You don’t need TOEFL or IELTS as a Nigerian applicant. Also most schools don’t require GRE since 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic
Check schools website for more info.
A friend got admission master's in public health at ETSU and UNC Charlotte without those.

And he was fully funded right?
I have friends in Purdue, Texas A and M, North Carolina and they all had GRE and TOEFL which they submitted to get full funding into their respective PhD programs.
Better be prepared than sorry!

Hello! I don’t understand this tls and ukvi priority service. I paid 500£ for priority, 77k for appointment and 146$ visa application. I needed it before 2nd November and I went along with it because it said 5days. I did my biometric on 19th October.. on 23rd October I got an email saying ‘it is under consideration’ also that ‘that there is operational restrictions unless I opted for priority service’.. So does the priority service matter or whats going on..

Have you been denied UK visa before?

Good morning gurus in the house I think in the process of filling the form the part they ask your available fund for study, I input wrong figure there, instead of filling the money on my pof only, I filled money on my pof which is $31,000 and my deposit $7,900 and the fund my brother want to support me with for my second year $27,444 and I have submitted. my biometric is next week. Note it's 2 years Couse and the fees for the first year is $23,900. Please how can I correct this, should I cancel the application? If I do will visa fee be refunded? Please family help me out here thank you.

If the money promised is not on your bank account or that of your sponsor don't fill it as money available. If I can recall there's another column to fill money you will be getting from your sponsor.

Hi guys.
Please I need your input here.
So my sis recently got a refusal, and according to her, she mentioned half of the funds on the I-20 when asked about savings as that's what she had a hard copy proof of and the VO said she had to show all before handing over the blue paper and advising to reapply if circumstances change.
The thing is she had the entire funds but in a separate fixed deposit account cos she thought she didn't need to show all that, so now that question is how do we prove to the VO that the lump sum had been available all the while?

And also, is it advisable to reapply after the 3 working days they like they said? (if she can get a date)
Or just defer and try getting it right next spring session?

Look forward to any helpful response to this.
Thanks.

Are you saying the VO told her the reason for her denial "because she had half funding" shocked

I have a few questions as I plan to use my GTB card soon (I used another bank in the past):

1. How do you get the account number for the card account? I only got the dom account number
2. How do you move the funds from the dom account to the card account?
3. Can I pay cash into the Dom account?

Thank you.

Contact the bank or check your mobile app. Probably the card account hasn't been linked. The card account is different from the Dorm. Call GTConnect at the back of your card for assistance.

My Cousin is preparing to travel for his Masters. He said that he needs to get a date but he is required to pay a service charge of about #300k before paying another #300k to get an emergency visa interview Date. I just stumbled on this threat and want to confirm whether this is needed as I don’t want him to be scammed.

Let's start from the beginning.
Who helped in processing his admission?
Has he paid the SEVIS fee or visa fee??

Documents submitted

1. Employment letter
2. 4 months pay slip
3. BRP (mine and spouse)
4. Passports (appplicant's, mine and spouse's)
5. Statements (mine and spouse only)
6. Spouse's HMRC return (He is self-employed)

Use your dad as an international safety officer worker in Qatar with *** company with an annual income of 24m... You don't have to say he lives there. After all, I believe he comes home every 3 months.
Good luck...

Good evening, please anyone has any experience going for a visa interview with F2 dependents? My cousin is planning of attending the interview with her two kids and wondering what questions they might have for her regarding traveling for masters degree with her kids. Your opinions will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
There are a lot of transcripts here at your disposal.
Just search the bar above and select the travel section.
The likely questions about your dependents will be about their education and who will cover the cost.

My interview answers was not wrong I think but I was nervous at first.

V.o - when did you finish high school
Me- 2020

Vo- have you ever traveled before
Me- no

What will you do after you finish college:
I’ll come back to Nigeria and work here.

Vo- sorry I can’t approve your visa at this time.

