Know your course modules Why did you choose the UK of all countries to study? Why did you choose the course you are admitted for? What is your career plan after your study in the UK? Will you come back to your country after your study? How much is in your account for POF? Amongst others. May God be with you. hemjay69: 1 Like |

I printed my bank statement from 17th May to 21st June and I applied for Visa on the 15th of June. The 28 days rule states that you must complete 28 days before the date of your Visa Application. So if I applied for Visa on the 15th of June, count 28 days backwards starting from the same 15th, the 28 days bank statement can be gotten from the period I printed my bank statement (I.e 17th May to June 15th) Olaniyan77: |

Visa Alert!!! (Already shared but now in details) I applied for admission on the 13th of February 2023 to the University of Salford for project management (M.Sc), got a conditional offer on the 20th of February 2023 for September 2023 intake. Offer condition “Payment of £5,500” to receive unconditional offer. Immediately I initiated ‘form A’ using Access Bank, but after being stuck on ADB reviewer for weeks, I cancelled and initiated again using EcoBank. Unfortunately, EcoBank didn’t debit me too and the school shifted my admission to November. So I thought I had time not until when I got a mail again that I have deffered to January 2024. Immediately, I messaged and also called the school to plead with them to shift me back to November 2023 and quickly paid the tuition deposit using black market. Fortunately for me, they shifted me back to November 2023. My agent then applied for CAS on my behalf on the 12th of May and I started POF on the 16th of May. I got my CAS on the 24th of May and the whole visa application journey began using the 17th of May to June 21st for the 28 days bank statement (Fidelity Bank). Initially, I uploaded a bank statement dated the 20th of May to the 20th of June and submitted my visa application (Self Service). Just a few hours before my biometrics, I saw someone’s refusal letter which was because he didn't complete the 28 days cycle for POF, so I downloaded another bank statement on my bank App from the 17th of May to the 21st of June and wrote a cover letter to address the issue. Then I paid for assisted service at TLS to help me upload the new bank statement and the cover letter. MAIN APPLICANT & DEPENDANT (Spouse) at IKEJA TLS Standard. Read about the course you applied for, know the modules you will be doing, and get familiar with your SOP and your application documents, amongst others. God will see you through. Serendipity01: 2 Likes |

I did Bio on the 21st of June. I just went to the Fidelity bank branch closest to me now, they said the embassy would have sent a verification mail to head office and head office would have also directed it to the branch where I opened the account. Rachyyewumi: |

Please does anyone here know if UKVI contacts Fidelity bank to verify bank statement? I have called Fidelity Bank more than twice to know if they have been contacted by UKVI, but they kept saying that UKVI has their way of verifying without contacting them. |

Your tuition balance £7500 + Living expenses £9207 (outside London) Total = £16,707 Click on the link below to convert to Naira (#) equivalent https://www.oanda.com/currency-converter/en/?from=GBP&to=NGN&amount=1 But note that there may be fluctuations before you complete your 28 days POF, so do well to increase your POF by a significant amount. A friend of mine just booked an appointment for CAT A and in less than 20 minutes he got an appointment date. But in the mail, it's written than both the first-class and 2nd class upper graduates can apply for CAT A meanwhile on the website, only first-class is written on the website.

Education / How To Make A Minimum CGPA Of 3.50 by Itspachay(m): 1:56pm On May 20, 2017 |
Over the years, I have discovered that people worship those that are on CGPA of 3.50 and this bothers me. In my school if you are on 2.1, "you don become boss". Some people even say 2.1 students are sometimes better than first class students. Well let me quickly share with you the tricks on how to be on at least 2.1. They are very simple. Once you achieve a good result in your first year(100level), the rest is simple. Just build on it and make it better. In my 100 level days, i used to say if you can not make a first class, make at least 2.1. Our thinking is very powerful, have a good thinking today. Change the way you think, change your life. To be on 2.1 1) you need to have in your result A's and B's. The courses you have the grades is now the point of concern. Take for example you are offering a 4 unit course or a 3 unit course, it must be your utmost priority to make an A in that course. Tell yourself i am having an A in this course even if it is just one person that will have it. Develop an interest in those 4 or 3 unit courses as they will determine if you will make at least 2.1 Now to the 2 and 1 unit courses, you must have yourself an A or at least a B and nothing less than that. It is either you make A or B or nothing. You must make it your target everyday that this is what i want to make and work diligently with your time. A starts from 70 and you are given the chance to play away with 30 marks. I see no reason why you can not make 70A. The reason why we do not make A's most time is because we do not write our Tests very well. Before we take the test we have already failed it. As a matter of fact, if you will make an A it depends on your continuous assessment. 2) You need a good browsing phone with browsing data on it. You must browse on everything you are being taught in class everyday. I have discovered that when reading online, you discover what others do not discover and it is always interesting. It is not until you go to the library before you learn. As a matter of fact, your phone should be your library. You feel like questions must come from this angle in test or exam. When you read online within the scope of the course syllabus, you know more than what you learn in class. But please do ensure that you read your note for at least 1 hour in a day. While you are chatting or discussing with friends, you can learn on your phone and still enjoy your conversation. 3) Ensure you put something down in class. This will save you the stress of reading outside the course syllabus. 4) Ensure you do all assignments and ensure you do it alone. Do not dubb. Do them as if they were Tests. 5) Do practicals very well. Leave no stone unturned when writting reports. Most times the practicals you will do have already been done before. Search online or look for those that have done it earlier and study their work. 6) Walk with friends who have nothing to discuss other than books. Trust me when you walk with brilliant students, you will have no choice than to be brilliant provided you have a solid foundation. 7) Try to lay your hands on some people who are not good enough and explain the few things you know to them. By doing this, you know more. When the top students tell you something, doubt them by going online to read more. They might be wrong. 9) Study past questions after you have read all your books. While studying past question, use online to provide answers. 10) Lastly, prayer is the key to success. Pray as if you have not read anything before and after wiritting both your Tests and exams. Note: Make sure you do not act funny or stupid in class, be a good students to your lecturers and your colleagues. Be friends of all. I hope someome is enlightened. 1 Like |
