dahfweshdude69: my interview was on the 25th of June, 6:30am appointment.. I was interviewed by the lady in window 1. it rained that morning and I was really sick after the interview.
me:good morning
vo: good morning.. can you please wait,am trying to put on my system.
me: OK..no problem
(I waited for a minute or something close to that)
vo: okay.. u are ade ilerioluwa?
me:yes
vo: why are you going to the states?
me: am going for my bachelor degree in computer science.
vo: and which school are you going to?
me: northeastern state university, Oklahoma
vo: why did you pick that school?
me:.it was recommended to me by ets after my toefl result was out and I also checked usnews. com and Wikipedia and found out it is a prestigious university in Oklahoma.
vo: what do u know about Oklahoma?
me: Oklahoma is located in the south central of usa, it is the 20th most extensive and the
28th most populous of the 50 United States .present governor of Oklahoma is Mary fallin. geographically, It is bounded on the east by Arkansas
and Missouri, on the north by Kansas, on the
northwest by Colorado, on the far west by New
Mexico, and on the south and near-west by

vo: why are you going to study computer science?
me: ever since I was young, I've always had the passion to study computer science and the world today is in the computer age,hence increasing the demand for computer experts .
vo: do u have any computer science certificate?
me: no..(vo looked shocked)...(then I told her I just graduated from high school )
vo: how old are u and when did u graduate from high school?
me: am 18 and I graduated from high school August 2012.
vo: OK... did u take any standardized test?
me: yes...both sat n toefl
vo: can I see ur sat scores? (passes it 2 her,she looks it ,nods her head and drop it)
vo keeps on typing something on her system..
vo: do u have any relative in the us?
me: yes.. my elder sister...she is a non immigrant and attends Cameron university.
vo: are u going to Cameron university right?
me: no...am going to north eastern state university
vo: okay... who is sponsoring ur education?
me: my dad...he is the CEO of xxxx.... he is a real estate manager and he is a registered wholesaler with dangote company. (vo looks through a paper on her wall )
vo: how much does he have in his bank acct?
me: 12,364,564.49 (crammed it already )
vo: do u have his financial documents with you?
me: yes
vo: please pass it let me see it...(she looks through his bank statement n types something on her system )
vo: okay.. what do u plan on doing after you graduate?
me: am coming back to Nigeria for my nysc program and I plan on working with the government or any top private firm for 5yrs ..also as my dad's first and only son, am entitled to every single property he owns, I must come back and help him out once I graduate.
vo types something, picks up my i-20,sevis receipt and sat scores, hands them over to me and says,'am going to issue you visa....hands over a white paper,circles an address and told me to go dere n pick up my passport on Monday )...reminds me the visa is for 2years and I should renew it after it expires

I'm still trying to udastd wat happened to nairaland. Woke up one mrng n realised that i cudn't access nairaland: all the transcript that i saved on my fone rait frm part1 to part6, they all gone. I still don't udastd ow posibu dat was: abi na witch? Even 2day wen i realised dat nairaland was bak, my account no longer exist. I had to register again as a new user. Anyways, no mata ow hard they try, they can't bring this site down..long live nairaland, long live this thread n more success stories to come. Congrats to all those that jus got dia visas..
