I don't know how to get a letter of recommendation from employer for my application

My previous workplace said they won't give me one because I no longer work with them.

Please what can I do

I plan to apply for a study permit (Canada) soon

Hello, please does anyone know how to go about the gift of deed. My brother has A land which he wants to gift to me so I can add it to my study visa application. If you have done this before, please guide me , thanks
