

Responding, Prince Isiaka vowed to cater for the welfare of religious leaders in the State, noting that his government would be religiously tolerant.

According to him, " I am not someone who opposes religious tolerance. Freedom of worship is everyone's right.
I am a Muslim, but my wife is a Christian, and a Deaconess at that. Those who are close to me know how liberal I am when it comes to the issue of religion. "

"I can assure you that the welfare of our religious leaders would be one of our administration's priorities. Our religious leaders are very important. Quality religion is important."he added.

Gubernatorial aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, has reacted to the misconception of context over his plan on education in Ogun State, as released by a major Nigerian daily newspaper, quoting him to have said he would return missionary schools in Ogun State back to the owners. GNI, as fondly called has released a statement on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, clarifying his position and assuring Ogun people of his burning desire to transform the State's education system and restore its sound academic pastime in Nigeria's history.

My attention has been drawn to a news headline, “I will return mission school to owners in 2019 – Isiaka”, published by one of the major national dailies; and which has elicited discussions and divergent opinions from many stakeholders of Ogun State.

While many applauded the purported decision, some also disagreed. All opinion on this matter count and I truly respect them and it makes me quickly feel the weight and burden of expectations of the people from the next administration, hopefully under my watch.

However, let me quickly state here that though not precisely reported, my statement is largely an intention borne out of the burning desire to effect a revamp of our educational system; and it was not as definitive as was reported.

“Excellence in Education” is topmost on our 7 Steps to Greatness manifesto and we intend to launch a comprehensive package on how to turn around the obvious qualitative and quantitative deficit and stop the decay in our educational system in Ogun state; and in the process secure a better future for our children.

Amongst the options being considered is to encourage the private sector, NGOs, religious bodies, alumni association and other varied interests in our educational sector; within the policies and guidelines of government in addition to the determination to expand and enhance educational infrastructure and facilities across the state.

This suffices to say that a comprehensive programme to guide our education plan is meant to be developed from an education summit where all stakeholders will express their interest; and a key component of that event will be conversations around the mission schools which I hope in the end will leave everyone satisfied and Ogun State better for it.

The debate the headline has generated in the last 48 hours had further confirmed our position that all is not well with our education sector in Ogun State. The dilapidating structures and decay in infrastructure that made some of our public schools look like piggeries needs urgent attention.

The morale of teachers are down because of lack of motivation and encouragement from a government that sees no reason to enhance human capital and the resultant effect is the low quality in education as shown in various external examinations in the state.

Indeed our education sector is in dire straits and a State of Emergency will be declared - part of which is the planned summit. More importantly, ogun people should be rest assured that none of our policies will burden the people, rather, it will bring ease and a life of abundance to all.

I remain with the people and like I always say, they shall be the focus of all our administration's decisions. Therefore, I urge Ogun State people, teachers, students and all industry players in the education sector to ignore negative insinuations from mischief makers who hoped to take advantage of the debate to score very cheap political points.

I thank everyone that has contributed to the debate and it shows that we are all preparing for a peoples government that will usher in the Geater Ogun State we all desire.

The Sexy Money crooner edged out his Nigerian/African counterparts to take home the prestigious “DJ of the year” and Hypeman of the year award.

Nigerian DJ, Exlcusive, won the same award in 2017.

The new win adds to DJ Timmy’s inventory of awards.

It appears to be lights out for the teeming Nigerians who are eagerly waiting for a formidable opponent that could offer fresh ideas to the country's problems, that have largely remained unsolved in the last four year, and also give Buhari a vigorous run for the money in the coming Presidential election. Because according to reports, ahead of Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary billed to hold tomorrow, it emerged on Friday that an unholy plot has been perfected by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike to rig the election.

Indications to this effect became too clear on Friday evening with a coordinated muzzling of party faithful and delegates to vote for the Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal purely to massage the ego of the Governor to the detriment of the party and the country.

Tambuwal, it was gathered, will eventually pick the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose as a running mate for the 2019 elections.
By the scheming heavily financed by Wike and “allied forces”, including a number of other PDP governors, Wike will also take over from Fayose in 2023 as Tambuwal’s running mate if they could succeed at the polls.

