I was given the 24th of this month as my appointment date but when I got to their office last-week Thursday , my appointment was scheduled for the week.

The request made in terms of documents are: air & hotel reservations.

I wish to find out all the required documents from people who have been to the Estonian embassy in India . I have checked the website – www.newdelhi.vm.ee - however, I just want to know if there exist other relevant information, hints or documents.

1.yes, entry visa
2. supporting documents including letter of admission, proof of hotel book in India(not really important, you can just add it), bank statement of account- if you have a substantial amount you can use it. else, use a sponsor(family or guardian).
caveat: please avoid money lodgement, especially if you intend using your account!
if you are using a sponsor, you will need to get a letter of sponsorship which will be signed by your sponsor cum an affidavit to this effect. also, the statement of account must carry the address of the sponsor.
avail any document that will convince the consular/interviewer......................
if you are going for a bachelor degree...research well and inquire at the India High Commission if you will need to authenticate your WAEC/NECO/SSCE document. if yes, you can only do this in Abuja at Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Going to India to get Estonia Visa . We do not seem to fall into any of these categories below:

ENTRY VISA

Entry visa is generally issued in the following cases:

i) a person of Indian origin; spouse and children of a person of Indian national or origin;
ii) dependent of a person holding an Employment visa;
iii) applicant seeking visa for Auroville Foundation;
iv) applicant seeking admission in yoga, Vedic culture or Indian systems of dance and music;
v) applicant, who has purchased property in India with the approval of Reserve Bank of India and registered his/her property in India.
vi) Members of sports teams and sports persons
vii) Applicants travelling to India under ITEC or any other Government of India Scholarship Programme.

At last, people are contributing seriously. @ Janetbb, as u are applying for Belgium, try and book india appointment. It would serve as plan B.
Statistically, the rate at which india and Egypt grants tourist visa to Nigerians is higher than that of Belgium.

They ar right bec Belgium embassy cannot issue u visa for study purpose but can only issue u visa for short stay... Ar u going for masters or undergraduate?

The return ticket which is a requirement for Belgium visa costs about 162,000 Naira.

for Masters. Do you think it is wise visa Belgium visa. cos of all the reqiurements.

Return flight ticket that might that will end up a waste

I just received this mail from Estonia concerning obtaining Belgium visa:

"Please note that Belgium embassy will not issue visa for study purposes, only for tourism. Therefore they will require you to present return flight tickets and hotel booking for the travel period"


I think it is a negative indication.

Am trying Belgium. I want to ask my employee for the tax clearance today.

I have received the admission letter and was told to let them know when I would be applying at estonia embassy so that they can send d trp application for dis. They said d doc only last 4 two months.

They said it's Conditional admission wah other condition is to be satisfied.
Moreso Noone in the house has spoken anything about Statement of Acct. Like how much are we expected to have in Acct.

Well I really can't say for certain if you would get in or not because on the waitlist, available admission places would first be given to those who must have scored 7 before those who have scored 6 would be considered, nevertheless if you finished with a good first degree, let's say a very high 2nd class or a 1st class then your chances are better off. Nevertheless don't lose faith, you never can tell, God has his way of doing things, I've seen people who scored 6 and still got admitted.....

It's a 50-50 thing...... You could be accepted or rejected. Being waitlisted simply means your application is considered further hence you could get in or might not get in. It depends on the schools assessment of the individual application. Were you waitlisted?

Yes. I scored 6. I was expecting security related questions but the questions were on things I had done years back

Janet from your earlier comments from inception it seems you applied for two M.Sc. courses (Cyber Security and Communicative electronics) at Tallinn University of Technology. If you have done any interview for any of those courses, your score should give you an idea of your chances. For instance if you score in the range of 8-10 you definitely would be accepted, between 6 - 7 you should be waitlisted and anything below that I think you would not stand a chance so basically it all depends on what you score in your Skype interview. Interview results are normally out latest a week after the interview so if you haven't gotten yours or still do not know your fate yet then I think you should email admissions and let them know

I did my interview two weeks back and the questions i was asked were technical questions. I applied for masters in cyber security in TUT. i was asked 5 technical questions e.g encryption, private and public key, routing table, pinging and how do you ping. I dont know my faith yet until june 1st, that is when they announce admission result. My advice is that dont read your motivation letter only, trty and read more on the course you are applying for. Cheers

I also applied for the same course and he asked me the same questions. I was expecting questions from the motivation letter till he said "Can I ask you some technical questions"? I was shocked. I tried my best and I hope God will help me. Anybody for MSc Communicative electronics? Pls, share your Skype interview questions.
