NYSC / Re: Going To NYSC From Abroad by jadetola(f): 12:05am On Dec 26, 2015 |
LogoDWhiz: Yes I did, and we can start with general registration. The nysc registration requires universities to send in diplomas, but I don't graduate till May and my school won't know who/ what to send my transcript to in the nysc office. Also, there is a specific procedure for those involved with medicine but my degree will be in biology, and my personal track is pre-med which is not reflected in my degree, so idk how I can prove that I want to be involved in medicine or the clinic at the camps |

NYSC / Re: Your NYSC Questions Answered by jadetola(f): 11:17pm On Dec 25, 2015 |
I am in America now, and I have little to no info on what I'm supposed to be doing and how to serve. I don/t know how to register via my uni, or what these white shirts are for, or if there are rats in the camp and unsanitary situations that I don't think I would be able to handle.... I'm just kinda lost. I would also want to serve in a clinic/ hospital/ medically related area as opposed to teaching that it seems most corpers do. I just need general help biko |
NYSC / Going To NYSC From Abroad by jadetola(f): 9:44pm On Dec 25, 2015 |
Hello everyone! I'm currently in America, where I will complete my undergrad degree in the next semester. I would like to serve after I graduate and start in August (I think that is batch B). Is there anyone that has experience with coming from America or abroad to Nigeria for NYSC and what steps had to be taken from here, including what my college has to do, forms I have to fill etc. Also, any general advice for someone who isn't quite familiar with present day Naija is appreciated. |