Analysts and party faithful following the development in Port Harcourt, venue of the PDP convention where a presidential candidate will emerge tomorrow, claimed the new turn of events had actually been revealed by Thisday columnist, Ijeoma Nwogwugwu, in her column on October 1.
They were insistent that the plot had been in the offing for awhile, noting that this was behind Wike’s threat to his colleagues over their disenchantment with the choice of Port Harcourt for the presidential primary.

Already the open manipulation is enjoying frenzy at the various abode of delegates as they are being told to vote for Tambuwal in a manner akin to intimidation, subterfuge, bribing and expected outright rigging at the convention proper tomorrow using “different methods”.
“Expect the unexpected at the venue tomorrow. Wike and his co-travellers are certainly working for their selfish interest and not the party’s ambition to win next year, a top party leader said last night.

It was gathered Friday night that the convention was likely to end in controversy as some presidential aspirants were said to be mobilizing for a showdown over the rigging claim.

“Wike has perfected plans to rig the election in favour of Tambuwal by deploying huge resources to the delegates and party leaders to do his bidding and the choice of Port Harcourt as venue is a strategic advantage in this direction. Delegates are being railroaded to vote Tambuwal but how this will end remains to be seen,” a party chieftain from Edo State who requested for anonymity also stated last night.
Yet the consensus of opinions of PDP members on Friday pointed to a failed scheme in the end as many party faithful in Port Harcourt believe rigging the election can only pave the way for a “smooth ride” for President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection since “he will easily defeat the Tambuwal/Fayose ticket at the presidential election in February”.

On one occasion my son was speaking to my Twin brother Chief Kenny Martins on the phone, she found the door to my son’s room opened, she entered and started slapping, beating my son and shouting on him that he is talking to a woman- Kenny Martins heard all the abuses and beating on the phone. Many times my Twin brother Kenny Martins had settled many violent quarrels for them and he said he is tired of their many fights; Let Kenny Martins put his hand on the Bible and swear in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that all these are lies.

18A.ON MY SON ABRAHAM OLUJONWO OBASANJO: Tope Adebutu, Rosemary Dacosta who is Tope Adebutu’s mum and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, all three of them have all vowed to destroy my son should he try to get out of the marriage to Tope Adetubu or should he seek for divorce.



My son is hiding from Tope Adebutu; he received death threat every time on account of this marriage, I also receive death threat from them and they said that I am also a cocaine addict because I talk to the press. Three months ago they called me that if I don’t stop talking to the press they will go on Social media and tell the whole world the damaging lies that my son is a cocaine addict. Sometime Tope will break down and start crying and beg my son.



My son is not a cocaine addict neither was he ever in any rehabilitation centre.My son was working and living in his father’s palatial hilltop residence before he ran out. How come all members of Obasanjo’s palatial home, office workers, drivers, SSS in the house around his dad don’t know, cooks, stewards, who clean his bedroom which he doesn’t lock, his wardrobe is left open, his bags are left open; my son only started locking the door of his bedroom when they move to a bigger apartment at the Hiltop residence of chief Obasanjo when his wife started giving him advance warning that she will kill him and nothing will happen. How can any sane man stay around a mentally unstable woman in a home where she kicks, slaps and order my son to come and Bleep her after insulting and abusing my son, her mother also phone to abuse and threaten my son.



The truth is when my son ran away from the Hiltop residence of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Tope Adebutu, Rosemary Dacosta and Chief Obasanjo gave my son hell, the three of them wanted to kill my son, they will phone him with death threat, my son’s businesses were cancelled, his job and salary frozen, my son’s jeep was seized by his dad. Why do these evil to your son? Why? Why? Why?, just because he is running from a wife that wants to kill him.





18B.FOUR MILLION NAIRA (4M) THEY SAID I COLLECTED FROM CHIEF KESSINGTON ADEBUTU: Tope Adebutu and Rosemary Dacosta said I collected four million (4m) naira from Chief Adebutu and ran away, he is alive, he can confirm that I never took 4m or 1m from him. On the two occasions I visited Chief Adebutu I went with my family members to seek for means of reconciling Tope and my son. On One occasion I visited Tope in her mother’s home, her mother treated me with contempt.

