"I wonder why she should be pressuring me to change my religion before getting married to her. I sorted an advice from a pastor, and I was told that she was not the woman for me. That i will have problems along the marriage. After I few consideration, I decided to also sort for advice from Nairalanders.

I am a muslim and my woman is a christian. She is forcing me to change my religion which i have been practicing since childhood. Taking such a decision is not that easy you know. To change my religion because of a woman? I don't think it is right. She has also refuse to change to my religion. Now, her family are pressuring and want me to change my religion. I am writing this to seek advice from Nairalanders to give me direction to follow... I know many will yab, insult or in-sugar me... I just need a candid advice."

A better approach should be adopted by our security operatives in combating crime. I think they see students as a threat because they couldn't bear the stress in sch to obtain B.Sc and very soon he/she will become their boss.Making use of Ammunition on harmless students and in situations that can be curtailed in a civil manner is barbarically retrogressive in this century. It is pathetic that those that are saddled with the responsibility of protecting lives and properties of the citizenry are the ones causing chaos. Pls remember those days that student area was a 'no go area' for security operatives don't push them to the wall because they will surely bounce back.
Am using this medium to call on all concerned parties to intervene before the situation goes beyond comprehension.

This matter is a serious one to be sincere.... At first, I don't know the reason why two states should be managing a university. I think that's what is really affecting Lautech.

Osun state (let me say their Govt here) are so dumb. They are yet to cater for their civil servants owing them several months of salaries, yet they are still fighting with the Oyo state Govt in the ownership of the institution. Osun already had OAU (federal uni) and UNIOSUN (state owned)... Oyo (UI-federal), so let them have Lautech too as thei state-owned institution. Final!!!!!

both states are in financial crisis. would you let go of ur partnership business in such condition? why can't OYO state establish their state university it they need one?

Aregbesola has done perfectly well in osun state despite the economic situation in d country. From security, to health, massive infrastructural facilities, education e.t.c . He virtually touched every sector in d state. But there is no way u will walk without he head shaking. The only issue he is having is that of half salary

it is so pathetic that we could find some of our youth and younger generations supporting suspected and potential criminals.we should not be looking at corruption issue from tribal,religion, ethnic, political party,regional e.t.c angle. we should face facts.Look at the way billions of Naira is flying around and they will be sharing measures of rice that worth just 500 to the ppl. Kwarans sees Saraki before now as a small god but became mad when they knew Saraki became trilionaire through them. It's time we understand that politicians that buy's their ways to the top will do us no favor, it is high time we reject the peanuts they offer us,it's high time we erase nepotism out of our system and do things right.
