Please how did you go about this?

Please respond urgently!

dipdat123:
I had visa denied on the 20th at the Lagos embassy and immediately rescheduled for Abuja and got a date for December 14th. I was wondering if you I could email them about getting an earlier date since my program start date is January 4th.

Please have they later emailed you that your passport is ready for pick up

They didn’t. I sent a mail to Lagos NIV after 10 business days elapsed from the 13th. I sent a mail on the 27th. They replied me on the 28th. I picked up on the 29th.

Have you ever used this before? It always says no status update available.

I enter A0********

Or am I entering it the wrong way? Should the A be removed?

I did my interview on the 13th and I am yet to get a mail from them.

However, people that did theirs on the 16th and 19th respectively have gotten mails.

Use this to track it

I think you should have gotten a mail now.

Is there anyone that did theirs on the 13th of October and got their Visa?

Have you received any mail regarding pick up?

sydney070:
Great minds,
I got my VISA approved on 16th October but I am yet to be notified for my passport pickup or don't send email notification when ready?

Hi Oluwaseun

When was your interview? And have you gotten any response so far?

Oluwaseunisi:
Good morning everyone.

Please for those that recently got their visa approved through expedited appointment, have you been able to track your passport or visa status to know where to pick it up?

Hi Juniorsworld

When(what date) did you do your interview? And when were you called to pick up your passport?

juniorsworld:
For those who are picking up their visa, are the protests blocking the highways, making it difficult to get to DHL? I am going to do a pick up but it seems the protests have blocked highways.

Hi

Please when was your interview and when were you asked to come and pick your passport?

morgang:

I suggest you book an Uber that will navigate the blocked terrains. Mind you, don’t go to DHL office at Isolo. There was a generic mail sent to to me and upon arrival at Isolo, they didn’t have any of our passports. Go to VI DHL office (Muri Okunola) which I believe it’s not blocked by protesters.

Good news?

Travel / Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by JadePrincess: 11:19am On Jul 31, 2020
I feel really sorry for you. Who hurt you? Why are you so cynical and bitter? Like what’s the point to all of these? Sending love and light your way. I hope you find peace. The pressure of the pandemic is getting to the best of us but we are not letting it turn us into little monsters.
Let’s all just calm down. It’s really not this serious.

slimmy2005:
We don’t need to see who is the foolish one here. The Nigerian embassy can post whatever they want. The president decides what happens. Trump decides when the embassy opens and which one opens.

This is not democrat rule, this is Trump’s America. He doesn’t freaking care about you wimps.

The fact that you think you matter is laughable. Even citizens willing to bring their husbands to the country were suspended from such.

Trump doesn’t fucking care about you. If the school doesn’t go in-class, you are going to them embassy to receive your rejection letter.

Keep fanning your emotions. There is no US for you this 2020. I’ll be back to remind you. The earlier you accept it the better for your emotions.

I honestly cannot understand why some people’s Emotional intelligence is almost non existent. It’s really sad and heartbreaking. Joking with suicide. Intentionally being cynical. Faceless people trying to score points against each other in the bid to sound intelligent. O ga ooo!

Stevenssen:

I was thinking along the same lines.
There's a difference between being 'practical' and coming here to mock people with every opportunity.

Some have offered advice about deferring and not paying sevis yet and people have taken those advice well. Many people on here already deferred their admission and there was no harm done in hoping and holding out for the best.
But there are several toxic and stupid people here who seem to derive joy from mocking others. I don't get it. Perhaps they think it makes them look edgy or cool.

Truth is, one cannot read 3 pages of this thread without coming across these kinda comments and it's sick. There is a clear line between being funny and being stupid. Empathy is something many Nigerians lack. Someone is even joking about suicide.

Hi
I got admitted to MTU Data Science also, trying to get GA from other departments and institutes. It’s been daunting. I also got Texas Tech MBA, no GA too.

They told me outrightly no funding for data science. I’m even thinking of deferring the admission.

I am still holding on to Texas Tech. Hoping to get funding on campus after I register/resume.

I’m still hoping ETSU, NCAT and Oakland come through.

Got an offer from TTU as well; Political science and I can assure you, I’m somewhat despair with this fall resumption. I’m pretty looking much ahead of spring and my decision would suffice by the end of June.

What’s your TTU deficit ?

Hi Guys,

Thank you all so much for your contribution on this platform.

This is where I am at:

I got admission into 6 US universities.

Texas Tech : Computer Science (1k Scholarship, instate tuition)
Purdue University, Fort Wayne: Computer Science (didn’t qualify for GA, they already picked 5 people)
Oakland University: System Engineering (GA Pending feedback)
East Tenesse State University: Computer and Information Science (No feedback yet)
Michigan Tech: Data Science (No GA for data science)
North Carolina A&T State university: Computational Science and Engineering (GA pending feedback)

I have also gotten my i20 for Texas Tech, however I’m not quite sure what next step to take seeing that COVID-19 is grinding everything to a halt.

Should I pay for visa fees, can we schedule interviews whilst the embassy is still closed.

Or should I just defer the admissions?

Any advice kind Sirs and Mas?

Also, is there anyone in ETSU or NCAT that can help with advice for G.A? There’s been no response and I’m chucking it down to the COVID-19 brouhaha. But any other useful advice would be greatly appreciated.

Please.

Thank you.