The wife of the former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Mrs Taiwo Obasanjo has finally released a lengthy narration of what really transpired between her son, Olujonwo Obasanjo and Chief Adebutu Kessington’s daughter, Temitope Adebutu, after the media drama that ensued in the past few weeks.

Olujonwo got married in 2017 to Tope Adebutu, who is a magistrate. Now, the marriage has crashed irretrievably. And Olujonwo says it is over. He has filed for divorce. He has filed some other cases in court asking to opt out of the union.

Reacting to Taiwo Obasanjo’s story, wife of Sir Kessington Adebutu, Rosemary Dacosta , stated that the domestic violence story was cooked up, by Jonwo and his mother.

According to Mrs. Rosemary;

“Tope has never hit anyone and she is very respectful. They should not tarnish my daughter’s name and career. All these lies and press attacks are orchestrated by Olujonwo and his mum and he has been denying that he is not the one who released the court papers and exhibits to the press. Long before the marriage, it was prophesied that we should not do a big wedding for my son before his 34th birthday and the wife coming will come from a wealthy family but she will cause disaffection, disunity, division and great problems in the family etc. and the wedding date must not fall on 11th or 13th and we should not use gray colour during the wedding, as the gray colour symbolises the death of the glory of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo like a gigantic fire turning into ashes, they ignored and humiliated me and picked 11th and 13th and gray colour which the Obasanjo’s family wore to the wedding.I was warned that both date will open doors to great tragedy within the family and the nation and the girl will stir up great storm in the family.



ROSEMARY DACOSTA-MOTHER OF TOPE ADEBUTU:



I went to her house to explain to her the need to shift the date based on the warning from the prophecy received but her response was that we should forget the prophecy and do the wedding quickly so that they can get big money from Chief Kessington Adebutu.



COURT CASE:



when 11th and 13th of May was picked for the wedding, I pressured Chief Kensington Adebutu and Dr. Biola Olorode (The first daughter of Chief Kessington Adebutu) and Chief Kenny Martins to change the wedding date but I was hated, rubbished and called all manner of names, they even said nobody should listen to me that I am mentally deranged. Rosemary Dacosta and Tope Adebutu even boasted that the wedding date remains 11th and 13th May 2017, and that it is final.



I went to court to get them to shift the date to avert future problems, in order to avert the disaster that was prophesied when I have been seriously warned against that date. They came to court with 5 powerful Senior Advocate Lawyers to mock and ridicule me in court that I have turned the wedding to an Ile-ife oracle, Ile-ife is a town where the No. 1 Royal Monarch of the Yoruba’s comes from. I lost the suit.



WEDDING DAYS OF MY SON FOR 11TH AND 13TH OF MAY 2017:



I kept away, I didn’t attend.



AFTER WEDDING:



I started receiving phone calls on three different occasions that my son has been running away from his matrimonial home because of the violent and the wild insultive behaviour of Tope Adebutu.



HIDDEN SECRET HAPPENINGS IN THE MARRIAGE:



Tope Adebutu on most occasions would slap my son, abuse and treat him with arrogance and contempt, when my son realized that Tope Adebutu suffers from emotional insecurity and mental instability with daily threat from her that she would kill my son and nothing will happen, my son started locking the door of his bed room and sometimes running away from the house to save his life. My son is healthier and stronger than her; I have brought him up never to beat his wife or any woman.



TOPE ADEBUTU AND HER MUMMY’S BEHAVIOUR:



After the wedding introduction Rosemary Dacosta and Tope fought one of Obasanjo’s daughter in their house. Tope Adebutu would phone my son in Abeokuta to come and she will seat in the car and give order to my son to get down and buy this, buy that for her as if my son is her servant. After marriage, every little disagreement she will slap my son and even slapping him in his car in the presence of my son’s driver



8.MY SON REFUSAL TO HAVE SEX WITH HER:



After abusing, insulting, shouting and slapping my son, she would then order my son to come and “Bleep her” and my son would go into his room and locked up himself and sometime run away because my son is a normal human being with his senses and dignity intact. How can any normal man make love to a demonic wife whose utterances and behavior are boastful of cruelty, destruction, and humiliation?



