Best to stick with London. I heard same too but got our passports back within 6 weeks.

1 month and few days to be exact

Thanks a lot for your advice @CanadaIsHome! Sent our passports to London Visa Office via London VFS where I submitted my biometrics. We initially had some issues with mix-up about transmission fees for the other family members but I received emails earlier today from the London VO and vfs that the decision envelopes are ready for collection. It took just 2 days IRCC London! Glory to God!!!

Thanks for the reply.

Please kindly walk me through the process of sending our documents to London VFS. I did my biometrics there last year so I hear we may not need to pay transmission fees? I'm also thinking of sending by royal mail next day 1pm delivery service. What do I need to include in the package apart from the passports, photos, ppr letter and completed form (with height and eye colour)?

As always, your prompt feedback is appreciated. God bless

Can I send you a direct/private message?

Good day all! I just received a Passport Request Letter and currently live in the UK. I'd appreciate it if members in the house could advise on the most efficient vfs office to submit. I hear London takes a long time. I thankfully look forward to your prompt response.

Pls, those of you who have received more than 1 not straightforward mail; biko, how did it end?. Fear dey catch me o.

I had my biometrics at TLS Ikeja on 28th July, got my first not-straightforward mail on the 13th August, I just got another not straightforward mail today. Today is the 19th working day o...for Standard visa.

How long do I have to wait again? I’m tired o.

Well I shared my friend's story last week about how she got her 2nd Non-Straightforward email. She got her visa about 3 days later! So please do not worry. Keep up your faith!

Hello beautiful people. We need your advice please. A friend of mine applied (Biometric submission) since 22nd July using the Priority option but has Twice received a letter from TLS stating that her visa application processing is taking longer than earlier expected. Today makes it 18 working days after submission.

So these are our questions:
1) Please is this even normal?
2) Is there a number or email she can contact for further enquiries?
3) What would you advise as her next line of action?

Thanks as always for your prompt response everyone. God bless...

Hello Nairalanders. Can one use the GTBank downloaded bank statements which have been pre-stamped and signed as proof of funds for the visa application? Thanks in advance for your prompt feedback.

Hello house, a very silent observer here to testify to God's goodness

Visa collected this morning!!!

Biometric - 09JUN21
Collection Notice - 29JUN21
Pickup - 30JUN21
Standard Application - Abuja
Immigration History - Several Approved visas to UK, Denials from Canada(Visitor), Sweden(Student) all declared
No visa interview

So grateful to all contributors on this group and the gurus in the house for sharing their advice and experiences. which were very informative and useful.

My advice: keep the faith in God and trust Him for favour, be truthful and precise in your applications, follow all reasonable advice on this platform, don't lose hope and surely you will also testify.