Guys I later discovered my sevis number was not updated on my visa appointment and I choose self paying for my fees on my ds160.

Go to youtube and watch ARGO visa interview tips... I think you could also benefit from EducationUSA Lagos or Abuja...

The visa fee is about 150k now if I'm correct.

Take your interview as if it's a job interview. Prepare a convincing response to likely questions.

Your last point come back and work here should have been more specific so they know you have done proper research.

PS: Just my candid opinion.

Education / Re: Apply For 2023/2024 PTDF Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme by itoski(m): 6:00pm On Jun 09, 2023
chefetalkane:
PTDF INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

Petroleum Trust Developement Fund (PTDF) now conducts interviews for prospective scholars for the overseas scholarship and has abandoned the test which was usually the procedure for decades. Initially, the test was theory, then it was changed to CBT, and now it has completely been scrapped.

Over the years, we have helped hundreds of candidates get this PTDF Overseas scholarship by compiling the scholarship past questions as well as their answers [https://www.nairaland.com/3650899/download-full-ptdf-scholarship-past]. However, this is no longer necessary as aptitude tests are no longer conducted - do not let anyone deceive by advising you to get the materials [PTDF Past Questions and Answers] from them; it even gets worst when you realize that most people sell incomplete materials that will barely help you to succeed in this scholarship.

Furthermore, as the scholarship no longer consists of an aptitude test after the initial shortlisting, it has become imperative to look for a means to help candidates get this mouth-watering scholarship from PTDF which is estimated to be worth about 20 million naira per student. The scholarship is also a fully-funded one which means that you do not need to worry about any expenses whatsoever. In the past, many people have given testimonies on how our materials helped them to excel in various scholarships.

We have carefully compiled the questions for the PTDF interview and the answers which will make you come out successfully after the interview. Things that people neglect such as dressing, composure etc. are very important during the interview if you truly want to get the scholarship and they are all included in the material. Everything contained in the material is based on past experiences by a large number of candidates and not guess work in any form. In line with this, the factors that matter most in the interview along with their respective marks are also included here. Things that people neglect that matters the most to ensure that you get the scholarship, are also included there. The monthly stipend for the PTDF Overseas Scholarshio and every other thing that will cure your curiosity about the scholarship are also contained in the material.

Did you graduate with a 2:2? - there is good news for you; you can still get this scholarship. We have carefully mapped out strategies that will give you the necessary edge you require. Even as a 2:1 graduate, you still need to understand the do's and don'ts as most people that get the scholarship are those that graduated with first class degrees. You may have graduated with a first class and you think you don't need this but the bad news is that not all first class graduates get the scholarship so you still have some homework to do in order to get this multi-thousand dollars overseas PTDF Scholarship to study in either UK, Germany or France.

Over the years, our materials have enabled thousands of students get various scholarships. Our materials are unparalleled; a lot of people who used it in the past called back to give testimonies. It is not a fact that if you do not use our materials, you will not get the scholarship; but, if you truly want to increase your chances of getting the scholarship by over 80%, then you need to get these materials.

WHAT WILL YOU BE GETTING?

1. PTDF Interview Questions & Answers and Guidelines.
2. Complimentary Updated Current Affairs E-book.
3. PTDF Scholarship Past Questions and Answers (Optional)
4. Answer to any other question(s) that you may have.

To get this material, Contact 08134141081 on Phone or WhatsApp.

In completing DS160, do I need to retrieve my 2018 application or I should start a fresh application? If yes, how can I retrieve my application ID which is needed for my old application retrieval?

Good afternoon everyone,
I want to know if somebody can help collect your passport on your behalf at the embassy . If yes, what are the procedures ?please ..Thank you

Where you given the white slip? If yes refer to it. The instructions are there. Fill out the form and the passport holder and proxy have to sign it.
Whoever is collecting on your behalf needs the signed proxy letter, the appointment letter with barcode sticker, and an original copy of govt issued ID.
