AbleGodDidIt:
How are you mama? Hope you and LO are doing fine? You’ve been in my thoughts. Let’s hear from you.
Good evening. Sorry I didn’t get back to the group. Gave birth on the 23rd of March by elective CS, I had to go back after you people advised not to wait any longer. They checked baby’s weight through a scan and found out she was weighing 4.4kg. The doctor advised I shouldn’t push especially since it was my first, I didn’t object o cause at that point I was tired and I feel it was the Holy Spirit saving me from a whole lot of issues that could have happened, I was scheduled for a CS immediately. Thank God I went with my hospital bag. Baby came out at 4:05pm with the cord tied round her neck twice and her hands. I call her my miracle baby cause imagine if I was induced. God made the whole process like this from day 1 with the hospital for a better reason. Baby weighed 3.8kg. Baby is doing fine and I am recovering very well. Vigilante isn’t easy o especially now that her cord has fallen and her tummy has started disturbing her. It’s well o! Thank you guys for the concern and care, God bless us all and safe delivery to other expectant mothers.

Omakraid:

Please don't panic as its not good for you and baby right now.... I don't know why your hospital insisted on 42 weeks if you don't fall into labour but I'll suggest you go for a scan to be sure baby is fine because as they grow in there, the space reduces for them....

Also do more of trekking, squatting and other things that can trigger labour. Safe delivery ma'am
I noticed the space reducing as well from baby’s movement. I have been taking daily walks, pineapple and dates. Will just go back to the hospital. Thank you ma

Ranameer:
true talk. is not advisable to induce labor at 42 weeks based on what I read on Google. It should be CS straight if pregnant till 42 weeks.
oh wow! Will head straight to the hospital tomorrow

Good morning fellow mothers . Please I need your advise o as I am a ftm. I am 41 weeks and 3 days yet no sign of labour. My hospital is saying I will be induced at 42 weeks if I don’t go into labour. Some people have been telling me 42 weeks is to late that I should have been induced by now. What do you think about this as I am panicking badly.

Good afternoon everyone. I just found out about this thread. Please I need your opinion/suggestions o, I turned 41 weeks yesterday( Friday) and I’m still not having any labour signs. My antenatal was yesterday too and the hospital didn’t say much, they only said baby can come 2 weeks before or after so I shouldn’t be worried and told me to come for my next ante natal by next week Friday if I haven’t given birth (by then I will be 42 weeks o). I’m really worried as I was expecting them to induce me or perform a membrane sweep. Have exercised tire, done the miles circuit, taking pineapple and dates but nothing still. Please what do you think about what the hospital said? I’m a ftm, my Edd was meant to be March 11th.
