Dr. Oyibode Congratulates Muslim Faithful, Calls For Religion Tolerance

As Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Kabir today, a foremost Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in Delta North Senatorial District and Chief Executive Officer of Geotag Oil and Gas Limited, Chief Dr. Gabriel Chukwuma Etaoghenevwegba Oyibode has congratulated the muslim faithful.

In a congratulatory message signed by his chief press secretary, Itodje Okiemute Godstime on Saturday in Abuja, Dr. Oyibode wishes the muslim faithful a peaceful and blissful celebration.

In his words, he said "today our Muslim brothers and sisters are celebrating Eid-el-Kabir and it is my earnest prayer that this year celebration will be remarkable and historical'.

He went further to say, there is need for religion tolerance. Stressing that irrespective of religion practice, every Nigerian should be his or her brother's keeper.

We should not allow religion bigotries with the name of doctrines, destroy our patrimonial hereditary.

Our founding fathers were of different religion backgrounds yet because of national interest and peaceful coexistence, they were able to synergize and fight for our independence.

Peaceful coexistence is a veritable tool that fosters sustainable economic growth and development.

Therefore I call on all religion clergymen to focus their messages on peace, love, tolerance and forgiveness.

Encounter For Rest Service, Sunday 24th April, 2022|Apostle Itodje Okiemute Godstime.

Topic: Activating The Supernatural Through Holy Living.
Text: Rom 1:1-4; Heb 12:14.

We were privilege to have God's servant, Apostle Itodje Okiemute Godstime, in the Encounter For Rest Service this morning; who while ministering maintained that, one of the keys for activating the supernatural is holiness.

"What does the supernatural signifies? It signifies a realm that is above the natural, 2Cor 12:4. It is the realm that demonstrate the might and the true nature of God."

Saddened by the way and manner holy living has been neglected in today's world, the Man of God noted that:
1. Holiness means to be separated from the world of sin, Acts 26:18;
2. Holiness is the purity of heart and sanctification through the blood of Jesus, Rev 1:5; adding that it is one thing to be sanctified, and it's another thing to keep your heart pure.
3. Holiness is having the right relationship with God, Acts 24:16.
4. Holiness is the demonstration of the nature and personality of God. That's possessing in our daily living the attributes that makes God holy.

Pastor Godstime stated further that holy living is possible, because there are people in the bible who successfully lived a holy life, among whom are Job, Moses, Jesus, etc.

He admonished that holiness is a vehicle that conveys man to God's presence, Heb 12:14
- Holiness confirm your true identity as a child of God, Rom 1:4
- Holiness is what distinguishes a man and positions him for God usage, 2Cor 6:17-18.

He however submit that the essence of every existence is to give pleasure to our Maker who is the initiator and owner of every life, Rev 4:18.

As the world celebrates this year International Day of Peace, in line with the United Nation's Policy, a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chief Executive Officer of Geotag Oil and Gas Limited, Chief Dr. (Amb.) Gabriel Chukwuma Etaoghenevwegba Oyibode (JP) has sued for equity and justice.

Amb. Oyibode made the statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Itodje Okiemute Godstime on Tuesday in Abuja, commemorating the World Peace Day Celebration.

Amb. Oyibode stressed that peace is a non negotiable factor for peaceful coexistence in Nigeria and the world at large.

In recovery from the loss of human lives and huge economic damages incurred by Covid 19 in 2020, our current world is still engulfed with too many unrests, conflicts, insecurities and upheavals. And these are as a result of dissatisfaction, selfish interest, maladministration and gross marginalization experienced by one group or the other.

As the UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire, I urge the Federal, State and Local Governments to make equity and justice number one priority and apply cooperative method of conflict resolution in addressing the innumerable conflicts across every ethnic nationality or tribes in Nigeria.

I want you to know, that the building of our nation is every citizen's responsibility, therefore, every Nigeria must avoid any act of breaking law and order, and make meaningful contributions to the growth and development of our nation, Amb. Oyibode stated.