9. HONEY MOON:



Before the honey moon, a lot of strange things started happening. Rosemary Dacosta insisted on going on a honeymoon with my son and her daughter, my son ran away again when he heard this. His father, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo forced my son out of hiding and compelled my son to go on honeymoon with his mother-in-law Rosemary Doacosta and Tope Adebutu. My son paid Six Million Naira (6 million) for the ticket of Rosemary Dacosta and Tope plus their hotel accommodation. All these were frightening development to my son, a mother-in-law going with them on honeymoon. And Chief Olusegun Obasanjo supported this unheard of demand, forcing my son to agree.



Please, I humbly ask the “whole world"...why on earth will a father force his son to go on honeymoon with his wife and mother-in-law.



10.RITUAL KILLING AND SACRIFICE:



Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is evil, secretly in demonic agreement with the two women Rosemary Dacosta and Tope, the three of them wants to kill my son and use him as sacrifice, to fulfil his demonic agreement to Tope Adebutu that he would ensure the speedy promotion of Tope Adebutu to become the Chief Judge of Ogun State in the shortest possible manner. When my son saw that his life was in danger, he ran away from the Hilltop residence of his Dad- Chief Olusegun Obasanjo



11.ON CHIEF OLUSEGUN OBASANJO:



Most times my son would report the humiliating behaviour and utterances of Tope Adebutu to his Dad Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, instead of admonishing and calling this girl to correct her, he will tell my son to go and manage her, not for once did Chief Olusegun Obasanjo ever called her to order.



12A.PATERNAL WICKEDNESS:



The oppression, evil domination and disgusting control of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on the life of my son make him keep running away to save himself from being killed by his wife and his biological father. When my son resisted his dad and refused to remain in his marriage, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo became a raving madman, he seized my son’s jeep, he stopped his salary, he threatens that he would disowned my son, cut him off from his “will”, he will ensure that my son amounts to nothing, that he will not help him and he will block all avenues of his income and businesses to impoverish him and make my son suffer untold hardship unless he returns to his marriage to Tope.



12B. CHIEF OLUSEGUN OBASANJO:



He threatened my son and warned him never to speak to anyone or the public or the press or his mother on what is happening to him in his marriage. The pain, the attack, the gang up, the desperate and ungodly bullying of my son by his Dad to make my son submit his dignity, honour and respect to Tope is unheard of, his desperation goes even to the extent of forcefully compelling and demanding that my son must come back and start having sex with his wife or else he would make him suffer more deeply.



13A. CHIEF OLUSEGUN OBASANJO KEPT TOPE ADEBUTU MY SON’S WIFE SECRETLY IN HIS PENTHOUSE:

He kept my son’s wife Tope in his presidential library where she lived for over three months, near his own Penthouse and he goes to see Tope secretly in the dead of the night. Barely one month after Obafemi Awolowo Univeristy, Osun State was embroiled in a 'sex for marks' scandal, a female student of the University of Lagos has reached out to LIB to share her sad and depressing story of molestation in the hands of one of her lecturers who according to her is a proffesor in the English Department.



The student (name withheld) managed to get nude photos of her molester in one of their 'encounters' and according to her;

I have been suffering this for months now. Whenever students go to his office for anything he is always trying to touch you. I took pictures of him on one of the days I entered his office. He has made molestation a part of him. I’m even scared for my life in Unilag. That’s why I’m reaching out to you so he can be stopped.

She went on to add that;



He is a profesor in the English department, Faculty of Arts. I am not his first victim. He does this all the time to students. I have completely given up when it comes to academics he has failed me on tests before. When I talked to him concerning it he told me I should know what to do I am an adult. I feel so dirty for even allowing such an old man touch me. But he doesn’t even care.



As long as you satisfy his wants. I’m tired of everything. He should be stopped before he ruins the lives of other innocent girls in that English department. When he touches me I am always in tears but it doesn’t stop him. Please this is why i am reaching out all I want is for him to be stopped. He is destroying the mental state of girls in Unilag.



I just want him stopped. I reached out because I don’t want him to continue molesting girls. The English department is like a cult. The lecturers have information amongst themselves. They talk about the girls they have slept with and the ones they plan to sleep with. It has been going on for years.
